These boots are ok. I am definitely a lifelong Danner user after purchasing a pair of caliper work boots a year ago. I’d say I like the calipers over the vicious due to price and comfort but overall the vicious have been a solid choice. I don’t think you can go wrong with any pair of Danner work boots

I bought my first pair of Danner Vicious 4.5 Work Boots about 12 months ago. Wear them every day, working cattle, making hay, general farm jobs, often wet. They are very comfortable , with a great insole. They are very well made. The rubber sole appears very long lasting and leather upper hasn’t worn at all. Wouldn’t surprise if I get 2 or 3 years out of a pair. When ordering, best to order a half size bigger than your normal sizing.

I have been using this boot for work for 4 years. Always been a great boot. For some reason, this latest pair, is a 1/2 size to small.
