I usually buy at least one of these hats a year. Hubby has to have 2 at all times. He is a farmer and this is the only hat he will wear in warm weather. We're in the south so there's plenty of sun. Great protection from sunburn. His work hats take a beating. Sun, sweat, dirt, but they don't break down.

Its a stylish hat for casual wear--perfect for golf and outdoors and summer time day wear to keep the sun off and allow cool air in.

This is my second one. The first one wore out in a year with the thatched straw material breaking down on top where I grabbed it to take it on and off. I really liked the styling and the tie down which kept it on my head on windy days and while riding my bike. It breathes well and keeps my head cool.

Order size smaller.   Stiff front brim due to fabric sewn underneath.  Prevents flapping in wind, but does not give a "snappy" look.  Makes the brim flare stiffly outward on the sides. Stiff fabric overall, crushable.

Slightly large - or maybe my head is slightly too small. Bought some wool hat bands and now it fits perfectly.

Great hat fits just right and everybody wants one now. Only problem really is Boot Barn. Bought online and now I’m being peppered with emails. I did go in settings and turned off emails but they still keep coming. Now I’ll just have to block them.

I play a lot of golf and have used the Stetson Airway UV straw hat for years. It is a "distintive" look on the golf course for sure, but the protection from the sun and the coolness provided by the vented weaving, is a life-saver! Maybe literally. It has held up amazing well for a straw hat and I wouldn't think of playing in our hot and humidid climate without one!

This is the 2nd Airway UV I have purchased. The 1st was from a great, well known outfitter in Santa Barbara, CA. Upon close inspection of this Airway, I noticed several lesser quality touches. The hat brim (lower) is now glued vs. the more classy / finished looking stitch work of my 1st Stetson. The overall construction of the hat also appears less finished than the 1st Stetson. The initial Stetson was very long-lived. I do not have the same expectation for the latest acquisition.

Hat is perfect it is my 4th one, its who I bought it from ...they didn't send it in its box...didn't have the draw string tightner....Sheplers let me down big time ....last time for that!

This is a nice hat for folks like me who have a "moisture management problem" in other words, I sweat! I just wish someone would make a western hat with this type of construction. Until they do, folks at at the barn and on the lake fishing will wear this hat to keep cool.

The fit is accurate. People notice the hat and keep coming up asking, "don't I know you from somewhere?" I never attracted attention before. The hat is obviously an attention getter. It is nice and cool and gives lots of shade when I am working outside.

I wear this hat playing golf (three times a week) and any time I attend an outdoor activity, such as a Fair, block parties, etc. It is very comfortable. The only change to the hat I made was covering up the holes used for the chin strap. When the wind blew, it caused a whistle noise in my ears.

Fit was a little loose but the "hat man" at the local store in Mesa AZ fixed that right up. Very Pleased

The perfect summer hat. Looks smart and stays put even in our summer winds. I wear it gardening and walking the dog for effective sun protection. I couldn't be happier with my new Stetson.

I ordered this hat for my Father because he has had skin cancer on his head removed several times. He's a big golfer, and wears it all the time now with no worries. He has a small head, and it was hard to find a hat that came in a small size. It fits him just perfectly. He absolutely loves it! Best Fathers Day gift I ever gave him. Worth every penny, and the Stetson name was a big seller also.

I've worn my Stetson Airway UV Protection Straw Hat twice while mowing my lawn [total of 4 hours in direct sunlight] and it protected my face & neck from being sunburned. Breeze flowing through the hat's vents is an added bonus! And, the inside of my Stetson didn't get sweat stained. It still looks brand new. Football practices start tomorrow and I will be wearing my Stetson.

My husband loves this hat. It's the third one we've bought over the last 10-15 years. He's worn each one almost daily, and insists on getting the exact same kind when they wear out. I hope Stetson keeps making them and Sheplers keeps selling them!

I bought this hat and when I open the box there were 2 price tags inside the hat, $84.99 and $94.99 which is what it was advertised for and is what I paid. The hat was on sale at a $10 higher price than regular price. That’s advertising I guess. I have bought 5 hats from Boot Barn but never again.

The hat is fine, exactly what we expected since we've ordered it before. But, since hats don't come in quarter sizes anymore, I wish Shepler's would offer a felt band of some sort that goes in the inside liner to fill out the hat. Yes, I can go to the hardware or fabric store, but it would be better if it came with the hat.
