The heal slips a bit and I thought I might need to return them but the little paper in the box said this was normal, I am wearing extra thick ankle socks with these boots and they feel great with the thick comy sock, they fit perfect in the ball of the foot and look really great too.

I have a pair of Old West boots in black that I love since they fit wonderfully, but I have always wanted a light brown pair of distressed leather cowboy boots, and was so excited to find that Old West carries some. I have long legs, so I ordered this tall pair so I would look more balanced when I wear them with skirts. The height and color of this boot is PERFECT, but they show under my bootcut jeans. You can clearly see the outline of the boots.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and cannot keep them off. My boss even asked me if these were my favorite shoes. I tend to change it up daily, and I guess I have been wearing these a lot! At first my foot really slipped but within a week or so it felt nice. They are true to size. I'm happy with my purchase and glad I got them for such a great deal. #STEAL

I love these boots. They were my favorite looking boots I could find. They ended up being the cheapest witch was good for my pocket book but I am sad (because I love them) at how the leather peals off almost like paper on the toe if they get scratched. Not very high quality but a great starter boot. Very, very cute! I get comments on my boots all day long. I wear them with everything from a good pair of jeans to my Sunday best and I always look very cutting edge in style and my feet are always comfortable. Next time I will spend more money on my boot though. But these are well worth the money for sure. I am 5'4" 135lbs, a little thicker calves, and I can wear them with skinny jeans and also under jeans. They look GREAT with knee length skirts. I also have a high instep and they feel good on. I love them

these boots are nice and look great they are a little hard on the inside and rub my ankle a bit I am hoping with time they will wear in a little a soften up, they seem big in the heal at first but are narrow in toe so I did nt' want a smaller size, for the low price I would recomend these.

I bought these for my wife's Birthday and she's loves the boots and I also love how the look on her!!

These boots are great! They take a couple days of wear to fit well. I covered them with a water repellant to prevent water stains and soften the leather. Perfect to wear with jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, etc. I wear them everyday!

After initially ordering the wrong size (due to a miscalculation between Aussie and US shoe sizes)[...] received my size US9 (AU7.5) boots and I can't get over how soft they are! They are so comfy and soft - plus they look u-beaut! I tend to agree that you should order a half size smaller than your normal shoe size, but after sending one pair back[...]I'm happy to wear thick socks with my boots! And the colour is fantastic - can wear them with anything.

I LOVE the snip toe and style of these boots but they weren't great quality. Definitely order a half size smaller as they run large. I find them a tight fitting & I have narrow feet, finding most shoes/boots too wide. When saddle soaped, they do have an ok sheen to them, but the leather really is very poor on these boots & only the toes seem to polish well. Expect a few patchy blotches on them. Perhaps more polishes may help! Leather not very soft or pliable - that may come with time. I previously bought handmade spanish leather boots which were lush & soft in comparison & total comfort the instant I put them on, so this was a disappointing buy. Rough finish on the insides - no lining! I've yet to break them in as they're SO uncomfortable to wear, even round the house! Both heels rub on the insides due to the bad shape & the sole of one boot is shaped so bad in the arch, it's like something digging into my foot (nope, I don't have fallen arches!). They're too narrow to allow insoles to overcome this discomfort. Great style, but better suited to ladies with a full calf. I find them too wide for my skinny 31cm calfs. Would've sent them back but I live in Ireland. If you get a pair that don't have bad shaping or very rough on the inside, they'll probably fit like a dream. Wish I could be more positive as I so love the style!

Ahh i love these!!!! They came in a couple of days ago and I thought they were too small when I first put them on but they stretch really easily and brake in really well. I love these boots so mucch!!!!!!!! So ya I would just say they are true to size but you might want a half size larger. Also the toe part of the boots are narrow but the heel part is loose. It took a little while to get used to them but now I wear then EVERYWHERE

Color better than in catalogue; wonderful for dancing, goes with everything. I LOVE THEM... snip toe is cuter than pointy toe

I have pretty wide feet, so I ordered a size up and they fit pretty well. They're great, though! I get a lot of compliments on them and they go with just about anything.

These boots did not disappoint. I ordered a half size larger for a good fit, as recommended by a previous review, and it was a good suggestion. I wore them the first time to repeated compliments!

I received my boots today and I love them. When I first looked at them I thought they looked too narrow and long but as soon as I put them on they gave a little bit and the length didn't look so bad. The leather is very soft (but not too soft) and the colour is exactly like the picture. I was worried about what size to order because I live in Australia - exchanging isn't really a viable option because of postage...I wear a 8.5 to a 9 in Australia and after reading the reviews I ordered a 8.5 and am very glad I did. Also I got my boots exactly a week after I ordered them - very fast postage. Very very pleased...Thanks Sheplers!

These boots were super cute but, unfortunately, they looked way too big around my calf when I put them on so I sent them back. If they would've been just a bit narrower, I would have kept them and loved them!

I have wide calves so its hard for me to find boots that fit, so when I ordered these I had every intention on taking these to the shoe repair and having them stretched... No need at all! Ive gotten so many compliments as well. I want to buy a couple more pairs!

I bought these for the misses. First pair of boots shes ever owned. Was a bit leary, however, I have bought several boots from sheplers before for myself. For the money you just cant beat the deal. They are well made, and have broken in nicely. I would say if your on the fench- by em.

i throught the boot was very good a big narrow at first but once u wear them around they are really good and get ur size you are in australia
