Thick, quality leather. They fit great and Iove them.

For someone with a high instep, these are great. The elastic at the side allows easy use.

This is the second pair of Ropers that I have ever owned. My first pair I still wear around the house and they are 10+ years old, the soles are still in excellent condition but the leather is showing wear with cracking. Only complaint I have with the new shoes are they seem to be heavy on the feet

They fit just like the other two pair I have purchased. I wear them everyday. I broke my foot and these are the only shoes that are comfortable.

I have been wearing this style for a long time. I had given up hope of ever findingmthes again. I love the fit and they are so comfortable.

Have been wearing for about a week. Feel stiff and heavy on my feet. Hope they become less stiff with time. Make lots of noise on wood floors. Nice roomy toe area and good arch support. A bit big, but I am wearing them with heavy socks, so they fit okay.

These shoes are sturdy and well made, but also super comfortable. They look great.

These shoes would be suitable for working around horses or in my case, donkeys except for the fact that the left shoe was at least a full size larger than the right. Labels both said 9… but no. Even with two thick socks I can’t stay in the left shoe. The right one fits okay, but I want to use both my feet. I wore these shoes out to the paddock as soon as I got them, so I feel I can’t return them. I’m so disappointed by the lack of quality control.

This is my second pair of my favorite shoe. These shoes make my feet happy! They are comfortable and are sized accurately. I was so excited when Shepler’s had them in stock and I was able to buy them online. They were shipped directly to my house and had dirt on them 15 minutes out of the box.

very durable, yet very uncomfortable due to the hardness of the sole and absolutely no comfort from insert. Hopefully, I will find an insert that makes wearing these shoes bearable.

The shoes are great but when they arrived the bag they came in was ripped open and the box was crushed and the shoes were out of the box.

These shoes are amazing for quality, sturdiness, and design. I expect them to last forever. An added bonus is that they're available in half-sizes.

This is my go-to work shoe. I am outdoors in southern California all day working with horses (not riding). They are sturdy and resistant to the soils of my job. When I come home they are super easy to slide off and leave outside. Comfortable from day one, they only get better with use and it's not until the insides wear through that I rotate my "clean" pair to become the barn shoes.

there is a small defect inside but fortunatly i could repair delivery fantastic (very quick)

These were comfortable right out of the box. I love slip-on shoes. They are nice looking leather and go great with jeans!!

I have never worn roper footwear as always have worn Ariat so didn’t know what to expect. Overall the shoes are okay but they do cause the soles of my feet to start hurting if I wear them for more than a couple of hours. With My Ariats I could wear them all day and never have foot pain. I bought these as they were half the price of the Ariats but Because they cause my feet to hurt I will never buy them again. They are made well, and the design is fine but they just are not that comfortable for me. If I could return them after wearing them as much as I have, I would. But since that’s not an option I will live with them for now until I break down and decide to buy a new pair of Ariarts.

This shoe rather amazed me when I received it. In today's market, the lighter the shoe, the better, so you can image my surprise when I lifted this shoe, and it was so heavy! But it is NOT a problem. These shoes are sturdy, fit like a glove, VERY comfortable and will definitely out outlive me, since I am 73. I wore them shopping yesterday, my legs and feet were not tired after the excursion. I wish they were a little more stylish, but style doesn't hold a candle to comfort. Very happy with them!

I have a pair of these slip on shoes that I have worn for years. They are still in good shape other than the material on the heal is wearing some. I wanted to get another pair just like these because I have enjoyed the comfort and long wear I've gotten from them.

I've had a few pairs of these shoes now, and they are great, durable, sturdy, comfortable slipons. I walk a lot in them, ride horses, step in and out of damp environments in them.
