I went to Boot Barn with a set budget of no more than $350, after much looking through the racks and not finding anything that hit me I bought a pair of Cody James which I didn't like a lot in regards to appearance but they were better than other boots I saw. When I got home I went on the Boot Barn website and these El Dorado Rust Bison boots came up in my search, so I ordered them because they looked unique. It took a while for them to come in due to a mix-up at Boot Barn but when I got and looked closely at them and wore them at the house it was evident that they were a much better-made boot than the Cody James was; the bison leather crinkled rugged look that looks a lot more expensive than they are, but the leather is thicker, and the sole was thicker than the Cody James, plus they felt more comfortable to me than the Cody James, so I took the Cody James boots back and kept the El Dorado's; plus they were about $100 under my budget due to being on sale at the time. I've only been wearing them for about 2 weeks and they are very nice boots that took no time to break in.

Great pair of boots made with exotic Bison leather. Very good looking and comfortable. These boots run about a 1/2 size big, so order them 1/2 size smaller. Very happy with the look and durability of these Bison leather boots!

Super nice boot. Actually my first pair of Cowboy boots and these were amazingly comfortable right out of the box!! After a few weeks now, they are even more comfortable!!
