Nice looking hat but all glued items - hat band etc the glue had turned yellow and released.

When I wear this hat people stop me and ask me where is my horse, on what ranch do I work, and when is my next rodeo appearance!!!

Loose in box. Had to have local hat company reshape.

Bought this hat a month ago. Great fit, looks to be made well. Happy I got it.

The reason I gave it a two star rating is because the hat was crushed in shipment, so I don't know what else to say!

The hat looks nice but runs about a 1/4 smaller than the size on the hat it’s self. If I am going to wear it looks like I am going to need use a hat stretcher. I recommend a 1/4 inch bigger than normal.

The hat itself was in okay condition, but the shipping box it was sent in was terrible. The inside box was completely busted apart and the had band had completely came off and there was glue all over the hat. Took me awhile to get the glue off the hat and reglue the band back on.

The hat fit is write on, however the strap was not properly fasten to the had and the ban was coming off. Instead of returning I repaired it myself. Q,C department not very good.

Shepherd should offer hat sizers in their hat section. I alway purchase a hat slightly bigger and use a hat sizer to fit it properly. If it’s too small you need to stretch it. That doesn’t work so well.

This is my second Texas Rangers range-man's hat....they are fantastic! they never let me down....its sweet!

The hat is really nice looking. I was able to reshape the brim without much trouble at all. I do have one complaint. I wear a 7 3/8, ordered a 7 3/8 and received same. The hat is a little small. I have put a stretcher in it and I think it's going to be OK. It would be nice to see them offer a Long Oval.

The Masted Hatters "Captain" straw hat is very good looking. Since it is my first hat purchase from this manufacturer I'm not certain of the longevity, however I'm hoping it will be.

Keep making good hats, second hat i purchased, been threw sweat, heat, rain,cold,dust n dirt. Fits good and easy to wipe of dirt.a sturdier made hat but not uncomfortable.

Seems like they paid attention to detail. Very well made and finished.

I have been wearing it every day since I got it. It is not sweat staining like the Larry Mahan’s I got last time did. It fits well and seems to be a well made hat, even a little better quality than my Resistol, at a much better price.

Well made hat just sad the size was to small and I can only refund my order instead of exchange
