I felt obligated to write a review for these since they are new to the site and there are no reviews just yet. I'm stating upfront that I can't attest to the comfort level over time because I will not be keeping these. I just received these in the mail yesterday and here’s what I found: 1. They already had 3-4 scruffs on the toe portion of the shoe. When picking up out of the box and trying on, I added more scuffs because the leather is so fragile. I didn’t know this before, but this is likely because of the “waxed leather” that is indicated on the boot description. This may be the look that some desire (over time, they are supposed to look more “worn in” or a more rugged), but this is not what I wanted for my shoes, so this is a heads-up to others!! 2. There is a clear coloration/texture difference between each boot (see picture). Style-wise/unrelated to damage: The toe is also more bulbous and large-looking than I was expecting from the pictures. Final thoughts: Color (cognac) is great, heel height is great, fit was fine (ran a little big, typical of Frye boots, IMO). It looks like the perfect bootie on the website. Disappointed with the actual product especially when this is supposed to be a semi-luxury brand for boots.

I own these in 3 different colors, these are THAT amazing. They go with literally everything, gotten many compliments. The leather is supposed to look a little “scuffed” to give that worn-in look. I am size 8.5, ordered 9, easy on and off, I could live in these. Highly recommend!
