These are really comfortable! I would recommend ordering a half size smaller than you normally wear. I'm normally a 9 1/2 and I think a 9 would have fit better.

These boots are absolutely comfortable! I have to wear insoles iin all my boots and shoes and sometimes it's to tight after I put them in. But not with these, and I still have room, their just right :)

I like the style of these boots, but they are built all wrong. There is so little room in the ankle that I could not force my heel past the top of the boot. It would have been the right size, but the ankle space was far too tight. I had to send them back. Twisted X needs to rethink how much room is needed for people to pull on boots.

These boots are amazing! Well made, stylish and comfortable. I love them already. Great for walking and outdoor work, and good enough for social events, when they become a thing again. I’m already considering buying a second pair to have in the closet for a few years down the road. The fit, for me, took a little time to dial in. For me, these run a full size larger. Although in reviews some have reported that the boots fit perfectly in your actual size, some have said that they run large, and for me that was the case. I first ordered my actual size, 9 1/2, and the boots were way too big. This is where Shepler’s excellent customer service kicked in. I returned the first pair and ordered a size 9, and they were still too large. I ended up ordering a third pair, size 8 1/2, and while they are still roomy, they are perfect. Sheplers stuck with me through the entire process of returns, always answered my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth. So if you’re reluctant to buy shoes or boots online, I’d say Sheplers is the place to do it. I’m really happy with my purchase, and will definitely buy from this company again.

These are the most comfortable boots. You can actually take them out of the box and they do not need broken in. I highly recommend them and the whole Twisted X Line!!

The boots are great and nice looking. But....I am a bigger girl and these boots are not for anyone who isn't a size 0. They are cut very small and I couldn't even get my foot down into the boot enough to even see if they were comfortable. I have never had any trouble finding boots that fit. I am returning.

I Love these boots, They are very comfortable, almost like sneakers. They are very well made, the leather is thick and stitched well. They are a little tight, I probably should have went up a whole size, I normally wear a 8 1/2 and I got a 9 in this boot, but it’s not so tight I need to return them either. AI can’t speak to longevity, because I have only had them a few weeks, but I love them so far.

Love these boots. They look great and feel great. No breaking in necessary, just slip them on and you are walking in comfort all day long.

I love these boots. This is the second pair I have purchased. I did not purchase the second pair because I needed them. The first pair I wear everyday and they are still like new. I purchased the second pair in case they discontinue them I will have them. These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They are like wearing comfy slippers. I get complimented on them every where I go. They are an all around boot. I wear them to the barn and out and about. My farrier had a pair and she told me about them and I ordered them. This is my 3rd pair of these exact boots. They are comfortable right out of the box. Break in perfectly in about 3 times of wearing them. They are mildly water resistant but do not hold up well if you go through water on a regular basis. One pair started squeaking after crossing a wet field daily for 3 weeks. The other pair the soul started separating on the side after approximately 12 mo of heavy wear. I still love these boots as far as comfort goes they are the best.

These boots are so very comfortable and light , like walking on clouds if you could !! They are so ideal for a work place of concrete floors that you have to walk on 8 to 10 hours a day.

put them on right out of the box and they feel great! they run a tad bigger probably because the toe area is round and a bit wider but my toes like the extra room. stylish, cute, sturdy boots...i can wear them while working in the yard or while out about town. no regret purchase.

This is my second pair of this style twisted X. I wear them to feed and clean the barn. They make the best barn boots, so comfortable and the fit is perfect. It feels like wearing sneakers to the barn but with the protection of a boot. And waterproof!

SO COMFORTABLE! Lots of room in the toe box. I wore them all day from day 1 and they are wonderful. The sole flares out a little bit side-to-side, so you feel very stable, and the slightly upturned toe is great for slightly clumsy people like me. Super cute, too.

I am very very happy with the Twisted X all around boots. I purchased these to wear for my job at the garden center. So far..the traction necessary is superb..they are Durable..Great support..i feel very grounded in this boot and the comfort level is wonderful..I do suffer from plantar fascia and I am able to put my insoles in them which is a huge bonus. They are also adorable..they look great with all my Jeans from boot cut to skinny..and I cannot wait to wear them with my sun dresses and shorts when the weather warms up! I highly recomend!

These are the all around best, most comfortable ranch boots that I have found! They run large but bought a 1/2 size smaller and fit perfectly. Not only do they look nice but are work horses. Just wish they were waterproof!

I love these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box and they look great. Before ordering online, I tried to buy them at a store in my home town but they didn't have my size. The clerk told me she wouldn't recommend buying without trying them on first because the sizing ran odd. I didn't find that to be the case. I ordered the size I usually wear and they fit perfectly.

Delivery was quick, and purchase was easy. Will be purchasing more.

These are not the prettiest boots I've ever bought (lol) but they are exactly what I wanted them to be...rugged, comfortable, and durable. I normally wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes but for whatever reason I ordered a size 8 in these boots, and they fit great...although they did give me some gnarly heel blisters. I wear them when I am working outside in the yard/garden. Would definitely buy again, and they are just fine as long as I don't forget to band-aid my heels before I put them on!

My Twisted X barn boots are terrific. I bought them true to size, and they fit perfectly. I am between a 7 and a 71/2, and I bought the 7 1/2. I thought I would need to "break them in" but they were comfortable from the moment I put them on without socks! I can wear them with or without socks, and they are so comfortable. Your foot does not slide forward, and they are comfortable to wear all day. Finally a really comfortable and well fitting barn boot that also looks terrific. They will be great for all four seasons.

if you wear a 9 in Ariat Terrains, then get a 9 in these. they have a bigger toe box but the rest of the fit is exactly like the terrains. very comfortable and snug around the ankle so you do not slide forward, easy to pull on, and i have Mortons Nueroma and these did NOT make my foot burn or go numb. after wearing slides all summer and fall, I finally found these and they are perfect! PLEASE dont stop making these!

I love these boots! I put them on and it’s almost like I’m not wearing any boots because they are so comfortable! The sole has traction like a hiking shoe so their not slippery at all. This will not be the last pair of these boots that I buy. I would recommend buying boots like these to everyone!
