Levis are always a good fit

This is the first pair of jeans that REALLY fit my husband who needs a really slim fit- but not in the lo-rise!!

This is the best pair of jeans for casual and dress. I wish retail stores would carry in the stores.This jean is AAA+++.

I purchase these specific jeans for every holiday for my husband. He has only worn these since the 60s. Happy 73rd birthday honey!

Considering I ordered the wrong pair I am very pleased with them (will keep them) and would consider getting another for a backup.

when the jeans arrived they were two sizes bigger than what I ordered. They had the right size on the back on the jean but not what it said.

I've been a Levi's wearer for 40 years. I love 'em! The 517 is my favorite style as I wear boots much of the time. These jeans fit really well and look great. This is the "stretch" version of the 517. They're almost impossible to find in stores, so I was really pleased to find them online at Sheplers.

I've been buying the all cotton 517s for many years and I was basically satisfied. I wear them to work every day and usually on the weekends working around the house or riding my Harley. I gave the stretch version a try. WOW! I should have bought them years ago. Very comfortable and look great. Much more comfortable to bend down or kneel. I read someone got a pair with thin front pockets; not mine. The front pockets are thick durable material. The stitching looks first rate and very durable. I liked the first pair so much, I bought two more pairs. All 3 pairs fit great and are very comfortable. Its nice to have a waist band that gives a little. Buy with confidence.

They fit very comfortable.

They are softer and have a relex fit with out being bagge the Cotten and 34% Polyester fell confortable and are 14oz weight just .8oz under the stiff regular 517. I think this is a better buy for the Money

Bringe back the jeans "with a skoosh more room" Take off the size on the waist lable. Bring back the lable which was a thicker piece of leather.

I have worn these jeans for about 30 years. I prefer to wear them for good and then when they start to fade too much I wear them to work. I am a builder and they take a lot of abuse. Wouldn't wear anything else and had a really hard time when they stopped making them a couple of times. They are back to the right cut and material. I love them.

out of the last 7 pairs I received .one pair had two crease down both legs.three pairs the leg seams were sewed properly and 0ne pair the crease did a turn at the knee

I believe the 517's stretch boot cut are a great product.

These jeans are among my most favorites from levi's. the cut, style & fit is fantastic.Not too long ago, I was'nt aware how good stretch jeans can fit , feel & last .WOW what a surprise.These are great.That bit of stretch gives with ease of movment , Less shrinkage, nice firm fit ,lasts longer & can still look great with just about any style of boots to go with these.Great jeans Sheplers , keep-em-commin .

Ordered 4 pair size 34x34 All four are labeled 34x34. Actual length is a full two inches longer. Obviously labeled wrong at the factory, they are actually 34x36.

If you get a pair that fit right, they are great. However, my continued experience is that the inseams are always longer than the tag says. Bought 2 pair of 38x30 (517 stretch). One was 31 but the rest of fit was good so I am just having it tailored. The other was 32, fit wierd in the seat and the zipper was faulty - this is going back. They are great looking, do hold the nice color and last and are the only type of jeans I wear with my boots. Another brand I use for tennis shoes because of the straight leg and good, consistent fit.

Prefer stretch levis due to added comfort and flexibility.

THese are my husband's most favorite jeans. He doesn't like the baggy fit in the thighs, so the 'slim fit' is perfect for him.

We have purchased numerous pairs of these jeans over the years with never a problem. The order was received with no invoice or return instructions of any kind. Although the length has always been correct, this time both pairs of 31/32 jeans measure 33 inches at the inseam and will need to be altered in order to be worn comfortably. As my husband is quite slim, it is difficult to find jeans for him in most stores, which is why we have always been happy to use Sheplers as a source of jeans that usually are very satisfactory. It's just a bit disappointing!

Great jeans and a feel great on. The waist and inseam sizes are actually a little bigger than indicated; I normally wear a 35 inch waist and a 33 inch inseam in solid bootcut and I find that by ordering a size smaller (34 inch waist and 32 inch inseam) they fit perfectly.

These are hard to find jeans and the price was right.

These jeans are more comfortable and fit better than any others he's tried. They fit a slim build correctly but without being uncomfortable thanks to the stretch fabric. If you want a great looking pair of jeans that fit to a T and comfortable to boot, these will fit the bill.

One of my best ever pair of jeans. Fits so well. However it took very, very long to deliver. I wish I could have more of this same type or in other colours but they are not longer available for customer outside USA.

I have always had Levi's all my life and had the standard cut jeans ...but when you get older your body expands (surplus Fat!!!!)so i swithced to Stretch Jeans but can still use the same size....well done Levi!! The Levi's 517 stretch boot cut are the slim fit and are very tight I'm going to have to return them. I've gotten older and like the comfort better than the slim cuts. I've been wearing levijeans for 25 years and really like them. Anyone that's trim and slim I would highly recommend these jeans

I have bought streach jeans from other places and always had problems with size and lengthand had to have altered. This is the first time I got a perfict fit and shaply as well as comfortable. They were so good I have ordered 4 more pair. The service was great and they came in the mail before the time I believed they would. Glad I found this place to get perfict fit jeans fro a 6ft 1 guy! Shipped late. Quality control for Levis obviously having problems as 1 of 3 pairwas substansially smaller.

Quality is fine. But compared to a identical pair I have, the waist and hip were approximately 1" larger.

I am 70 years old and love to wear them gardening or working out in the yard.

I ordered 3 pair of these jeans in a 33X30 and the waist is somewhat larger but the legnth is way to long and I was hoping for a smaller butt size but that was large too. Are there any jeans for a man that hasn't got an oversized butt. I am so sick of seeing young and old men wearing jeans that don't fit the butt. I hought these jeans would be different. I should have ordered a 30X28!

Fantastic design and fantastic fit. The only downside is that it seem to shrink a little more than normal if you drum dry. If you do that it might be worth wile going up one size.

The jeans are the kind I really like. Really satisfied.

They wear great.....always comfortable.

These jeans give with body movement. The crease stays sharp, which is an old cowboy requirement. The color lasts. The Levi quality is there. Even when they are almost worn out, they still look like a comfortable, well-loved pair of jeans. Only thing I have a problem with is that they wear across the front of the thighs and the creases in the legs. That is where they first begin to get thin. I think that is due to the lycra in them. But, that is forgivable, as they are the most comfortable jeans on the planet. And, best of all, Scheplers price is right.

My husband has bought this same jean/style/size for YEARS as he is slim and these (used to) fit. We bought 2 pair recently and they are AWFUL. They are loose, baggy, very little stretch, and the denim is DIFFERENT - more like another brand rather than the Levis we are used to. He has tried to salvage them by boiling them to try to shrink them. They may be wearable, but still don't fit properly. Needless to say we are very disappointed and now have to start looking again for a jean that actually fits.

I only liked 501 (shrink to fit) Levi's jeans. I've received this 517 levi's jeans and I'm very pleased with the cut. It fits real good

Had been unable to find Levi's stretch denim in stores!

I love that the jeans have a permanent crease down the front making them a little more dressy. They hold their color for a good amount of time and the stretch makes them ultra comfotable.

I've never had stretch jeans before and was fairly skeptical, but ordered them at the urging of my wife. I was so surprised and have a new favorite jean. They are comfortable and look good. From here on out I'm only ordering stretch jeans.

These are way too stiff.  I washed them twice, and used extra softener, and it did not soften them enuf for my husband to enjoy wearing them.  I would never buy another pair of these.  They fit very well, tho.  The button kept unbuttoning as it was just not right.  They were so stiff they pushed the button rather than bending.

I have tried others, but Levis are the only jeans that I seem to find comfortable.

These jeans fit my husband to a "T". They are small in the seat which he needs, yet fit in thighs and legs.

I have been buying these jeans for years. I usually buy 3 to 4 pair at a time,.  Lately you have to buy 3 pair to 2 good pair free of defects. I just returned a pair that had flaws.  They usually have white spots where the dye did not take to the material.

I am a lifeguard and rescue diver, and LIVE in these Levis and in Water. Levis 517 have great construction and fit, which only improves when they are broken in -- in water. My 517's never see a washing machine nor dryer - and always maintain the same dependable, rugged 'swim-fit', as though they have memory.... and this is due to the way I break them in. First, I buy my waist size or a little more snug. Then, I add 2" to the length to allow for draw-up and shrinkage and tapered them to a 13.5 inch leg opening so they fit like men's 512 used to. All this creates a slim fit, snug/tight dive jean that is slightly stretchy and molds to your body to become your second skin in water -- and when worn dry. And, they retain their great fit and awesome good looks. Levis 517 are dependable water gear -- especially in open water and protect you from cuts, scrapes and stings, and excessive sun. Pair them with a lycra rash guard top or neoprene top and you have the famous "Top and Levis'. When it warms up, you can remove your top and swim in just your 517s and fins. And, they are essential poolside, too ... when I have pool deck duty, I wear can wear them with a sport coat or golf shirt for meetings -- but ditch the shirt and coat and dive into the deep end for a quick rescue or an assist. Levis 517's versatility keep you fully prepared to do water rescue in an instant - no more 'suiting up' which wastes valuable time. And, in water they move with you - you can do pike dives and flip turns with ease. I guess my only complaint is that the back pockets are a little too low, making it uncomfortable if you keep your wallet there when your are sitting.

Love these jeans-was told by others that Levi didn't make them anymore. Then I did some research and ran across them at Sheplers. Need to be careful as they tend to shrink up a little on the first wash. Only downside is that they don't come in black!

Levis 517 are a fantastic fit just enought stretch without loosing any shape. Found a pair at a garage sale for work. Fit so good I wanted more, and finally found them at Sheplers. The only place I found them. Plan to order more soon.

I wish Levi would make these in America. The size is not even close to being accurate. I wear a 32 -34 waist and a 36 inseam, so I bought a 34 and a 36 waist with a 34 inseam, thinking whichever fit I would exchange the other for the same size. What a thought. The inseam was GREAT!!!! The 36 didnt even come close to buttoning around my waist. I am tall and NOT fat!!!! So I sent them back for an exchange for a 38 waist. Haven't gotten them yet, will wait and see if these fit!!!

The jeans arrived when Sheplers said they would. I checked them over for flaws, and I could not find any. Washed them and they came out great and now ready to wear. I have not worn them yet, but have no worries as I have done this before with Sheplers.

BEEN WEARING JEANS THE MAJOR PART OF MY LIFE. I ALWAYS PREFERRED "LEVI'S" AS THEY ALWAYS LOOKED THE BEST, AND FITTED WELL. AS I'VE GROWN OLDER, (70), I'VE BEEN USING THE "STRETCH" TYPE. I NEED A 31 LENGHT, WHICH IS NOT PROVIDED, SO I MUST GET A 32, THEN PAY $10! TO HAVE THE SEAM TAKEN UP ONE INCH. HOWEVER, THE PAST 5+ YEARS THEY SEEM TO BE MADE OF INFERIOR MATERIAL, SINCE THE GET WORN OUT FASTER. I ASSUME THIS IS DONE ON PURPOSE FOR BETTER SALES, BUT NOT ACCEPTABLE BY THE CONSUMER

Great product, but i alway have to order a size bigger to make it fit RIGHT...the bootcut is more like a old style navy dungaree pants...

I like these jeans and they fit great. However they replaced exactly the same jeans in the same size due to the fact the first pair were miss-marked in the waist size by two inches too small. Hopefully this is not a common problem.

Yes, I would recommend these jeans to anyone. They're Levis. BUT, THEY ARE NOT STRETCH JEANS PER THEIR ADVERTISEMENT. They are just plain ol' Boot Cut jeans, Levis 517's. If there's any stretch in them, I'd like someone to show me where.

Husband likes to have a pair or two of blue jeans that are not faded and worn looking to wear to basketball games and such. These jeans always look nice. When they fade, after a long period of time, he wears them to mow the yard. They just fit his frame better than any other brand. Some have lots of excess material in the seat, and he doesn't have enough seat to fill them out. They look baggy. Levi's don't. These are not shrink to fit, they do not shrink, and have enough elastic in the fabric to make them look nice. You just about need to try a pair to find the right size, but once you have it, you are good to go.
