Good boots. Comfortable but taking off one star for price.

This is my first pair of Thorogood boots and I’m very impressed. I’d heard the quality was high but they still managed to exceeded my expectations.

I’m a union carpenter these last me a solid year and are the most comfortable i have found.

Fantastic boots - they look great and the lining gives a bit of extra padding to make them even more comfortable.

Nowhere on the listing did I see that they were safety toe. Other than that, they are nice boots.

I bought these online from bootbarn on the 23nd of September, looked great out of the box. Wore them inside the house before and after work to slowly break them in. Not as comfortable out of the box as everyone seems to suggest. My main issue was the gusseted tongue on one of my boots. The the inside liner on the back of the tongue has a fold in it due to how it was stitched. That fold rubs into my ankle and the top of my foot, it actually started fraying my sock. Due to it being stitched like that it cant be flattened or moved. My other boot isnt like that. Disappointing for a $300 pair of boots. I havent had a chance to break in these boots and work in them, so I cant give them a good review. Im going to return this pair in store and go from there.
