I ripped the ripstop!!!!

Jul 28, 2011
I wore out the knees, ripped the ripstop with help from a utility knife... Didnt get my leg, the knees are shot after a two years plumbing/carpenter/ut knife, and these were the menards version. I ordered some of the ranger style because the knees are even better and the pockets. I do love the fit too, not too tight and not too baggy enough room to move yet I dont have to worry about my britches getting caught in power tools. I would love to see a water resistant cell phone pocket with gortex or something that would be great!!

I have and will be this product again

Dec 16, 2017
Very good product, great for casual events and work.

A Fantastic Pair of Work Pants!!

Mar 26, 2015
These pant have exceeded way beyond any expectation that I had with them!! Further more I would recommend them to anyone who wants to know!

Built to last?

Jun 29, 2017
Have Riggs Rangers both pants and shorts, work in landscaping, concealed cargo flaps have disintegrated over the snaps on both pairs after less then a year of use, right back pocket pants have ripped horizontally. Disappointed.

Great Jeans

Feb 6, 2016
A bit pricy but looks and feels great! Great fit and feel.

Colour variety in all sizes

May 8, 2018
I work mostly receiving room duties at my job, and these are great for not wearing out on me quickly. Durable, lasting about a year before wear starts to thin them at the seems. My only real complaint is that they don't come in black or deep brown in the waist size I need. :/ I can go down a size to accommodate, since I buy a little larger than I need anyway, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

I would not recommend.

Nov 13, 2017
I ordered these pants in the same size as my room to move jeans and was greatly disappointed. They were too small and I did not care for the material. They are too small and not what I was expecting at all. I will order the room to move jeans but not these.

So you want tough trousers?

Jul 8, 2012
These trousers are as tough as you can get and worth every penny, they last for ages and are great value for money

Good work pants

Apr 24, 2012
A little more expensive than they ought to be. However, the features are good and the material seems durable. A little long in the length. The waist is accurate. A lot of loose threads. I bought 2 pairs after I bought the flannel lined version this winter. I've enjoyed the flannel lined one's quite a bit.

Great work pants.

Mar 8, 2011
Excellent for office & field work. Look good with a "tough enough" attitude".

Outstanding.

Jan 28, 2010
Surprised at the high quality vs. price. Been looking for something this good for a long time, and was also pleased with the customer treatment. Shipping was quick and careful.

All cargo pockets get used!

Nov 6, 2014
I have the 3W060 with fleece Lining and the only worn areas that does not meet my satisfaction is the smallest compartment on the mid thigh smallest phone pocket. I suggest leather outer shield. This would make these pants bullet proof!

Small waist workpants

Jun 21, 2010
Great pants if you do not mind ordering the next larger size. The waist runs small, a size smaller than what it is listed. Tough durable and comfortable.

Great Choice

Dec 30, 2009
I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He said they do fit a little snugger than usual but is extremely happy with them. They are very tough and sturdy and I don't expect to have to be mending these any time soon. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that's rough on their clothes with the jobs they do. These will hold up well for you. I will say though that if you go commando, purchasing these would be the right time to start purchasing underwear as well. My husband said they rub pretty bad.

Great Boots

Aug 26, 2011
Sheplers has a very fast delivery to Australia 5 days

This product has great features

Aug 28, 2014
I have bought these pants before & YES they are the best pants I have ever owned!!!! I ride a motorcycle & they are perfect for that!!!! Thank you again

Ripstop Cotton Ranger Pant

Apr 20, 2011
Very good fit. Pockets are in the right places and plenty of them.Comfortable and very functional.

Excellent and tough work clothing

Mar 23, 2017
Two plus years of hard on-site construction use with a switch out from one pair to another. Great durability. Great wear. pretty fair price for a hardworking pair of pants!

Great Pants

Nov 13, 2010
Quality and fit are excellent. I love the style especially the side pockets. Great pants in between jeans and casual dress pants.

Never gets in the way

Aug 6, 2016
For six months, I wore these throughout every work week installing HVAC systems (climbing in rafters, bending over and kneeling down). The cargo pockets never got in the way when I kneeling as my current Carhartt's do! There are extra pockets on the right cargo pocket where I carry my utility knife. I'm right-handed so I love being able to reach down quickly while something is in my left hand. It's easy and efficient. The crouch gusset is awesome. Essential in my opinion. Too much pinch otherwise. I really believe I'd still be wearing these almost a year after purchasing had I not accidentally cut a hole in my pants that eventually ripped. I loved these pants and wish I had them every time I kneel on the cargo pocket corner edge of my current Carhartt pants. Buy these if you want a good pant.

New style for me, like it

May 23, 2013
Great pants for the price pleased with the purchase

ripstop rangers

Mar 31, 2011
vary well made . size 36 was actually a 37 even after washing . fabric was comfortable compaired to other work wear I have worn . really wish they came in denim dark blue and had a screwdriver / mini mag flashlight pocket on the left side don't want to have to dig for them laying sideways a bottom of cargo pocket / don't get me wrong like cargo pockets keep your wallet in one for a month and you will never be able to stand having it in your back pocket again -

Good product

Nov 12, 2017
Would it be possible to get this in 33x36 sizing?

Great Look and Purpose

Feb 11, 2014
Good: Great guy look with multi-pockets, leather trim, rugged looking and feeling. They need to make shorts for summer in same model. Bad: Not enough colors. Need Black, Navy and Khaki. Get rid of hammer loop. It is an outdoor sportsman pant more than a work pant. Ugly: Not exactly true to size. They run a tad small and need a little elastic on the sides for comfort. Every time I wash them, I am afraid they won't fit again. It is causing me to lose weight to keep up (for down) with them and who doesn't like to eat? ;-)

Great pants

Nov 13, 2010
This is my second year to buy these pants. They are roomy, comfy and have a great array of different pockets that sometimes eliminate the need to wear a tool belt. In the Spring I have them made into shorts.

Great But

Nov 10, 2010
I would like to ask as a left handed person that you make pants that have the leather patch on the pocket on the left side. The is really the only problem that I have with them. any chances of that happening

this product has great features-a few more would be icing...

Nov 11, 2013
High quality/very durable. Features such as double knee coverage add for a very durable/long lasting pant. carpenter pockets attached to the outside of cargo pocket is the best of both worlds (Wrangler, you need to put them on both sides! that way their user friendly for both your Righties and Lefties.) I actually find the carpenter pockets very handing and quick access, and the fact I have cargo pockets to stow my other less needed stuff-works good. And thank you for "Dark Brown". Many of us that work in a plant/warehouse know that best two colors for playin' down the dirt/grime is dark brown and black-unless you like lookin' like pigpin. which is really the only major draw back-lack of color selection. Wrangler, come on? No black? And how about a denim? Like the others, waiting for the upgrades.

These pants are a must have for the working man.

Jan 11, 2011
My husband LOVES these pants! We own an auto body repair facility and these have just enough pockets in all the right places. They're comfortable too - honestly, these are the only pants he will wear to work. In the summer he wears the same style but in shorts.

I've been buying these for years. Love the future and value.

Apr 21, 2016
Excellent value for a good price. These are.both very durable and very comfortable.

Best of the Best

Jan 26, 2017
I ordered 2 pair for my son for his birthday, He absolutely loves these pants, He wants more for his birthday.(i told him its his turn to buy now). He will never buy another brand of pants again.

I used to like this brand.

Apr 29, 2018
I have worn these pants for several years. I've found that they lasted 6 months on average. They always fail in the crotch/seat area. Also, it seems hard to find any consistency in waist sizes.

Excellent Trousers

Jun 25, 2011
These are the best pants for the price I have ever gotten. Very comfortable and durable. Many washings and very little fading of the color. A good all around value.

By far the best pants on the market.

Jan 18, 2013
This pant fits the bill for a business casual, yet it has the durability and wear of an industrial workwear. I no longer will wear jeans. The rip stop fabric is fantastic, and comfortable as slacks and more durable than denim.

I am will be purchasing this product again

Aug 24, 2017
I am a crane operator the ranger cargo pants are just what I need in comfort and flexibility for the hard work it takes when setting up a crane ...

THE BEST

Dec 7, 2015
Hands down the best work pants I have ever owned. Roomy pockets, durable material, great fit. I will never wear anything else. Have been a Ben Davis man for years but no longer. The pants are the "THE BEST".

Good look and feel

Jan 3, 2013
My husband's new "favorite pants", have now become my son's. The smallest size available in men's are a little big on my son, so I wish this style actually came in boys sizes, however, they're not extremely big and can be worn with a belt. The price is a little high however when considering pants that will fit a growing 15 year old.

Some of the best pants i have worn in a long old time :)

Jan 19, 2017
Everyday ware & Work. Very comfortable and well fitting for my frame. I would recommend these pants to any one who wants a quality product.

Would buy this again

Feb 16, 2017
Bought these for hiking and birdwatching. Quality is good, and fits perfect.

Tough as nails

Apr 16, 2011
I've had a pair of these for over three years and they've faded some but have no rips, torn seams or wear through holes. I suspect I'll get another three years from them. This new pair is just so I had more than one color to choose from. They also fit loose enough where it counts that you can move like you need to move on the job.

Ripstop Ranger Pant

Dec 14, 2010
I work in the medical field and these pants are very durable and all of the guys in our office have decided to wear them as our uniforms. They look great!

Surprised!!

Jan 20, 2013
It's hard to find pants that fit right for Big & Tall people. The biggest problem is that if you do find something that fit's well then the manufacturer changes something and you have to start all over again! These Rigg work pants fit great & I hope Wrangler doesn't change anything about these pants. If they don't then Wrangler has a friend for life!!

Seemed great at first but wore out quickly

Mar 12, 2016
I work in construction and wear out pants quickly. I have been wearing Wrangler jeans for a few years and liked the fit, value, but they wore out quickly, lasting only a few months. the weakest part were the pockets which wore out very quickly. Soon, my keys and change were falling through holes in the fabric. These were more expensive, but I thought I would give them a chance. When they arrived, I quickly saw that the linings in the back pockets were frayed and loose, but I needed the pants right away and kept them. Big mistake. Now, just a few months later, there are holes in the pockets and they are expensive garbage. It's my fault for not returning them right away, but it takes so much time and effort to pack and ship the pants back, it's not worth the effort. Part of the problem with buying online, you can't just take them back to the store and exchange them. I won't buy from Wrangler anymore, their quality control isn't there.

Size

Sep 12, 2018
Levi's and Wrangler size 38 waist are different. Wrangler was much tighter. I don't know why measurements differ like they do. But great quality. Order waist size up

Workmanship

Apr 13, 2011
Some of the stiching is not the quality that I would have expected. It appears tha the material was not properly tucked or prepared before final stiching. Quality control seems to be lacking before the product is sent out to retail.

Rip Stop?

Sep 18, 2015
I work in a warehouse environment and have gone through two pair of these "rip stop" pants. They held up longer than jeans but both ended up with holes and rips after a year.

Nice pants

Nov 12, 2018
I bought 2 pair and liked the features but the sizes run large. 2 inches wider and longer then stated had to send them back.

Great Pants

Mar 30, 2016
The fit is perfect, material is nice and rugged as I move a lot of rough sawn timber around, quality is second to none.

Some of us big guys are tall too

Nov 16, 2012
it would be nice if wrangler could make all sizes and lengths available to all... for instance i am a size 50 in waist and a 34 in length but i cant get a 34 length in a 50 waist so i am forced to get a 32 which fits but is just a little bit to short... so yes some larger guy happen to be tall also just because we become larger in the waist doesn't always mean we get shorter... so my rating for fit just is that some larger men are in need of a longer length as well as the larger waist

exceptional pant

Apr 19, 2012
i was looking for a tough, durable pant that could be multi use. Well, I found them.. These pants are very well thought out, they fit great and in fact look good too. I own three pairs and have worn them for everything from military exercises to casual everyday wear. These are my go to pants for sure. I am so impressed with the durability. I have put these pants through just about everything. if you are looking for tough pants for everyday use, stomping around in the woods, construction, hiking, camping, or military. You can not go wrong with these. The only con I have is that I wish they were a tad lighter, but this is the price you pay for durability. But even then they are not that bad, similar to a pair of jeans, but not as light as a hiking style pant.

Good material but sizing is strange

Mar 4, 2013
Great quality material but the cut in the crotch is too long. They come up above my belly button and I'm a very tall guy. If that measurement were reduced, the pants would be perfect. Also the pant leg inseam is slightly too long for 36" but that I can live with.

Awesome Pants

Aug 26, 2010
I own 5 pair of the Ripstop shorts I use at work and always get compliments, they are great. These pants are just as good, I work in a warehouse and the cargo pockets are perfect for holding box cutters, pens, small notebook and are rugged enough for a warehouse environment. I normally wear blue jeans but these pants are fast replacing them, I recommend these for anyone who works in a warehouse or outdoors, they are AWESOME!!!

Just good pants

May 26, 2010
I was tired of buying jeans that wore out in a week. So i went online to find a pair that fit my needs. Here they are. Wrangler did a great job producing these pants. Not only are they tough but they have plenty of space to hold tools, nails, beer....whatever. If you want to know what they feel like its kinda like the old bdu military camo only thicker...good stuff

Experience

Jan 9, 2010
The hiker jeans I purchsed exceeded my expectations. They were high quality and they fit perfectly. Other brands the same size seldom fit, they are either too big or too small. I believe that is because the measurements in other countries do not conform to USA standard measurement. I am please with this product!

These were once my everyday work pants, no longer.

May 21, 2018
Just everyday work pants, mowing, house work and average use. My previous 2 pair lasted 3 years. My new pair lasted 2 days. The material on both sides of the front zipper is as durable as a paper towel. Leaned against my tailgate to grab a grocery bag and both sides ripped open. The pants are brand new with no visible wear. Called the number on a previous post and nobody picked up. Very disappointed with such a major Brand like Wrangler.

Extra Design???

Nov 15, 2011
As a parapylegic, it would be very helpful to have the side pocket down farther, out of the way of the wheels and easier to reach in a sitting position

Ripstop worth it!

May 26, 2011
Excellent design for riding motorcycles long distance. Comfy, ergonomic, and utilitarian.

Great tough pants

Aug 29, 2011
I am a large guy, I go through pants easily, and these pants are made to last, the croch of the jean it made to not tear out like others. I love these pants!

Would buy again

Jul 4, 2016
These pants are tough. Have many pair. Wear them week in week out for work and mostly all the time. They are what they say...which in my opinion are the best out there

IT'S A SHAME THEY DON'T FIT

Oct 27, 2016
I bought three pair of these. Basically, to replace several pair of aging carpenter & cargo pants. And was looking forward to them. Unfortunately, as much as I appreciate the quality, styling & overall durable construction - and I do, more than you know - they don't fit me. And having tried others on at retail outlets, I've no other options in sizing. So, sadly, I'm returning them for refund.

The ideal pant. In tall sizes!

Dec 31, 2010
We've been buying these for a few years now. These are pretty much the only pants my husband wears. He's a slim, athletic 6'8" so finding pants that fit well (aren't super-baggy) is a real challenge. The ranger pants are stylish enough to wear with a sweater for a dinner out, comfortable enough for long hikes and rugged enough to dig ditches in. Plus they have pockets for tools + cell phone.

Nice Pants

Oct 8, 2010
These pants have an attractive design of quality material and craftmanship. Color is rich and very comfortable style.

Great Pants

Jan 14, 2010
They're a very durable pants that have stood up to everything I've put them through and I'm hard on pants. Plus I think they're more comfortable than jeans. That's why I'm buying them again.

Riggs work wear ripstop

Dec 7, 2017
The pants are great but I would like to have some in the camo colors that you guys have.

love these pants

May 5, 2010
Great pants and great fit. I wear these almost every day whether I'm working or not. Extremely tough

GREAT - waist runs small

Oct 11, 2010
Great pants, i wear a 34w they are almost to small. I say order two sizes up in the waist. I should have order the 36w x 36L...

Great Pair of pants

Oct 29, 2012
These pants fit very well and they also wear great. I have had many people ask where I got them and said how great they look. I will buy more.

Very nice

Jul 2, 2010
These pants are fantastic, sturdy yet nice looking. Highly recommended. Definitely be buying more.

Best for Moto!

Oct 28, 2012
I found these Ranger / Ripstops while preparing for a long road trip to Memphis. Perfect for riding and working and riding again. Motomann

Haven't had much of a chance to try them out yet but I...

Nov 3, 2010
Haven't had much of a chance to try them out yet but I can tell they are going to be very durable. Great for hunting.

UPS damaged mdse.Previous pair was great and that is reason

Jun 2, 2018
Style was great, just what I was looking for. Get second pair on the way, needed for trip.

Larger then before

Dec 7, 2011
I had ordered a pair of these pants from Kingsized about two years ago and the pants fit just right. I ordered the same size from Wrangler and the waist was much larger. We really like the quality and durability of the pants but the sizing is different from before.

excellent, but disappointed

Mar 20, 2017
I love these pants, I didn't have anything bad to say about them until the other week, pulled them out of the laundry and noticed that they are ripping about .25" above the stitching for the reinforced knee. Took a look at my other pairs and they are also starting to show the same wear. No where else is showing any signs of wear. I had been recommending them to my friends and family. Now I'm just not sure on the quality. I've had BDU's that never showed any signs of wear like that even after a year in the desert.

Most durable pants

Nov 22, 2011
These pants put other cargo pants to shame. The material is more durable than denim. The reinforced pockets live up to their expectations - in 6 months of lots of wear, there have been no issues with these pants.

Great product

Jun 4, 2016
Purchase this product as part of the uniform for my employees. Wear great, very durable.

The Best Yet

Jul 30, 2011
37 yrs of R.R. Best work pant I've ever worn so far. I've found a winner and I'll stick with them.

Sizes do not go any higher to fit my man.

Dec 2, 2016
My man is always moving; bending, twisting, lifting, welding, grinding, crawling,.... He wears 44-46. Not going to make sizes for everyone? That is too bad. You miss about 10-20 % of your demographic .

Great pants for big guys!

Nov 22, 2011
These are high quality pants, with a good fit and just what I wanted. A little long, but I hemmed them...so no problem.

Sqweemish about ordering on-line

Nov 1, 2011
These briches fit great from the start. After laundering, there was no shrinkage. Great all-around pants: hiking, fishing, working, and just plain walking and sitting around. I am so very glad I ordered these and will be ordering more.

Getting ready to place a bigger order of the same pants...

Feb 8, 2017
Turned these into my work pants/nice pants/go anywhere pants. These are great. Fixing to get additional colors and cull through my closet to get rid of the pants.

It is confortable

Jul 13, 2013
I bought because it looks like is a tough product and confortable and I discovered that it is what i was lookin for

very stiff, very heavy, very uncomfortable

Oct 6, 2016
Very stiff, very heavy, very uncomfortable. Product description very misleading.

overall quality is good

Jan 3, 2016
Myself and many of my fellow workers love the pants. They are great in the field and serve well when we are not working as they double as very fine casual wear. The only thing all of us say is we wish they came in tan. Its a more versatile color and goes with everything.

Best pants you can get ?

May 30, 2012
Great pants that are made to use ! Love the rip-stop material that is not only really durable, it's very cool too on a hot day out in the woods. With the roomy pockets, and that goes for all of them, you can carry with you all you need for a long hike, or a day at work.

Great For The Harley

Oct 13, 2016
To be honest I bought these because I've been looking for new pants for when I ride. These pants are just the ticket, they are perfect for long or shot rides and they don't bind like jeans can. Iust make sure you order one inseem longer then you normally buy if you get them for riding. Live To Ride!

Great Value

Oct 31, 2012
Pants fit great. Similar products from other companies are a lot thinner & not as sturdy. These pants are a good value.

heavy duty

Apr 3, 2012
The pants were really well made. We washed them prior to wearing them, which soften them enough to make them comfortable. He loves them, and plans on wearing them for camp outs.

Ripstop Ranger / Carpenter Pants

Dec 4, 2010
Very well made good fitting durable pants. Unique design and style. Wrangler needs to have more colors and styles available in there Riggs Ripstop Ranger and Carpenter pants line. Right now they have a very limited selection. I would to buy more of the Ripstop pants in other colors.

Great and durable!

Feb 16, 2011
These fit me true to size and are built tough. If new colors become available I will buy more!

no I would not buy again

Jun 16, 2018
If these are made with 100 % cotton it gets hard after a washing and I ordered navy and the color is black

Have 5 pair

Dec 27, 2016
Great go to pants for me to work and stomp through the bushes! And Geri from Ohio these Ranger pants go up to waist size 60!! So I'm sure ordering them in 46 would not be a problem

As Expected

Jun 9, 2011
These are great work pants for my husband who works in construction. The fit is about perfect, although the waist sits a littler higher than he is used to and they are a little tighter than his other pants in the same size. I think they look great on him! Most of his work pants last about 1 year before they rip in the rear and at the knees, so we will see how these hold up. First time getting him Wranglers. They were reccomended by my brother who is also in construction, so we are hoping they last 1 year or longer! They are priced less than the usual work pants we buy, but the quality seems the same! We have high hopes for these becoming my husbands new work pants of choice! Thanks Wrangler for a great product!

Good qualtiy jeans

Oct 20, 2010
These are great pants. I was surprised by the quality. They run a bit bigger then expected. Great fit through the thighs and butt! Will order again.

Fabric is too stiff

Aug 31, 2012
The fabric is too stiff, I hoped they would relax after several washings, not so. I have had two pair now for six months and they are still too stiff to put on and move around with comfort The cargo pockets have the bellows sown closed at the top of the pocket making the cargo pockets difficult to use. The two small pockets on one cargo pocket too small to be useful and have no bellows or extra materiel to open them up so they lie flat.

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Sep 12, 2012
I OWN A SMALL REMODELING COMPANY AND A FRIEND OF MINE HAD A PAIR ON AND SAID HE SWORE THAT THEY ARE THE BEST SO I PURCHASED A PAIR 2 YEARS AGO AND NOW I HAVE A WHOLE DRAWER FULL OF THEM! I NO LONGER WEAR JEANS. I AM ALSO GOING TO CHECK TO SEE IF THEY MAKE THEM IN SHORTS TOO FOR THE SUMMER.

more colors needed

May 12, 2012
great pair of work pants more colors too choose from would be great and make the stuff in america would be even better

I continually buy these

Oct 13, 2017
I used to use carhart onlly. Then tried a pair of these pants and haven't gone back. They will rip... On nails! My tool belt will make the buttons show through on the cargo pockets and the knees will wear out. The crouch, my biggest concern, has never ripped! I put real life wear on one pair at a time five days a week. Each pair lasts about 3 months. Well worth the price. Good work pant

these pants are great, i have spent 10 yrs in the...

Oct 6, 2010
these pants are great, i have spent 10 yrs in the military and we had 2 types of uniforms summer and winter. these pants are made of the same material that were used in the summer uniforms. very durable.

Wearability

May 8, 2013
These pants have performed better than any other pants I have used for work. I spend a lot of time on my knees and they hardly show wear. Great value.

Love the features

Dec 6, 2012
I like the features & the only flaw is the 3 pocket feature on the right pant leg doesn't allow for an iPhone to small. Other then that I really like pants. Wish you had this version in a lite weight jean, heavy weight jean and maybe any one of the 3 versions that were lined w/ a cotton lining for warmth.

Good so far

Aug 11, 2017
I purchased these as a lighter alternative to the carharts I normally wear. They are comfortable an fit nice. There seems to be more loose threads than I'm use to. The one improvement I would make is to have more rigidity to the leather patch maybe have it to continue into the pocket to actually protect from tape clips, it's kinda just for show.

Definatly not made for someone who works.

May 31, 2017
My husband wore these pants Maybe 4times. He was so happy with the way they looked and fit he only wore them to town. The other day he decided to go out and put gasoline in his motorcycle and got a few small drips down the front of the pants. With normal pants this would not be a problem. With this type of material, the material literally begun to disintegrate. He is pretty disappointed as am I considering the amount of money we paid for these.

Cargo pants

May 15, 2010
Excellent quality for the price you pay. They wash extremely well....My husband loked them so much he ordered 2 more pair....

Second set of Riggs Pants.

Apr 10, 2017
Just ordered 5 more pair of Riggs Work Pants. The original Pants held up pretty well, after about a year of heavy use the crotch seam started to let loose. My only problem is I have rather large thighs and would like a little more room. If I get a big enough size for my thighs, the waist is huge. This is my first week with my new Pants, still pretty stiff. Seems like the quality is the same as other brands. I will know more in a year or so.

Very good cargo pants

May 13, 2017
I have been looking for a good pairs of cargo jeans for a while now. These fit the bill. While they are not blue jeans, they are a sturdy pair of Wrangler quality pants with cargo pockets. They are comfortable and fit consistent with Wrangler jeans sizing. They are more expensive than Wrangler jeans, but provide additional storage and versatility compared to jeans. After wearing them for a few days, I have been very satisfied with them.

Riggs - My favorite pants

Dec 1, 2010
Love my new Riggs Rangers. The pocket scheme is perfect, like they were reading my mind. These pants fit my life work or play. Any chance of getting the ripstop fabric in camo?

I only buy wrangler.

Sep 30, 2018
Wrangler produces quality wear. Whether it's tops or bottoms.

I keep ordering more

Feb 10, 2011
I wear them most days.I like getting ripstop fabric in cotton because I live in a warm climate. I like the extras that add to the utility of the pants. They could be cut a little tighter and with a slightly higher waist. I also like the paint pant version without the cargo pockets. I own several of each style.

Worst clothing I have ever purchased!!! will never buy...

Jan 11, 2013
After wearing the carpenter pants for less than A month the pockets are getting holes in it and getting thin in other spots.I would understand if I was putting sharp objects or overloading the pockets. All I have put in that pocket is my cell phone. And it is not happening in just one pair of pants, It is happening in two pair of pants!!!

Good Value

Jan 14, 2010
Great pants, however the material is stiff, even after wasdhing and the waist size runs smaller than stated.

Great Pants

Oct 19, 2011
These are great pants...they wash and dry nicely, fit well, and hold up. The only change would be for Wrangle to realize there are short, big guys too and make them available an inch or two shorter

Great Pant

Feb 25, 2018
Excellent!!! Love them for work and play. Many complements from the ladies at work.

I've been buying these for a few years now.. they rock!

May 19, 2014
I'd point out, although not reflected on the website, they do come in black (something I'd long wanted) and a few other colors.... The only regret I have? I've gone down 4 inches in size, (more to come) and find that the small open cargo pockets apparently shrink as I do -- Sad, because the pocket for a size 50 pant was a perfect fit for my work radio, and a size 46 pant makes me pop a few threads on the seam to get it in....

slate blue runs very small

Oct 31, 2015
The 30 X 30 slate blue pant is a at least a size smaller than the other colors of the same pant. The other colors fit fine, the slate blue won't even button!

Excellent

Feb 25, 2017
Other than the fit being on the tight side, these pants are perfect. I will be back for more.

Ranger Pants

Jan 28, 2011
Extremley durable work pants. Also great for hunting!!

small

May 10, 2010
I don't know what they're using to measure out these pants with, but I don't think its American inches. I've had plenty of Wrangler pants before, and they were all 34x34. I still wear jeans that are that size as well, but after reading some reviews, I went with a 36x34, and they're still a little tight for comfort. I know it will help once they break in, but they do run about a size and a half smaller than advertised. Other than that, they're a good pant, and seem to be pretty durable. They also seem to be a little warmer, or more insulating, than normal pants.

Riggs work wear ripstop big size

Nov 30, 2017
Please see if you guys can make the rigs ripstop big size work wear in the camo colors also that would be great and I'm sure you would get alot more sales with that product. Thank you

Well fitting, practical, good looking cargo pants.

Dec 9, 2013
I have only ONE complaint - I buy these for my partner and he loves everything about them except the colors! They do not match any shirt he owns - I had to buy him a bunch of new shirts in colors he dislikes just so he could wear the pants. How about some more colors - black, gray, denim, khaki - anything other than brown and the 2 variations on army green? These are great pants but deserve a better color selection because not everyone is going to want to wear the colors offered.

Nice pant

Oct 12, 2016
This pant is perfect for my everyday yard work . It has plenty of pockets that I can use for my gadgets especially my iPhone.

The best, most versatile pants you'll ever own!!!!!

Apr 13, 2017
The Rigg's Workwear Ranger Pants are the best pants you'll ever own. They wear like iron, almost indestructible, the fit is perfect, and extremely versatile. I wear them working in the yard, riding the motorcycle, or just knocking around town. Doubled knee, ripstop cotten, perfectly placed cargo pockets, and a wide belt loop. I won't t buy anything else but these.

Six pairs in one year, all ripped...

Sep 26, 2017
Wrangler, I write this review out of desperation. My husband is a carpenter and these pants are comfortable, practical (hammer loop on the right side) and the double knee that holds knee pads is a plus. Within the past year I have purchased 6 pairs of Wrangler Riggs Ripstop and each has torn, some within a month of purchase. With any other product I would easily see the first pair as a good reason to abandon that brand and find something better. The problem is that my husband really, really (obviously) prefers these pants. This is getting out of control and I just ordered our 7th pair online a few hours ago. We want to remain loyal but I'm ready to lose it over the quality here. Why is this happening? What can Wrangler do about it before I completely flip out and refuse to order new pants for my husband?!

Satisfied

Nov 16, 2015
Purchased 2 pair of these pants. Fit great and lightweight material cool during summer months. Wish that more colors came in the larger sizes. Length runs a little long but just cuff them. Would definitely buy again.

Will be ordering these again.

Feb 5, 2017
Ordered these for husband , after a friend of his had purchased some and they were pleased with them also.

One of the best work pants out there

Oct 29, 2016
Had them for a year finally had to buy new ones held up against anything that came my way as a construction worker

Pleasantly surprised

Dec 23, 2009
These pants really suit my need and seem to be a quality item. They fit well and are comfy. I like them enough to buy another pair.

Excellent work or everday wear

May 16, 2013
Just got two pair in for work and everyday wear and although I haven't really had time to make an accurate assessment. I can feel from the quality and fit that I won't be disappointed. One thing I would suggest for new pants is to burn off the excess strings left from the manufacturer with a Bic lighter. If the site lets me, I'll update this post as to feel and function during activity.

Ranger rip stop

May 3, 2012
I like the Ranger pants but I do prefer other style with less pockets. They both are very comfortable and durable.

I would buy this product again and again

Apr 12, 2010
I need the quality of a long lasting workpant. The Ripstop material is the greatest quality in these pants along with heavy material.

I own three pairs of these and will purchase more

Aug 3, 2011
Do you want work pants that can also double as casual pants - these are it. Comfortable on long drives (don't strangle you), hard-wearing and convenient (pockets where they should be and belt loops that take a real belt). I'm 85 kilos, 5'10" and take 35"W/30"Inseam - perfect!

Ranger Rip Stop pants

Mar 31, 2011
These pants were designed by a worker. Every feature is right where it should be. Great Value!

Riggs workwear!

Nov 27, 2016
Great heavy duty and well made pants!

Ranger Mens Pants w/Cargo pockets

Apr 6, 2010
My husband was extremely happy with the quality of construction and material - heavy duty. He wears size 34x30, size fits him but a little snugger then most 34x30, size 36 would be too large. (He's not allowed to gain any weight!) We recommend highly! (and I NEVER do reviews!). Carol L. - So. Calif.

Nice Pants

Feb 18, 2011
These pants are very nice. Great style and comfort. My only comment would be, I usually wear a 36 inseam in the 13mwz jeans and so I ordered a 36 inseam in these. They were longer than I expected. Have returned them and will order a 34 inseam. Waist sizing was good. Other than that I really liked the pants.

nice fit

Dec 12, 2011
I have been trying to find a paint that fit, looks nice, and is durable. It has been a long search and happy to say I have finally found what I have been looking for.

High visibility

Mar 12, 2018
I work in sheet metal and love the pants because when I wear jeans, over time, a hole is created at the knee. There is a hole in one of the legs in these pants but since it's doubled layered it hasn't gone through yet. My question is, I like high visibility, do you sell the same pants but with high visibility striping on them? If so, I would be interested in purchasing one.

My Pants are better than Jeans

Sep 25, 2010
The Ripstop Ranger pants are my new favorite construction clothes. They are durable, have lots of pockets and look nice. I feel comfortable wearing these in the field and in a Contractor/Architect meeting.

Second Pair -

Mar 3, 2017
When his first pair of RIGGS Workwear - Ranger Pant wore out, my son asked where he could get another pair. I bought his first pair from a national off-price store. I went on line to the WRANGLER site. I appreciate that the process of locating RIGGS Workwear was easy. My husband wrapped the pants as a gift for my son's birthday, while doing so, he decided he would like a pair of the Ranger Pant as well. I will be ordering his today.

I wish I had them longer

Dec 14, 2017
I wish I had them longer to give a good evaluation as to durability. Lots of pockets and extremely comfortable after they have been washed a couple of times. Yes: I would buy them again as long as they hold up., but they are a bit pricey Question, Enlighten me, what are the holes in the bottom of the knee for, I've never had pants that had them?

My Favorites

May 6, 2011
I ordered a pair of these jeans, and liked them so much I ordered two more. They're tough, relatively comfortable, and the pockets are great. I also like the way they look. These are the pants I wear whenever I can. I only wish there were more color options available.

I guess only fat dudes can be tall?

Aug 20, 2017
I'm a tall skinny guy (6'3" @ 165lbs) with a 36" inseam & 30.5" waist. I like to wear a 32" waisted pant for a roomier fit, but can never get the 36" length with small waist. Since not offered in my size, I can't really have a solid review of these pants. I sure wish pants were available to fit me & other tall skinny guys!

Took a chance, came out a winner.

Sep 25, 2012
Always looking for quality and utilitarian work trousers. You have a winner here. Lightweight but rip stock durable. Ample room for work positions.

Wrangler Ripstop Pants

Dec 30, 2010
Ripstop pant are a great buy, need to order one size up. I had read all the other reviews and still ordered the size I wear around the waist and beleve me, order the next size up. the length was good. Overall the pants are a great choice and I'm going to purchase a few more pairs, now I know what size to order.. Thanks Wranger for a good pair of rugget pant.

will not buy product again

Dec 5, 2017
not very well when wash frequently , material is great and feels durable but when washed about two to three times it gets real thin.. I am a heavy duty diesel mechanic and I need the room to move. I have already ripped four pairs out of eight that I purchased...

Great Pants - Good Value

Jan 28, 2010
Some of the best casual pants I have ever owned. Great for work or just out doing whatever.

I enjoy these pants.

Feb 14, 2013
Fit is very good, very comfortable,I will buy more of these pants.

Would buy again

Oct 28, 2011
The pants are of good quality the length is perfect if I have one complaint it would be the waist size runs small I ordered a 35 inch waist should have ordered 36

Wrangler Tactical Pants

May 14, 2011
I'm a tall guy (6'8") and can never find tactical pants that fit me (38x38). I liked the looks of the wrangler model, but they only offered it as close to what I needed in a 38x36 model...so I figured I give'em a try and see. If it didn't work, I'd send them back. When they arrived, I was shocked to find that they fit me perfectly! The fit is just right and the look was exactly what I was after. If you're a tall guy needed a great pair of tactical pants, give these a try as I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Outstanding pants!

Dec 4, 2011
By far the best and most comfortable work pants I have ever owned. Very well made, and look great. Like them so much I bought 5 pairs, and threw away my old work jeans.

As expected: They are Great!

Aug 11, 2017
Will be reordering again

Sons - Love

Aug 7, 2018
Bought these pants for both my sons. They really like them. They are very durable and well made. One of my kids is very rough on his clothes. These hold up better than any other pants we get for him.

Great Cargo Pants

Dec 30, 2009
These are the best fitting cargo pants that I have found. They are ideal for my job with multiple deep pockets for all the items that I use and conceal. Cell phone pocket works well and phone doesn't fall out. They look good on my thin frame.

Great work pants. ? Sizing.

Aug 29, 2018
I buy Wrangler jeans in 36X36 slim fit. Riggs in the same size were way too small in the waist. I’m afraid the next size up will fit like a tent

perfect work pants

Feb 26, 2015
These are just the pants I've needed all along. I wear 'em in the office and in the field. Looks good enough to wear with a tie (if you don't look too close) and easily puts up with all the edgy stuff I cram in my pockets. I wish there were more colors to choose from.

7 Belt loops, long live!!

Mar 1, 2018
I like the line of Wrangler cargo pants because they have 7 belt loops rather than the typical 5. They also fit well, well and are durable. The online pictures of some of the cargo pants show 5 belt loops now, but when I order them, they arrive with 7 belt loops. If I were to receive a pair with only 5 belt loops, I would figure an era had come to an end and might stop buying them. Also, I ordered the slate color of cargo pant expecting a lighter gray to show up. Instead I got a dark green/gray. Upon examining with online pictures, I can see how that might be. But I was envisioning a lighter gray. I already have several pair of green ones.

Riggs RipStop Pants

Jan 3, 2011
My boyfriend is a hard-working union electrician. He found these pants and fell in love with them. They are durable, they have many pockets for all different size tools, and they are comfortable for him to wear while moving around all day. The next time he went back to the same store he couldn't find them but they were already his favorite work pants (and even when he's NOT at work pants). I found them on the website in 2 other colors and he was beyond excited to find them under the Christmas tree. Needless to say, we'll probably be buying more of them in 2011. Oh, and when these pants are clean, they are nice enough to wear casually with a button-down.

Not wearing very well

May 2, 2017
I bought about 10 pairs since Jan of 2017 for my son and husband. 2 pairs of my son's are already coming apart at the bottom of cargo pocket. They are suppose to have a lifetime warranty. Would have thought they would last longer than 4 months.

T K

Feb 24, 2011
i can honestly say i love these pants, and i will recommend them to all my friends and anyone else that says anything about them.

wear like iron,comfortable,good pockets

Oct 29, 2015
these pants made for the guy always ready. pockets for all the stuff you need to take with you. they wear like iron and are very, very comfortable.

Product is good but....

Apr 21, 2014
I wear these pants for work, Monday to Friday. And they have held up great for the most part. The problems that I have with them are the belt loops that rip off after a month of wear, and then they tear in the crotch after 3 to 4 months hence I have to by more....it would be a good move if you tighten up both these problems...they are suppose to be work pants..no?...thanks

Good pants with some caveats

Mar 25, 2017
I am 6'5" tall, 220lbs. with 36" waist, 36" inseam, 26" quad, 17" calf, I have owned 6 pairs of these pants over the last 27 months. I bought 4 pairs initially in black, loden, slate and dark brown. The browns got taken at the laundry before the 1st year was up. The crotch gave out (more on that later) on the lodens after about 18 months, so I tossed them. I lost 40lbs. since purchase and re-bought the loden and dark brown in a smaller size. I use the pants for work and travel, as the pockets are very convenient and they are generally tough in the seat, thigh and knees. Not bad in hot summers, and good in winter if you layer some thermals underneath. A comfortable fit - not too baggy like some cargo pants. Frankly, these would be the perfect work pants if Wrangler fixed two issues: 1. The color fades significantly after the first wash and continues to fade noticeably after subsequent washes. 2. The front-most seam in the gusseted crotch has failed on all 6 pairs I have owned, separating in one or more places and eventually opening up to the point that I have to mend it (i'm no seamstress), or it completely rips open and become unwearable. This is not due to any crazy acrobatics on my part, as the rest of the stitching and material of the pants are still in really good shape by the time this crotch-fail eventually happens. Were it not for this one issue the lifetime of the pants would double. To be fair, I have gotten nearly 100 wears/pair so generally, I would recommend, but I have 4 other-wise perfectly good pairs of pants that have holes in the crotch.

Bury me in these pants

May 18, 2017
I am a commercial electrician that also does HVAC/R work. I am constantly kneeling bending and moving all day. Without a doubt these are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn. I have at least 30 pairs of other pants that may never get worn again. I currently have 12 pairs of the Riggs ripstops in various colors. I have never had any durability/stitching issues. I wear them every day at work and in casual settings. The cargo pockets have plenty of room. I am 6'6" and weigh 250 lbs and was told they made my tush look good. They dry fairly quickly if they get wet. I ordered some that were lined but they run a little smaller in the waist than the unlined. When I get grease/oil stains on them, I pretreat them with Dawn dish soap before I wash them and they look great again. Length is consistent with marked inseam size and I don't want them to shrink so I air dry them and Iron them to maintain the length.

Great Purchase

Dec 1, 2010
The pants are a great fit and very comfortable. Only wish they came in a black or dark grey so I could use them to replace my uniform pants.

pretty loose!

Feb 3, 2012
despite good material and construction this is very loose fitting. not suitable for slim folks!

Ok but need improvement

Sep 17, 2018
I have purchased approximately 12 pairs of these pant in the last 4-5 years. This pant is Ok but could your some improvement in material. I have every color and wear them everyday for 8-14hrs. Although I wear them everyday, I don't abuse them daily. They are comfortable and I find the leg pockets better in design than Carhartt ripstop cargo pant. The reason for the low marks is because I only get 2-3 years use out of them before holes start developing in the crotch. I understand that no material will lasts forever. I don't expect a pant to last in the knees or pockets due to use from working in the trades. But to have holes in a spot that every man protects diligently is inadequate. I am a veteran of the US ARMY and have BDU's of the same material, ripstop and never had holes develop in the crotch. I like the pant and have Carhartt ripstop cargo pants as well. I purchased replacements of each brand this past spring at the same time and found both to be made out of the same material in the same country, Nicaragua. I suspect that they come out of the same factory as well. Both brands where the same color green. My pros: Comfortable - The pant rides and moves in good form with body positioning. Design - The side leg pockets are better design than Carhartt due to having pleats to allow the pocket to expand and hold items. Carhartt lacks this feature and it causes the items to drag, ride, or press into your legs which is unpleasant. My cons: Durability - Wear holes in locations not found in other pants. Design - The pant could use 7 belt loops. Carhartt wins with having this feature.

Great. But found weaknesses

Jan 16, 2017
These cargo pants are the only product on my pants shelf other than 1 pair of blue jeans. It tells you how much I believe in the quality. I wear them 7 days a week in the field and in the laboratory. I am an R&D scientist and I wear theme to work due to the snap cargo pants and durability. However, in some of the very first pants I bought they ripped horizontally under the stitch line and the small right hand open pocket fatigued and ripped with only my small flashlight in my pocket. I almost sent them back for your quality people to look at, but instead kept them as panting pants or had my seamstress stitch a leather piece over the ripped area. That is the only reason I gave a 4 and not a five. They ripped where they probably should not have ripped. Can you make a blue jean cargo pant with the snap pockets?? That would be awesome!

I will continue to purchase these

Dec 10, 2017
I have previously used carharts cargo pants and in my line of work i was lucky to get 2 months out of them before i wore through the knees. I found these at a local store for the same price that i had been paying with better construction and materials. I have been using the same pair for 5 months now and expect that they will last several months more especially since i have since purchased 2 more pair for a little variety in color. The only suggestion i have is to make the slant pocket on the right side a little wider to accomodate a smart phone.

Ranger quality

Feb 10, 2017
Compaired to 5.11 Tactical for half the cost.

Good pants

Aug 28, 2015
I have had other pants in this fabric so I knew what to expect with the feel of the material. It feels thin but I assure other buyers that the fabric wears very well. The pants also breath much better than there heavy canvas counterparts.

Great work and casual wear pants.

Oct 22, 2011
Great mid-weight utility pants. The fit may be true to size or just snug on me. Definitely go up a size if carrying IWB. Fits belts up to 2". Plenty of cargo room and reinforced pockets in the rear with a leather patch to protect from premature wear from your knife (sorry southpaws). These feel like summer ripstop BDU bottoms but thicker. The front of the pants are double thick material and the cut is very relaxed with plenty of mobility. The pants dry fast. I cannot comment on longevity yet but I will assume these will last at least a year or two of constant wear and tear. Get a pair or five :)

Husband LOVES them!!

Apr 30, 2012
My husband tried many types of work pants, but these are the best so far. They fit very nice, are a great heavy duty quality, and look good to boot! We've bought many pairs already. He has to get them a size longer than normal to hang long enough over his boots. We wish the price was lower...seems a bit high, but really not too bad for the quality. Would totally recommend.

Falling Apart - One Season

Aug 6, 2017
These are marketed as durable. After one season I stopped counting at 8 holes that are just developing, not torn, just rotting away. All are around the pocket edges, crotch and along permenant creases the pants got during the first few washes. I was willing to overlook the hard creases but cant work in pants that have holes in the crotch. I am an electronics tech for the forest service. If electronic maintenance is too hard for Riggs you might want to market them differently. No ones rigging anything in these.

good pants

Nov 3, 2011
very good material, well made. fits like all foreign made cloths, could be too large or could be too small.

Poor fit

Dec 16, 2009
I wear a 33x32 and these pants are huge! The butt sags and the legs are WAY too big around my thigh. Plus, they are probably the heaviest pants I've ever owned, making them very uncomfortable I regret buying these and will probably never wear them.

Best pants I own

Jan 19, 2017
I have own theses pants for over a year, I originally bought them for hiking and fishing in the back country if California because I needed pants that would hold up to climbing over boulders and brush. But they are so comfortable and look so nice I wear them all the time and have bought several pair, I have also bought the carpenter style of the same pants. I highly recommend thease pants.

This is a great pant for the rugged worker or the...

Dec 31, 2013
These pants are very durable and are very comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

Best work pants ever!

Sep 9, 2009
This is my first Wrangler purchase, I have worn them all, and this is the best all-around pants made. Very pleased!

Just as I hoped

Nov 30, 2011
Great quality, fast shipping. Would order another pair.

Rangers are great!

Oct 19, 2012
I have fallen in love with these work pants. High quality construction, rugged material, comfortable standing, bending kneeling, squatting. These are quickly becoming my "Go-To" workwear, and are still classy enough to be worn to dinner and a movie. My only complaint would be that there is only 3 colors to choose from. (Would be great to see a Blue and a Black) Would love to see a jacket or a heavy work shirts made of the "Ranger" material.

Satisfied Shopper

Jan 6, 2010
I am extremely happy with the Ranger Rip Stop Jeans that I recently purchased on-line. They are just what I wanted in fit and style for work and for hunting and hiking.

The wrangler experience

Dec 27, 2010
I have purchased these pants before and just as last time I was not disappointed. I was a little apprehensive about ordering on line but it worked out well once I actually measured my waist. If these wear out I will be back for more!

Best pants ever

Nov 2, 2011
These are the best work pants I have found. They wear like iron!

Easy ordering

Dec 16, 2009
My son loves these pants, but I wasn't sure how to look them up online. This web site made it so easy to find exactly what I wanted. Ordering was even easier, they arrived just a few days after I placed the order, and my son was very surprised and happy...great pants....
