I have been a Die Hard Carhart fan for over 20 years. This "Hawx Crawford" purchase is my first from the brand, and I only bought it because I had an old gift card that I was trying to use up. Probably the most comfortable Jacket I have owned. This was so shockingly comfortable, I purchased another for a friend who immediately told me "I've got standards, If it's not Carhart then it's crap!". (He now wears his Hawx Crawford exclusively. Not flashy, but Fully Functional, Warm, and Comfortable. Time and durability will be the last factors to consider, as my last Carhart lasted for more than 15 years, and although it definitely got the job done, it was not ever a comfortable jacket. It was more like a rough tool to be used. I am truly hoping the Hawx has the durability/longevity of my last jacket. If they do, then Carhart better watch out, because Hawx just won my business and is making moves towards taking Carhart's title of Top Brand.
