I’ve tried 2 pairs of thorogoods. Garage both times

The boots were a good fit size 12, fit just like any other shoe. They were easy to break in only took a couple days the tounge is stiff at first but shapes nicely. The only thing that diss appointed were the laces though new were in rough shapes they seemed to be coming apart at the center right out of the box.

Great boots , but be ready for pain . With all thick heavy leather boots there is a break in period . The tongue on these boots is very thick. So if you have small bones ankles like me make sure you wear them loose for the 1st 2 weeks. I’m a true believer in great boots are supposed to be painful during the break in period

Always bought Ariat boots for work. This go around I tried Thorogood and am completely satisfied with my purchase. Fits true to the size. Very comfortable, durable and looks great. You cannot go wrong with this purchase and I highly recommend. Icing on the cake is they are made in America.

Initially hurt my ankle due to the way the boot is made. Broke them in so they fit comfortably now. They quality of the leather could be improved. I noticed abrasions on the top and front of the boot. within a week of wearing then. My previous thorogoods held up better to greater punishment. Feel warmer than my other thorogoods probably due to the waterproofing layer. This is nice in winter but not so in summer Very good grip this sole has. Better than the wedge.

Classic style boot, pretty comfortable and looks fresh..!!

I bought these boots online for my son who is a pipe fitter. The books looked great, however, when he tried them on he said they did not fit properly & the tongue of the boot felt weird on his foot. I would suggest if buying these boots go to a store & try them on first.

The way the tongue is made and attached there is pressure and rubbing put on your ankles when boots are laced up and tied making it extremely uncomfortable to wear

Don’t order online. Need to try them on before purchasing. Feet hurt for days after trying to break them in.
