Great looking, fits well with a hoodie or sweatshirt. Its a loose fit, I'm slim 6" and a medium works great for me. For sure want to put a hoody/light jacket underneath this.

5'7" 165 ordered a medium. Quality is good and stiff. Definitely warm. Longer in the back as advertised and front length is perfect. But, the "loose fit" is way too big for me. I can completely overlap the front and it is bulging under the arms

Needless to say since it came in the mail he has worn it everyday to work with one of his carhartt hoodies, it’s perfect for fall weather on these chilly Michigan mornings! He loves it!! Once you find your perfect fitment of Carhartt clothing, stick to it. This fits perfect, not tight nor loose. Good with a flannel or other lightweight jackets underneath. Obviously the quality will outlast almost 100% of other brands so no worry there. 6'1", 210lb, no beer belly. Large Loose fit for everything

Awesome, my son loves it! I surprised him with it because he is always helping me out. He builds tile showers and installs granite countertops so he is in and out often. In the Wisconsin winters the vest works perfect to keep the core warm with the insulation layer. The back is extra long for coverage the zip up neck gives warmth and the large tall fit is perfect.

I bought one for myself. I saw it and had to have one. Loved it so I ordered another one same color for my son ( Army 1st Sgt.). I sent it to him , it’s wrapped so he will get it for Christmas. Only one problem, I tried to get my 1st responder discount/fire) , but the discount never showed. Oh well.

This is my husbands favorite vest. He has two and wears one of them every day in the winter. He is 6' and 200 lbs and wears a large tall.

The vest arrived right on time in a secure package. It’s a medium gray color. It’s very warm. I got a mans vest because I wanted it to be a little longer so it would cover my backside. Works just fine. I might even order another color.

Great vest from carhartt. Just careful when choosing a size they run big.

Very comfortable, fits well, but after less than a year, the lower part of the zipper has wore out/pulled away from the stitching. The zipper is the weakest part of the vest; way too light duty.

Grate quality and very comfortable vest won’t be my last one I purchase.

Great vest for working outdoors heavy and durable. The tail of the vest is long and covers your butt if thats a consideration in buying it. The sherpa lining is soft agasint your neck unlike some other vests that can rub your neck raw.

As mentioned, this vest is the usual good gear that I expect from Carhartt. I might say that it runs somewhat large - I had to return the size L and re-order a M...which fit perfectly.

last year for xmas, I was planning on getting this vest for my boyfriend. i sent a picture to my dad asking if he thought the style was nice, and he liked it so much, i decided to get one for him too. they both LOVE IT. my bf works in construction so this is perfect for wearing a long sleeve underneath and working in the morning on the job site. also perfect for winters in tahoe. my bf is usually a large and my dad is usually an xl; i got them both their sizes and they fit perfectly. a little shorter than i expected, but they don’t seem to care. men.

I'm 5'10 160 pounds, and large was perfect since I'm a plumber and I work outside I like to bundle up, so the large gives me that extra space, medium fitted good too but a bit tight with extra layers on

My boyfriend loves it!!! the color is so nice, and it's very convenient to layer, one thing is that there is weird gaps in the stitching on the tops of the pockets, not sure if on purpose but it's like a finger size hole

Overall good. This is a replacement for a very worn one. Key differnces are the lining is a 'pile' versus fabric; I expect the pile to get dirty and mat needing more washing. Second, in the older version there's an upper inside pocket with velcro. The new version has a lower pocket with a zipper. No where near as convenient for putting in or taking out; the old was a partial zip and with one hand break the velcro seal, slip in/out, reseal, now I need to unzip the entire jacket and take two hands to zip. Still seems good quality but function for a 'work vest' is less. Thanks,

I've wanted one of these vests for years! I'll say upfront ~ it was WELL worth the wait. First of all, this vest is one of the "loose fit" garments. I truly appreciate the cut of this vest. Rarely do I wear it zipped up, and the way it fits is perfect. I find this is the perfect outer layer with a flannel shirt or a hoodie, down to temps in the 20's to 40's. It's really that warm. When the temps plummet, just zip up for even more warmth! Another thing I appreciate are the pockets. I carry a lot of stuff, and this vest allows me to distribute the weight. The hand warmer pockets are Sherpa lined which is a huge plus for me. The outer front chest pocket as well as the two interior pockets are just perfect for daily carry items. The construction is typical bombproof Carhartt which we all expect. I'm hard on my clothes by I suspect I'll get years if not decades out of this vest. I'll close with this? there is NOTHING I don't like about this vest. If you're on the fence about getting one JUST DO IT!

This must be a joke?.. I have been trying to figure out where this vest is for weeks. I have called you guys three times and Purolator multiple times and now told it has been transferred to Canada Post. Not one of you have any idea where this vest is Absolutely the worst service ever!!! Never again will I purchase anything from Carhartt on line.

I wear a Medium Tall which is hard to find so I was thrilled to order my Carhartt vest in my size (I'm 6'2" and 180 lb). It arrived and I could tell it was too big, then trying it on I was completely floored at how enormous this vest is. Vest fits line an XL! Your sizes make no sense. This is the second return in the past month because of sizing issues. Very disappointed!

I'm 6'2", 225 and the large tall fits really well with a flannel, but would be too tight for a sweatshirt. It looks to be as well made as my Carhartt coat.

Deeper pockets would be better for cell phones and concealed carry.

This is the first vest my husband has worn and he absolutely loves it. It is warm and comfortable to wear while he is working in his shop.

Bought this for my son who normally wears an extra large, and that is the size that his work place supplied. It was huge so I ordered the large. It is loose enough to wear over some heavy layers. He likes it, but when you say loose fit it is no exaggeration. I would recommend with the caution that it does run super loose. It is sharp looking.

I am 6' 220 and I got the large size vest and it fits perfectly couldn't ask for more I usually go with XL clothing but glad I ordered the large vest. If you are about my size then try ording the large.
