The hat is a great fit and will be a good companion on long hikes. I was a little disappointed in the chin strap. The way it afixed to the hat seemed to be a little cheep. The hole the strap was inserted through did not have gromets and the strap was simply tied with two knots at the brim as apposed to being threaded through and tied at the chin. That's just my thoughts.

This hat is perfect for everyday use. I wear it going to work (car to office) and all the time outside, going for walks, etc. It's done a good job in a light rain ( I haven't worn it in a heavy rain.) A coworker saw it and ordered one for himself the next day.

The stetson is a suprise gift for my brother-in-law for christmas, he has always wanted to be a cowboy and i know this will mean alot to him, this hat is perfect, had to buy one for myself.

The wife and I both got one of these.....very comfortable fit, excellent detailing and wonderful hat band. It is also waterproof. Affordable for a true Stetson......very pleased

Picture and color available was not the same. Mushroom was the only color available,wasn't sure what mushroom was but thought it was more tan . Wanted Tan but it's working out fine.

It's a decent hat. Not a fan of how the drawstring is built into the brim. More of a winter hat as well

Exactly as pictured, love owning my first Stetson. Wife loves it, very comfortable. Would look great in a grey butternut color too.

I wear this hat while directing traffic and i get a lot of compliments on the looks of the hat. The hat is great in rain or sun.

I use this for my "Sunday Go-to-Meeting" and other "wear clean clothes" activities hat. I've been complimented on it several times. I've only had it a short while but so far I like it very much. It's my second Stetson. It is my first hat with a "draw-string" and I find that awkward although others may not.

This was a wonderful and great looking hat. It is so special looking that it will make you want to wear it to bed. LOL.

I bought this hat to replace the same one I’d lost. I love the hat! This size extra small seems a little larger than my first one, but I slightly reshaped the crown and improved the fit. I’m hoping the adjustable rawhide strap softens up a little as it’s broken in, as it’s still a little scratchy. From experience, I’m sure the felt will soften with time. The mushroom color is very adaptable to any season. Since a trip back to the national park where I bought the first one isn’t possible right now, I’m happy to have found it online at your website.

It fits comfortable it’s lightweight. It has a chinstrap so you can take it off and wear it on your back you won’t have to carry it if it flies off you won’t lose it.

The hat is exquisite. The lanyard is terrible! It reflects very poorly on Stetson. Former "Santa Fe" hats had a fine rawhide lanyard with an attractive small wooden (or at the very least, plastic) slide. This hat had (I removed it immediately) rawhide, better suited for weaving a bull whip, and a grotesque spring loaded "stop" that one finds on parkas and mountain equipment. I will construct  my own if I wear the hat in a blizzard.

More sophisticated and pretty than it looks in the web. Ladies might love it too and above all it’s Made in the USA!

Quality hat that feels very comfortable Good value for the price. Glad to get a nice Stetson crushable and waterproof. Shipping was very fast and the entire purchase process was extremely smooth.

When opened I was immediately surprised to seethat the color was WAY off from the Sheplers'photo. I found another photo (independent from theirs, I think) and it too showed a MUCH LIGHTER color, close to a very light tan or greyish. The hat is very good; I already have the similar model in Black, but I have enough chocolate colored hats AND THAT IS NOT THE COLOR PICTURED. [...] Overall a 5 star rating not counting the color.

I'm very happy with this hat. The XL fits fine. I took a string measurement around my head, as per Sheplers' "how to" video.

I cruise, this hat takes no extra room, crush it into suitcase and it pops right back. If I dress casual, it fits. As attire dresses up for evening, it fits, even looks appropriate at poolside

This is not the first Stetson Crushable I have purchased but it was the first I gave as a gift. She opened it with her best friend and sister. It was an instant hit. Their favorite part was the wonderful detail work on the hatband. I looked at many other styles for this gift, but none suited her style as much as the Santa Fe by Stetson. I'd pay many times the bargin price at Sheplers to see the glee in that smile again.
