Beautiful boots! They fit like a glove and are so comfortable. Also, they are so versatile. I can wear them with dresses, skirts, and jeans. I am so happy they fit snug to my calves. I want them in every color they’ll come out on.

I bought these and love them. They have a perfect fit. Sometimes I buy wide sizes and these fit great. They look great with anything - dresses and jeans.

Love these boots, they are well made and comfortable and once on they fit great. My only beef is the ankles are super narrow and it’s HARD to get them on. Luckily, I have reasonably narrow feet and calves but If I had wide feet or even wide calves, they’d never work because from the ankle up they are tight.

Wanted boots that make a statement with out going over the top

This is the second pair of Lane Plain Janes that I’ve bought this year. I loved my pair so much that I bought this pair as a birthday gift for my 18 year old niece. A super special birthday gift is a must when you turn 18 and my surprise did not disappoint - she loves her pair as much as I love mine!! Beautifully made, incredibly comfortable and ruggedly sexy! Already planning for my next pair!

Bare with me... I was gifted a pair of these Lane boots (black) for Christmas by my amazing boyfriend. He bought directly from Lane and took the advise to size down. Great advise but he sized down... too down We returned them and went with another pair from boot barn. I decided to order a half size smaller but the first pair I received I couldn't get my foot past the heel. Located a store that had some in stock (mostly online only) so I could try them on. Found the same pair, in the same size and my foot slipped right in. These boots smell so amazing and the craftsmanship is just gorgeous. They are super roomy and comfortable. These are handmade so I'm guessing the first pair I tried were just a little off. Boot barn is why I took a star away... Boots are all worn from trying on, they don't carry "new" ones that aren't on the floor for purchase. They also throw away all the original boxes (Lane has some beautiful packaging) so they can provide their own box and that seems so wasteful. Lesson learned. Go to boot barn if you want to try them on but order from Lane directly. Price is higher on Lane but the service is better and you will unwrap a stunning pair of brand new boots!

I love these boots. They are beautiful and I am always excited to wear them but am afraid to wear them too much bc I don't want them to get ruined. If I could wear them everyday I would.. They are not good for a lot of walking though...The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc but one boot is slightly different than the other.. Its a little shorter and tighter so its a ​little harder to put on, I understand that is because they were hand made though..

Very good looking boots and comfortable. I wish they made them like this when I was a kid! The distressed leather is very stylish. And the bottoms are a cool turquoise. I am a 9 and that’s what I ordered so true to size. FYI - If you want less hassle getting tall boots off use a boot Jack!

I loved these boots, looked more beautiful in person than online, however when they arrived and I tried them on, I realized the ankle area is very narrow making impossible to pass my foot through. I'm not wide foot by any means, but those boots have a very tight ankle width. So disappointed that I had to return them.

Love them but very hard to get over my ankles and I have thin narrow feet. I have to wear them with barefeet or stockings, cannot wear with socks. I have tried a shoe horn, which doesn't help, you basically need to use your toes to help crawl your feet into the boot. Once you get past the ankle though there is plenty of room which is a shame as they would be nicer to wear with thin socks but I can't get the foot past the ankle if I have socks on :( Otherwise they are PERFECT and would of got 5 stars.
