These are very comfortable and fit as expected. The only small issue is that these are very shiny out of the box. They look like dress boots until you wear them a few times. After about a week, these have the worn/distressed look that is pictured on the site. Don’t be shocked like I was

I've not worn cowboy boots since I was a kid. After trying my father's Ramblers for a week, I got my own pair for my birthday. I really appreciate the worn, rustic look. Gives them much more character, a lot like a well worn blued six gun. They already feel broken in, and I find I never want to take them off. With boot socks it feels like wearing a nice pair of slippers! Granted, they are harder to run in than running shoes (I have a son to chase after), and for extended trail hiking a dedicated hiking shoe is best (did some light hiking today in the NC Appalachians with them and they did great), but for all around comfort they are tough to beat. Especially in the winter, they keep your ankles much warmer than sneakers. I found they run slightly big (half size or so), but I wanted to wear nice thick soft boot socks with mine, so I ordered my normal running shoe size (12). Now I'm wanting to order a black pair to go with the Earths. And I might start ordering spares every year in case these are ever discontinued. Fantastic boots, 10 stars out of five!

I have worn cowboy boots for 35 years. The Rambler is the best boot I have owned. Actually now have two pairs. Comfortable, true to size and a classic look. The outer soles are well made and show now wear, even in tough conditions. I highly recommend these boots!

No break in needed put em on and ride. They do run big I normally wear 11.5 but I bought 10.5 EE and they feel better than my tennis shoes.

I bought these boots for my boyfriend because he was complaining about his back hurting after standing in a pair of Justin boots at work all day. He has not complained about back pain since and has had them for a little over 4 months now! I would like to add that they do run a little snug in the width but I was told the more you wear them the more comfortable they become.

These boots are comfortable, good for working and like to get dirty then clean up well for a nite out two stepping.As they are they are ugly but with a little elbowgrease you can have avery comfortable boot that looks like high end.Here's how to do it, first of all the leather is quality but with an ugly finish so what you want to do to have your one of kind boot is apply a dark brown shoe polish and work it in,(DO NOT POLISH THE UPPER), it will take probably the hole can, pay special attention to the toe area so if your military or ex and know how to apply a spit shine you will want to do this, the toe seems to be the worst, after that apply light brown polish for maintenance.So there you have it, you can take these extremely comfortable boots and make them look good.

I loved these boots as soon as I put them on...take two steps and realize something is wrong. The forefoot and length fit perfectly. The heel issowidei canput my fingersbetween my heel and boot andnot eventouchmy heel. It's like the heel is two sizes two wide.

Love the boot! Did buy them a size small. Tight at first but after a few weeks because more comfortable. They look a whole lot better once you waterproof/protect them with a leather oil, a bit darker. My only flaw is a minor squeek in the left heal. Hopping it goes away soon!

Never owned a pair of boots, ever. Then, one day, I decided I wanted a pair after living in Texas for 6 years. I am not what you would call a cowboy by any means as i grew up in Chicago. The only cow i saw was sitting in a plate next to a side of baked potato andblood(rare)... They look great out of the box with a dark weathered look. I usually wear 12.5/13 EE if I can. I ordered a 12 wide (EE) and they're great with a long boot sock and an ankle sock over those. I got some leather honey from Amazon and put it on there and had them soak it up. Made a great choice.
