The Sole
Risky
Feb 20, 2019
The sole is like wearing ice skates! How could you ruin such a great boot with such a hard sole just to save money. I recommend that you change your sole back to the real rubber that is like walking on air. How could you ruin something so perfect.

The laces do not stay as tight as I would like

Great boot, looking to see if I can find waxed laces to keep them tighter. Through out a 8-12 hr work day they tend to lossen up.

diesel and hunt 4
Jan 22, 2019
This is my 3rd pair of these boots. I am in oil, diesel fuel, snow, mud, hills and water. I have not dropped a brake drum on them yet, or hit the toes with a sledge hammer, because I am good, and no one else has on me either, but need steel toe boots. Normally there is no issue of "break-in". I wear these on 12 hour shifts while working on the job with concrete floors. In the lot with ice, snow, and ice melt for winter. In the summer no issues with hot sweaty feet. Off the clock for the field and hunting, they get a lot of use. With that, a lot of wear. From the past, about 1 1/2 - 2years , per pair

I've had this boot now for about 2 weeks now the boot looks very nice and made well my only complaint is that for some reason this boot rubs my ankles really bad causing sores. Maybe there not broke in who knows but there very comparable to my $400 Danner's in workmanship for less than half the price.

Quality Materials, Construction, Fit and Comfort!

I’ve only had these size 10W, G-8341 8” steel-toed logger boots for a week and they are already broken-in for all-day comfort. They have a full-gusset tongue to keep out saw chips, dirt & water, which makes for a tight squeeze to get my foot past, but once on, they fit like bespoke boots - good support, with just enough room so no pressure points, pinching or rubbing. Georgia Boot is the only brand I found that offers a lace- to-toe logger boot with a low, walking heel. I wish they came in black, but rubbing a coat of Mink Oil into the full-grain, waterproof leather to condition, protect and further waterproof them darkened them considerably. These are the most expensive work boots I’ve ever purchased (even at 35%-off MSRP on clearance), but worth every penny for the fit & comfort compared to the multiple pairs of hard & stiff Timberland-Pro 6” Pit Boss steel toed work boots I’ve been wearing for the last 12 years, which wore like cast iron, but weren’t comfortable to walk any distance in or wear for more than eight hours. If these G-8341 8” logger boots hold up as well and remain comfortable, they will be my new go-to work boots!

Great Boot

I bought the boots a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with them. I've been buying these boots for years and I've never had any problems with them. In fact, these boots not only saved my toes but they saved my son's ankle. I hit the top of my toes with a chainsaw and the saw never touched my feet, the boot stopped it. My son had an ax bounce into his ankle and while it cut a small slice in the boot there was no damage to his ankle. Definitely worth any cost. Very happy with this boot, I'll never change brands.

I’ve been a Redwing logger boot guy for over 20 years. I thought I’d give your boots a try. I’m highly disappointed. Not only is there way too much boot material at the toung of the boot after 2week they both started to squeak in the sole. So I basically spent the same amount of $$$ as I would have on a par of red wings and got squeaky boots. After 3 weeks I went back to Redwings. Haven’t had a
squeaky par of Redwings in 20 years.
I would like a refund on your boots but that’s probably a long shot.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and they are extremely comfortable. I bought them to work in the woods and at a sawmill. I hope these hold up. They look like they will.

I've had these boots for 7 years now. I have used them for tower climbing and hunting and they have been great, except for the squeak. After trying powder that helped for a bit what ended up working long term for me was getting new insoles.

I work construction year round, in the mud, concrete, snow, water and whatever else and these boots have always done there job. Probably on my 8th pair of Georgia boots and most of them have been this style. I switched one time to Redwing boots and I will never stray away again. I don't have to buy toe protectors either to make my boots last like my Redwing wearing co-workers.

I got a pair of these 2 years ago and at first they were a lil hard to break in but after I broke them in i wouldn't go anywhere without them. They were the most comfortable and toughest boot i have ever owned. I full recommend these boots. They have wonderful tread and they last for ever! I'm fixing to get me another pair of thses.

Bought these boots about 4 years ago when I first got a job as an automotive technician and was on my feet 10-14 hrs a day. From the get go they were comfortable and only got better with time. 4 years and one resole later the leather has finally about had it with all chemicals that have been spilled on them and has cracked enough to finally let a few drops of water in them. These boots have seen daily use over the past 4 years for work and everyday events. I figured while I'm on here ordering a new pair I should at least write a review. The past couple days I have tried on around 100 different boots and I keep coming back to this particular one. The comfort is next to none. The durability is impressive, and the ability to get them resoled is a wonderful feature to have, especially in slippery environments.

The only boots I buy are Georgia loggers, their the best boot I've ever owned and worked with for many job duties. Comfortable, and durable. I've had a pair last me 7 years and only had to replace the boot laces at certain times, love these boots, keep up the great work.

the only reason I buy these boots is my feet don't hurt after 16 to 18 hrs a day on my feet but they are c r a p p y made they only last 6 months and they are shot. I got my last pair in may 2017 and they are already falling apart/leather cracking and the sole is starting to separate on one. if my work didn't give me 100.00 every 6 mo for boots I could not afford these boots.... for the price they should be better made........ I got my 1st pair at D-YOUNGS in Newport news 2 mo the steel shank broke and clicked all the time they gave me a new pair 9mo later the same thing they would not warranty them again they lasted another 4 mo they lasted the longest since I have had 9 pair in 6 years and a couple pair of Carolina boots after 10 hrs I hav to change boots they hurt my feet. you would think they would use a good leather...... if I butcher one of my cows wonder if they would use my leather?(not kidding)

I have bought a pair of these every year for the past 13 years but now I don’t know what to do. I need a 10.5 and they’re not in stock. I don’t want another boot. What’s going on? Tried to reach out to see why they are not available. Would be a 5 ⭐️ but if I can’t get them there’s no point

I've worn these boots all winter so far this year in the snow and freezing temps and I can say: They are Excellent! I normally wear a 10 1/2 D and went a 1/2 size larger - 11 D due to the insulation. They fit perfect.

Squeaking boot
Brian740
Oct 21, 2017
Very disappointed in this product. The boot is a tough boot, but its squeaks with every step, a loud squeak. I work for a large pipeline company and do group walks. Besides being embarrassed and joked about. My colleagues have even said they would never buy a pair by hearing mine,
