I have these in black, chocolate and now tan. You can dress them up or go riding in them. They fit good in the stirrup, not to thick. I love the sole on these boots, they last and they're comfortable. The price is great as well. They do run small so go a size up. You can always where different socks to make it more comfortable.

Beautiful boots, but underwhelmed. The toe of the boot should be a more russet-like color, and it came out really pale. Had to put some cream on them (London Red from Ariat), and after letting that sit for a few hours, I wiped off the cream and scrubbed the tint out, to get what shows in the picture. Glad I got to break into these ones before reviewing, because at first there was a sharp point on the right side of the boot by the ankle, but after wearing them for a week or so with the appropriate socks (thick cotton), I don’t feel it anymore. The ankle area is really tight! I don’t mind because my legs are pretty small (5’3, 105lbs), and it takes a bit of oomph to pull ‘em on. But it might be an issue for others. They’re nice and tall. Compared to my Justin’s, they’re tighter, taller, more vibrant, and the toe box is hard as a rock—- good for ranch work and getting dirty! The embroidery and shaft is just as pictured. At first, I thought I made a grave mistake, but I actually ended up loving these mud kickers! Thanks, Ferrini!

I love the look of the boots and I love the service I received from Sheplers! I got these boots for my daughter's wedding in Montana and they are perfect!! I only gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because they do not come in wider widths which forced me to go up in size and they are still a little tight on the bunions.
