They are the most comfortable boots I own they hold up to all the work I do at my barn and in the fired as a paramedic! The soles grip in the mud and on the streets. They help me with mucking out stalls. They never quit even when I want to during the work day and keep me comfortable and warm in winter and cool in summer. They don’t get sand or shavings in the tall boot and keep me dry in the rain!

The golden lizard emboss is exciting and fun to wear! Four pair of the Fat Baby II boots have I owned/own, yet these Babies are number one. Fit true to size and feel like a BF’nF right out of the box. Thank you, Ariat!

LOVE these boots! For some reason, the quality is inconsistent with the Black and Blue Ariat Fat Baby boots, but it's worth it to keep trying on pairs until you find a perfect one, because they will pay off in comfort and durability! I bought a few pairs in a few different colors for every oufit.

Well not happy about it they are nothing like my old pair the boots look like they came from china the leather upper looks like some man made material?? Why did you change them? I won't buy them online ever again. If you don't have them in your store I'm not buying them at all. I bought Ariat because of the fit and I'm just sad that you had to change your boot.

These boots have lasted me over 5 years! I have never had any issues with wearing them other than the usual wear and tear. The grip bottoms helped me when mucking my wet stalls. The waterproof outside kept my feet warm and dry. I feel that just about anyone can wear these for outside work or even working with horses. If you need a tough boot for anything these would be my go to boots always. Ariat boots have always been my most loved and used boots

I Love wearing my fat baby boots to work. I stand for a long time at my job being a CNA so I have 3 pairs of them to match my outfits. I would love to replace my black ones because I have worn down the soles on them. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a great boot to wear & stay comfortable.

Beautiful boots. If you have narrow heels, these may not be the boots for you. I put in heel grips and purchased footies with silicone heel grips and the heels are still roomy. That's ok. I will keep them. They are for dress-up, not for walking nor for work of any kind. Enjoy these fine boots!

I love these boots! I use them for pretty much everything - school, running errands, etc - and they are super comfortable walking shoes. They also work great for riding! I have wide feet with a high arch and finding shoes that work is always a challenge, but these boots come in wide and fit great! I’ve also gotten a lot of compliments on the style and color.

I have owned Justin and Ariat, Ariat boots have more comfort and last a lot longer. I still have the very first pair of Ariat boots I bought and that was 25 years ago. All over great brand.

This is my second pair of this style of boot. Used to buy another brand but the stitching kept on coming undone in the toe. These boots are great. I wear them all year and don't look after them very well but they just keep going. Warm, comfy and stylish (until i cover them in mud!)

I have a job were I'm on my feet all day long and even as brand new they didn't cause any problems. The heel did slip to start with as the information said it would and this has been reducing as I've worn them more. I do recommend boot socks, my socks kept heading south!! Great comfortable boots!

I love my fat babies. I have two pair. Black and light brown. They do run big for me anyways. I normally wear a 6 1/2 and I needed a 6. But if I was into thick socks then I would go my usual size.

The first day I got them I wore them to an event all day. My feet felt great! I work on concrete at my job so supportive footwear is imperative. Love the thick soles. I am in and out of cooling and freezing units all day. I also like to wear them with leggings and bunchy socks. I have received many compliments from co-workers. They don't realize they are a "western" boot.

Very comfortable product. Wore for a long period of time and it did not tire me. I like how comfortable it is for all day wear. I do wish the boot didn’t look as bulky in general, but other than that it was truly great. I think this product can be good for anyone looking for a comfortable, all day western boot. I have the Ariat ProBaby but wanted these also because they are shorter and black.  They fit perfectly (size 9) and I wore them without problems right out of the box.  I wear these as fashion boots and get compliments wherever I wear them, everyone wants to know were to get round toed cowboy boots and, of course, I refer them to Ariat and Shepler's.

I bought these Ariat Fatbaby boots for my wife ...perfect fit ...she loves them. She has 5 different pairs of these and uses them for work and play !

I've now worn these daily for months. Through all kinds of weather and have loved them. Took care of the leather and certainly can't find fault there. Had to give up on them though. The sole wore out before the leather.

This is my third pair of Fatbabies, and possibly my last. I love the thicker, more aggressive tread as I work 8.5 hours a day on concrete. Unfortunately these lasted less than 6 months this time before my feet were killing me again. They used to last me a year, I just had to buy new insoles a couple of times in between purchases, but even with new insoles, it’s not enough. I guess it’s time to find a new brand that will last.

Arrived in time and in perfect shape. Can’t say I am in love with them yet but it’s a personal opinion as the ankles are kinda wide but it’s the style I’m not used to

I received my fat baby boots about a week ago and I started wearing them immediately out to the barn to care for all the animals: horses, goats, and dogs. We live on a slope so I needed a boot that was comfortable like a sneaker. Every time I go out to the animals it’s like hiking. I normally wear a size 6, but as with sneakers, I ordered a size to a size and a half larger because your feet need room to swell when they are heated up. I orders a 7.5 wide and they are perfect! They are super comfortable and the tan color I got is the same color as our dusty, dry Colorado mountain dirt. I need to buy some long socks to wear with them so the sides of the boots don’t rub my legs. For now I’m wearing my ski socks and they work just fine, although they’re a little warm. I would definitely buy another pair. They are excellent! Thanks Ariat!

I have been wearing this particular style of boot for close to 15 years. I have own several different pairs. I wear these boots for Riding horses, yard work, going to the store, and going to work. Generally i can get 4 or 5 years out a pair before they fall apart. For as much as they cost i want quality not quantity. My last pair made it 4 years before the sole started separating. My newest pair i have had for around a year. You can that their insoles out and replace them with a different type which i do when they lose their cushion. All around they are awesome boots.

These are over all fantastic, comfortable boots. The only thing is make sure you have boot socks as I wore these the first day and they felt fantastic on my feet, but I came home with literally cuts in my legs where they rubbed on my lower calf when walking. I now have a lined scab on both legs. Learned my lesson. They fit loose in the leg but the movement of walking they keep hitting your legs. So be careful. As long as you have the right socks these boots are wonderful for your feet. Especially if you have sore heels or bottoms of your feet like I do, these are a life saver. I am going to buy another pair.

Fit is perfect and seems to run true to size. Comfortable the first time I wore them. My feet and legs were not tired at the end of the day. Lovely detailing on the all black boot. I was concerned my feet would look like shoe boxes with size 10 all black round toe boots, but they didn't or at least I didn't think so!!!

I have wide feet and a high arch and I am able to get these boots on with the side pull straps and my toes are not scrunched. They also have a great sole and lots of cushioning which make them very comfortable. Love them!

I am almost impossible to find shoes for. Nothing fits right. Everything about my foot is too skinny. I had been looking for months for a pair of shoes and had been to 15 different shoe stores in just a week and couldn't find anything that was comfortable. I had tried gym shoes and hiking boots. The last place I tried had me try on several different styles of boot, but I would walk right out of them. She found out that none of the boots actually touched my heal or the top of my foot so she ran back and got a pair of these and they were perfect. They actually hugged my foot and didn't slip off. I have the right amount of slip in the heal and my feet went from hurting constantly to not hurting at all. My back and knees don't hurt anymore either. These are the only pair of shoes I own so they are what I wear all of the time. I will be going back to get a second pair.

Ariat Fatbabies are my go to winter boots. I wear them all winter long. This purchase was my third pair, and I will continue to buy them, in all different colors! I have hallux rigidus in my right toe, and these do not aggravate my condition. It is difficult to find shoes that I can wear all day long. These do not disappoint.

The boots were okay. I have another pair of Ariats that are very comfy and very sharp looking. These were just okay.But I could tell they wouldnever becomfortable andthe right boot fit bigger thantheleftboot(?) I sent them back.

I bought them in the C width and they fit great. I have a strange foot, and did not realize the leather would be so hard. I read up on how to soften, and use steam to soften and then shape to my foot, they feel great, keep the feet warm, and are water proof thanks

I have bought these exact boots for 4 years now and I wear them every day until the tread is gone. I wear these as work boots around horses and love that they’re cute enough to head out for some drinks. I have terrible bunions and these are the only boots comfortable enough for me to stand in for 12+ hours. Great tread is good in ice and mud. Love these boots

Supposed to be a “wide width” I can’t get my foot to go past the bend. I purchased two pairs of boots the brown ones are great. This is the second pair of this boot I’ve purchased and these are even a size bigger but they are going back.

I have had these boots for over a month and have worn them at least 3-4 times a week. They are very comfortable and can be worn all day long. They felt great the first time I put them on. The leather is a very high quality.

First thing ..... I love Sheplers!! But unfortunately due to no fault of the store the left boot had a slight defect. The arch was thicker and harder than the right boot. It hurt my foot and could not walk comfortably. I spoke to customer service and they told me I could return. The boots are in the mail being returned. They even paid for return shipping. (This is the 1st time ever I’ve had any problems with this boot.) YES I WILL BUY FROM AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you for excellent customer service.

The boots are gorgeous and comfortable but you need long socks that don't fall down. There are tags inside each boots which will rub against your leg and hurt if your socks are not long enough or fall down. Other than that they are great: comfy, stylish, and good quality. They take some getting used to because they are chunkier than most of my boots but I do like them a lot. I wish those irritating tags were not there though!

I now own 2 pair of Ariat Fat Baby boots, a tan pair, and these. I love, love, love my fat babies! These boots offer comfort, style, and the fit is perfect!

I have bought several pairs of these and worn them for years. My favorite boot ever to date. Very lightweight, comfortable and great for doing property maintenance and grounds work which is what I do. The only points I wish Ariat would handle are: 1) The tread wears off and then they are extremely slippery on wet concrete. 2) I wish they came in just plain black without the various colors as it is a key element when I uniform the people that work with me.

I normally go through my boots every 6months, wearing them to work to farming they handle all the hours they have on them. They are comfortable and not to mention affordable . The only thing I wish was different is the they do not carry wide in women’s boots.
