This jacket is warm, the material is sturdy and the look is great. I received several compliments. As for sizing go one size down. I usually wear large, but when I tired it on it was baggy and bulky. Medium for just right. I’m 5’11”/185

Purchased a 2xl and it seemed big so they sent me a xl to compare and had me send the one I didn't want, back. So the customer service aspect seemed pretty good. But, when the 2nd coat was sent (which is the one I want to keep) it had a tear in the pocket liner. I didn't think it would be too big of a deal and could sew it up myself so that things don't fall into the shell of the coat. Then, after wearing it one day, the snap on the sleeve broke. So I either have to wear it unbuttoned on the sleeve or snap it shut using the 2nd snap, which makes it too tight. I sent Sheplers an email about it and as of yet have not heard back from them. So I'm not happy about the quality of this jacket from the initial purchase.

I got this a few weeks ago. Its not a coat for a typical Central New York winter, but on those rare days where we break 40 degrees its great!. Lots of pockets and good looking.

This is a great jacket. I wear it casually and for yard work. Looks sharp and keeps me warm. I like the Sherpa lining and Sherpa lined collar. The inside zipper pocket is large enough for concealing a small handgun, which is an unexpected bonus.
