I bought this as an everyday jacket. It fits great, quality is excellent. Bonus feature, and one I searched for, concealed carry pocket! Great for a small personal protection weapon.

I have always had this style coat but in leather. I love leather but have changed my tune and saved $150 not going with similar style leather. First, the picture makes the coat look plastic. It looks sharp, feels sharp. It looks way more durable than leather. Definitely, my go-to coat. I used Outback's sizing chart and it is a perfect fit. They are right - oilskin is 100% waterproof. I tested it in all the rains we have had and not a drop...pants and boats soaked. Still need to check warmth but appears to be similar to my older (25 yrs) leather coat.

Nice coat for the money. Would've have given 5 stars, but snaps on the cuffs keep opening.

Great buy great jacket but picks up lint due to the weather treatment.

I like the coat but the zipper is a hassle. It takes between 15 seconds and a minute to get the zipper correctly set up to zip. It has a double zip feature, I've had coats like this before and the zipper always fails.

Just bought this jacket within the last month and love it. Looks great, super comfortable and very warm for Fall days in older climates. I would highly recommend the jacket and the great service from Sheplers. I wouldn't hesitate to buy there again!

very nice jacket, however, the only problem I have is the weapon's pocket. the elastic band that holds the weapon in place in the pocket is less to be desired. my front sight seems to get hung up on the band, making it difficult to quickly removing/drawling my weapon - not sure of a remedy. would also be nice to have access to your weapon from the outside pockets as well as the inside pockets. other than that - yep - nice jacket............
