First layer too tight

I love layered necklaces, and especially when they're already connected and quick to put on like this one. Loved the look, quality and style of this one, however the first layer was too tight...it just barely fit around my neck (I measured, my neck is 13.5 inches, I'm a regular sized person... 5' 7" size 12/14). I had to remove it to wear the other two necklaces. Would probably fit petite and smaller people well, but not anyone mid-sized or plus sized for sure. Would be nice to have necklaces in S/M and M/L for a better fit, same with bracelets.
