Doesn’t hurt my feet

Apr 8, 2025
These boots are so extremely comfortable that I enjoy wearing them all day long

Not right for me.

Feb 16, 2023
Not a very comfortable boot for wearing on an 8 hr shift let alone walking around the house. I have worn many work boots in my life and found you get what you pay for; these boots were just not right for me. That said Muck makes great boots. These just missed the mark.

Perfect

Aug 26, 2023
A little heavy. But after about a 70hrs work week in them, I had gotten used to them and couldn’t even tell. They are comfortable they keep water out and my feet dry, I tied the laces once when I got them and have been able to easily slip them on and off which I like. as long as they last at least a year I would purchase them again.

Workboots

Nov 25, 2024
These are the only boots my hunny buys for work . They last longer then any other boot he has tried .

Just a couple notes for manufacturing

Nov 26, 2024
Needs quick ties and more padding under sole the top should be padded it rubs haven't broken it in yet so far great quality just not completely user friendly

Feel very comfortable. Great quality

Dec 19, 2020
Feel very comfortable. Great quality for a great price!

Bad craftsmanship

Jun 9, 2023
They look like they were well crafted but after less than a month the lace eyelet broke with normal use ... Really disappointed, I cannot lace them normally now.

Nice Boots!

Jun 18, 2021
I like these boots. They slip on and off easily but don't fall off my feet. Only thing keeping these from a 5 star rating is the right boot tends to dig into my foot. The tongue of the boot is a solid part of the boot so where it meets the rest of the boot, it just digs in a little. Keeping the laces loose at the bottom helps with that though.

Comfort all day

Oct 7, 2020
working outside most of the day- feet felt relaxed and not squished inside. They are somewhat heavy ... but no fatigue to wear them. I wish more Mucks would be like this My foot is wide and it us nearly impossible to find good fit, wide box and comfort at the same time. Please make mucks in wide!!!

I build basements and Muck

Apr 19, 2021
I build basements and Muck Boots are my favorite brand to work in !

Hands down the worst work boot

Oct 22, 2022
This boot is heavy, uncomfortable, takes on water, and falls apart when actually worked in. I bought these boots because of the reputation of Muck Boots and the nature of my work (brewery work, so an extremely wet environment all day 8-14 hrs. with periodic exposure to cleaning chemicals) This boot was awful from day one. I had to purchase and install 10mm (!) footbed risers just to keep the top of the boot from pinching because of the poor tongue design. Well at least that poor design is at the cost of making the boot waterproof, right? Wrong! This boot takes on water if you take a shot from a hose to the top of your foot or if you stand in water above the welt where the sole connects to the shoe. At only 6", some also comes in from the top with larger splashes, because these boots laces are only for decoration. They don't tighten the boot to your foot or ankle at all. All that water coming in was making the boots heavier than they already are! These are like working with ankle weights. I previously worked in construction boots, but the leather doesn't last long when exposed to the cleaning chemicals. These are easily twice the weight of my old boots, and when I'm finished for the day, three times the weight from all the water I've taken on. Whether from the moisture inside or the wear of them slipping around loose on my foot, or both, the neoprene lining is degrading and becoming embedded in my socks. Nice bright neon green flakes in my black wool socks that don't come out on washing. Bought a different pair of boots, not waterproof but at least light weight and comfortable, and worked in those until I found the boots I'm in now. These were my first, and most likely my last pair of Muck Boots based on my experience. I am unable to return these, as they were worn and worked in, but let this serve as a cautionary tale for anyone who actually wants to wear these for longer than 5 minutes or in environments that are actually wet and not just "mucky". A giant fail for the working man. Sizing seems accurate lengthwise, but I've put "runs large" because I could probably fit two of my feet in each boot before I put in more footbed material.

Fairly comfortable! right out of the box!

Aug 11, 2023
Pretty nice boots! Think they will be great for the winter!

The fourth time I tied

Oct 28, 2020
The fourth time I tied them the metal eyelet ripped out with the shoe lace.

My boots are already ripped

Apr 3, 2021
My boots are already ripped at the toe where you guys added the "lace holes" too. Would like to exchange for the slip on style

Awesome steel toe

Jan 30, 2021
One of the most comfortable pair ofsteel toe boots that I've owned. I can work for 10 hrs and they dont hurt my feet at all. Recommended to some friends already.

Good boot, fit true to size

May 21, 2023
Nice sturdy work boot; fit true to size. Steel toe not intrusive.

Feet still get cold

Mar 15, 2023
It's sturdy and fully waterproof but still gets the feet cold

Switching to chelsea

Mar 23, 2023
I wanted to try this boot over leathers because leathers only last me 4 - 6 months. Figured id try the lace up version for a more snug ankle fit over the chelsea but even though they are rubber they still broke at the bend above the toes. Going to try the chelsea version next in the seemingly endless pursuit for a good summer farm boot.

Another Great Muck Boot

Nov 13, 2020
Replaced an older pair of Muck boots with these and once again they deliver. Comfortable from day 1.

Not good

Dec 7, 2020
Put them on straight out of box, pulled laces tight and an eyelet broke. Put them back in box and sent them back. Not impressed. Seems like cheap craftsmanship

Chore classic 6” csa steel toe boot

Nov 4, 2022
No nonsense no treatment necessary boot and comfortable too

Great comfortable boot with the

Great comfortable boot with the benefit of ankle support.

Muck is so close!!

Jan 24, 2024
So when I first got my boots and wore them to work I really fell in love with them! Lightest boot I had ever wore. And the most comfortable by far. Now I work in northern Missouri and I'm a Union Mason Tender we spend most of the winter either walking around in nothing but mud or on frozen mud. After about a month of working in mud the suction from walking around in extrem muddy conditions caused the front section of the sole pulled apart. They must of already knew it was a weak point because that section of the sole has 4 nails in it to try and prevent that. But it still gave away. Luckily a far amount of industrial strength 6000 glue fixed it. But then a couple of months later the metal eye hole that the laces go through popped out. It's been almost 4 months now from date of purchase and I'm still wearing them and true to Muck standards they are the wormest, dryest boot on the market and lightest. But there attempt at the actual work boat still needs just a few tweeks before the will be durable enough to be a reliable pair of everyday all conditions work boot. I truly hope these minor issues get addressed because if and when they do I will never buy anything but them....

Slippery on certain surfaces, need half sizes...

Oct 20, 2020
They're certainly waterproof, that's for certain. I just tried them in a water containment area at work that keeps dangerous gases from leaking into the environment. They kept my feet dry all day. That's all the good I can say about them. They're not really worth the price if you ask me though. They should be cheaper. They slip on certain surfaces. It must be the material that the soles are made from but they're not that safe when I have to climb up grating type stairs for the tall containment tanks at work. There's also the elephant in the room... (No half size). Yes I said even though I knew it would probably be an issue because I wear a half size. The next size up would have been too large and clumsy on my job and the size down is just a tiny bit too snug and almost caused me a blister on the first day of wearing them. They're certainly waterproof but for that price I could have bought multiple pairs of steel toe gum boots. To wear for those special jobs at work. Now... my other work boots (shown in the photo) are roughly 75% waterproof, because the water eventually soaks through but they're steel toe and light and flexible and have the perfect size for me. They were also exactly the same price. Yet they are far better than these Muck boots I just bought. They were 4.5 shat boots because they simply won't slip on any surface. I think I'll skip buying "Muck" boots in the future. These Men's Chore Classic 6" CSA Steel Toe Muck brand boots are nothing more than glorified gum boots with a nicer liner. I'll never buy Muck boots again. I have to give them 2 stars though because my feed did stay dry.

Need some work

Nov 22, 2022
The boots do not get tight enough to tie them to my feet I work in mud and if I step into to deep of mud the boots come right off this is this is terrible because the boots have a lot of features that I need however, I would not recommend them or buy them again I would return them, but I’ve already worn them to work

Light weight, very comfortable, waterproof, and durable

Best Boot

Mar 14, 2025
Bought these in august and lasted me through the winter farm work, no signs of deterioration. Comfortable, easy to slip on, and I think they look cool. Can’t wait to wear them through the summer too.

TRULY REAL TUFF WATERPROOF WORKBOOT !!!

Sep 13, 2022
True all my years having to work all day in heavy rain . Having to step in deep water, mud, !@£¢, all day, I finally found a REAL FULL WATER PROOF working boot !! Stop your quest for better ! I use to work for septic services, I work now as a granite counter water polisher and my feet's are DRY !!! I was looking for a boot with the same mobility as a steeltoe work boot . i found it ! The day Muck will make a 8" laced boot like this one , i will jump on in ... or in it ;) GREAT WORK MUCK ! I have tried almost every very expensive ''waterproof'' boots. They all lasted 3 to 5 month MAX. Leather would deteriorate very fast . I have been truly testing those boots for 3 month now , and they don't show any sing of failing. I move a lot, flex a lot, on concrete floors and they are like new still. cheers all !
