Comfortable right out of the box. Great casual look. Sizing is right on the money.

This boot by Abilene is great, a nice distressed leather look. Not a shiny leather, it looks a little worn, kinda like a boot you've already been wearing for years. The leather is soft and felt perfect from the very first time I put them on, no hot spots, and this leather will adjust to each foots shape. (not a real hard type of leather) My size is typically 10D, and these are true to that sizing, I ordered 10D and these fit great. The heal has a nice rubber cap, and the sole is rubber lined, "not leather", so the slip factor I've experienced with leather soles won't happen with these. I highly recommend this boot for a casual dressy look, and like with all my boots, these look best with jeans. (separately I also bought a pair of Abilene's Bison leather boot for riding, they fit equally as great) Abilene is my new favorite boot.

Top quality American made boots at a reasonable price. This is my second pair. Fit great, look great.
