This hat was bought for my 15 year old grandson as part of his Christmas gifts. He has become a Country Music fan and wanted the hat. Nicely made and should fit perfectly since it also fit my husband's head.

I recently purchase the hat and had to force the stampede through the eyelets thus causing damage to a good hat!!

I needed a new light color cowboy hat for the summer. My old one was badly worn out. I chose The Resistol, George Strait Hazer "Shantung Straw Cowboy Hat" (although I don't have a clue what "Shantung" means.) Basically, I was looking for a straw hat. I am pleased with it. Looks good, made very well and it is a good, quality hat. It fits surprisingly well. Extremely comfortable from day one. My only complaint is that coming from Resistol, and having paid a decent premium for the hat, it did NOT come packaged in one of Resistol's storage boxes. (Previous purchases did come in one). I would, however, buy it again.

The size suns small, very small. Most hats I wear a 71/4, but this hat hung over my ears. I HATE the stretchy cloth hat band. Use a leather hat band…please

Love the hat. High quality and everything I hoped it would be. It is, however, sized a little small. I carefully measured my head and ordered up 1/8th size thinking it would be a little large. It turns out it is just a good snug fit with the larger size. I would recommend anyone ordering one of these hats to go up at least 1/8th or even a 1/4 depending on how tight you like your hat to fit.

I just bought it and the size runs small compared to the higher quality fur/felt Resistol hats. Good hat just order a size bigger.

I have always worn a 7 1/4 size hat. I have returned two resistols due to size difference. 7 3/8 is definitely too large!
