These boots are the most comfortable pair of boots I own. Not even my thorogood mock toes are as comfortable. The color is great and they fit like my other thorogoods. I wear a 12 in most sneakers and a 11 wide in Thorogoods fits me great. Love these boots so glad Thorogood brought them back.

Finding these was a nice surprise. I have had a pair of White's lace-to-toe boots for 20+ years and they are fantastic, but honestly overkill for a lot of jobs. I really like the lace-to-toe design though, b/c it's much more adjustable than standard lacing and holds your whole foot snugly so you're more anchored. But it's not common. I ran into these and took a shot on them, and I'm very happy I did. The flat sole is more comfortable on flat ground/surfaces and the low-profile tread tracks a lot less dirt around. The quality of the construction and materials is high. And they are lightweight for a well-made work boot (at least, a lot lighter than White's). I found the insoles too cushy and replaced them with thinner ones, but for some people the extra padding will be a plus. Also replaced the laces with waxed ones as I find them to tighten and hold their position better. Haven't had the boots for long so can't speak directly to longevity, but I expect they will hold up well. In terms of fit, I have a somewhat wide foot and the EE width fits me very nicely, D would have been too narrow. I measured my foot and the Thorogood size chart suggested I should go 1/2 or a whole size down from my usual; I tried both and a whole size down was bang on the money. Lastly, very happy with Sheplers' customer service. The shipping was fast and the return and refund (for the size I sent back) was seamless. Very satisfied all around.

Great value; quality. Fit consistent with Thorogood Roofer boots i purchased decades ago (lace to toe looks cool, but fits my foot even better). I like the color. I own three pair of the older version; this lighter version is the best "Roofer" boot for me and most; I'd wished 20yrs ago that Thorogood's Roofer didn't have the double layer of leather riveted to the sides (unnecessary, if not roofing).
