I recently broke my ankle and the boots I had were not supportive enough to relieve my chronic pain. I bought these boots under review of a coworker and seeing the high ankle. It took a few days to break them in -- I would suggest 3-4 hours a day until they are completely broken in. They are heavier at first but you can get used to it quickly. They are already the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and my ankles never hurt anymore. I also have plantar fasciitis and my feet aren't as uncomfortable at the end of the day as they used to be. Highly recommend. I am a women's 8 and I got the 6.5!

The boot is highest quality and crafted well and really comfable summer boot. Been walking on the rocks and metal at work and im all smiles from my feet. Seem to also not be painful to break. Just to fit to size..

Just ordered my second pair. First pair proved they are well worth the money.

I've worn a few brands over the years, from blundstone,really,steelblue and by far these are the best quality, comfortable from the first day with only a little breaking in needed, they keep my feet safe and dry and also look great. My foreman even wants a pair now.

I was apprehensive about purchasing boots online but after down research, I took the chance. VERY happy with these boots and will definitely do it again. My Thorogood boots didn't need to be broke in. The are tough, comfortable, and I have no issues whatsoever with them. Highly recommend these!!

These are comfortable but like to pull my socks down. They have pretty decent cushion though. I don’t care for how it feels at the top or the boot around my ankles. Laces feel cheap.

Very comfortable with little to no break in after oil. Wide half size avalable + can change sole to accommodate step heel if you're on ladders often

Bought these for our son-in-law for Christmas. He wanted a good work boot that would support his ankles. He was thrilled with these. Very comfortable and good support.

These are like wearing slippers! I am a lady who works construction and has always had trouble finding good boots that fit. I prefer an 8 inch ankle, steel toe, lace up, EH rated, size 6.5 D, American made boot. Of all the brands and styles I have only ever found two. These are one of them, and the better of the two options. They have a very short break in period, maybe a few days. Excellent boot, I would highly recommend!

My very first pair of boots I bought myself, all other boots I had were boots handed down from my Padre. Wondeful boots that are very comfy, but my only complaint is that the tongue sits a little weird. Been wearing these for weeks to break them in and enjoyed it. They run a little small though so keep that in mind when sizing, I recommend a sizing chart.
