The right boot is great, but the left boot makes my heel slide to the inside. I have 3 pairs of Merrells, this is the only pair that does this.

I’m in the landscaping field of work and opted for a comp toe boot for protection. The boot is attractive and my foot feels well protected. The boot is quite uncomfortable. The medium width of this boot is narrower than the fit of other models I have worn from Merrell, like the Moab line. I’ve worn these boots 5 days a week for 3 months now and I’ve stopped wearing them as I’m hard pressed to stay on my feet because of them. Finally, the breathability with this model does not seem to exist.

Bought these boots (in black) for duty boots as a firefighter on a Rescue Company. Love ‘em. Been a wearer of Merrell MOAB mids for hiking and western backcountry hunting for a few years. Now I made them my duty boots. Great for working on rope, side of a tower or hiking in a trail with all our gear for a rescue. Good comfort, great grip, good looks.

I’ve never had a problem with Merrell’s work line. I’ve never had to break in their boots. Their boots have always been comfortable. With all of this said, I’m terribly upset with my most recent purchase of these boots. I gave them a fair shake for a few weeks. The top of my right foot is constantly in pain. My left foot is in pain across the arch. The lace keeper on the tongue on the left boot came attached by about 3 threads and is about to fall off. I’m highly disappointed, and as a pro deal member, I doubt they will even do anything about this, as I have had problems with the pro deal program before. Especially since I’ve worn them for a few weeks hoping it would get better.

Comfortable shoes but my feet get very hot. The shoes do not breathe at all

I used to love Merrell boots. For some reason they are not as comfortable as they use to be ever since the moan line came about. When you stand you can feel the hole! Sorry Merrell

Built to last. Good support for my feet. Good no-slip tread. Light.

Junk. NO QUALITY CONTROL. Left boot was fine. Right boot was junk and unwearable. Composite toe was 1/2 inch lower on right boot than on left boot. Couldn't even walk with them on. Sending back for a refund.

the boots are a good wear. support is also good. comfort for walking and standing on hard surfaces

MERREL first purchase (always wear KEEN) i decided to try something different. this boot look sturdy and well design. I believe will help to support my ankles. 12 hours shift (forklif driver stand up) so i need a lot of cushion and support. BAD! BAD! the sole its soooooo stiff ! my feet hurts like mad man the whole shift, in between each break i had to take it off. im 8.5 true size.. read reviews ... true size. this boot runs like 9 9.5 i had so much room inside the boot i can move my feet inside.. like fish in a sea. talk with customers service and yeah im eligible to return the boots. fillup the form.. Merrel reply back and just said the fitment issue its not covered.... AND WHAT ABOUT THE COMFORT? never mention that point. so im stuck with this boots i won’t need it.... IM BACK TO KEEN...

Overpriced garbage shoes. Definitely not waterproof. Do not trust these on any long hike and not just this specific shoe, the entire brand. Overpriced trash.

I bought this pair to give my son for Christmas. I got him a pair last year also for Christmas and he loves him for work. I've worn these for several years and I convinced him to try them and he loves them too.

Very versatile...use them at work then go for a hike with my dog...love the comfort.

Boot fit true to size Merrel has quality products

hurt my feet boooooooooooooooooooo the boots look great and the fit is OK but after walking on them just a little bit the outside of my feet opposite side of the arch is painful

I wrote a review a year ago and did so too soon giving a 5*. I should have edited a long time ago, however, I am doing so now. I would now give this boot a 2.5-3* for a major factor. The positives first - Decently stylish and still very comfortable after a year of wearing 7 days a week and most days 12hrs. Cons - the first couple of weeks the laces would come undone/not firmly tightened, most likely due to the coating they put on them. That issue went away. Also, they need another loop hole on the top or more support. The “BIGGEST” issue, and I can’t drop just one star, is the smell these boots create. After two or three weeks my feet and shoes started to smell and obviously progressively worse over time. After a year my feet and shoes stink so bad. It must be from the synthetic materials they use and there is zero ability to breath. I have been wearing boots for years and all my other past boots of a different brand only slightly smelled after a year or more. I have washed, cleaned, put odor fighting substances to attempt to reduce or eliminate this issue, but with not with much luck. I don’t even need a new pair yet and they are still comfortable, but they definitely need to correct this issue.

Best work boots I’ve ever had. Extremely comfortable. I’m on my feet 60hrs plus and they feel like clouds. No break in period. Stylish too compared to other work boots. Awesome customer service. Will definitely purchase again.

Shoes are well built an nice but the insole is not good cusion.
