I have narrow calves, my feet are long and very narrow, exactly 10 inches long, and I went with the size 9. I gravitate towards European made shoes because the feet tend to fit better, and I read these boots have more narrow calves (not an ideal boot for wide feet or wide calves). I found the calf to have ample room for me, and the feet fit perfectly. I really like the scalloped shaft, practical walking heel, and small ivory stars. I wore them for the first time to a western themed event with no blisters. I’m giving these a 4/5 overall review because I was disappointed with how the boots arrived, and because I was sent a pair that had been previously tried on (there were almost 10 pairs in the warehouse). I couldn’t trade them for an unworn pair in time for my event because these couldn’t be expedited, and these are unavailable in store. The boots arrived tossed in a plain boot barn box with no carrying handle, no tissue paper dividing the boots, no paper in the boots. They are pricey, so I was expecting a little more pomp and circumstance. The boots had heavy creasing in the feet, scrapes/scratches here and there, and light scuffing on the ball of the feet. I do wish I would have been sent a less flawed pair. All that said, I am so impressed with the craftsmanship that I would buy another pair (different colorway!) Kudos to Boot Barn for selling this brand. Hope to see more RR boots on the website!
