These jeans fit great! So much so that I purchased more. My previous jeans were tight in the legs which I thought that was correct. These jeans proved me wrong. They have a longer waist and looser fitting legs. Extremely comfortable!

Great pant, I have worn these for work as a general contractor for 20 ish years. I always bought them from a local hardware store till this year they stopped carrying them. Tried several local retailers who either did not carry them or were out of stock. Finally decided if I wanted them I would have to go direct if I could. I started buying Dickies pants for work 5 years ago, and have not found any other brand out there to really compare to Dickies. They fit great and the material lasts a long time. I can put any pair of pants to the test. Rarely does a pair make the grade. When I received these pants, I thought they were really too dense and thick to be comfortable, they were obviously rugged. After one wash, these pants are the only pants I wear for work and pleasure. The fit is perfect, the body of the fabric loosened up enough that they are very comfortable and roomy enough for work and play, and I do both, hard. Best pants on the market. Just wish they came in more colors (i.e. blue?)

I bought these for my son who is 18 yrs of age and a big boy! I like the jeans because they are thick and heavy, material that holds weight very well. The one negative is the fit in the seat area. My son says that it is a little snug in the butt area. I think it is the style of jean I bought. Next time I will get the loose or baggy.

Bought these mainly to skate in. If you're tall it is pretty hard to find clothes that work. These are nice and tough, I have a few slams to prove it. They have also worked as just casual pants. Wife says they fit me great and likes them on me, so that's nice. I am 6'5'', 200 lbs and bought the 34 waist 36 inseam.

One star? Look at the title. So I pulled out a couple of pairs of the same size, same pant, to see if it was just me or if the sizes were really off. They are within a couple of inches, yes, but it's annoying that you just have to know that getting your correct size depends on you having to go try them on instore somewhere and be limited to what's on the shelf in that store. Buying online? Get yourself a good belt.

I'm a fat guy. (5'11", 315lbs). Since I have a big gut, I wear my pants below my gut, so my pants tend to sit lower than my hips a bit. It's tough to find pants in a 46W that have a slightly shorter crotch to accommodate this. These pants fit great through the waist and thighs on me. My only complaint is that they don't come in a shorter inseam. Due to my pants being worn lower, my inseam (which probably should be 30-32 at my height) is closer to 26-28. I hemmed these pants and took 3 inches of the legs, and they're my favorite fitting pants.

These pants are great. They are made out of a strong material and have extra pockets but they aren’t bulky. Great quality, great price and they even came in 36” inseam. The green are especially nice. I wish I had gotten all 3 in green.

I miss the old style that had a more tapered leg opening. Now they so wide they are almost like bell bottoms. I get that these are work pants and need up fit over a pair of boots, but come on! What kind of boots do you think we are wearing? Moon boots? Seriously bad design.

Quality made Jean's the waist fixes just a little snug at 32 and the inseam at 32 fits perfectly, the jean material has a good heavy feel about them.

I have an older pair of "regular fit"36 x 32 that I love, have bought several pairs of 'relaxed fit" 36 x 32 that are just too loose. I'm afraid 34 x 32 would be too tight in the waist. Dickies should offer either the regular fit or a 35" waist option - PLEASE! What should I do? They do not shrink, which is usually a good thing.

Not sure if washing them will shrink them down to the size of my old pair or not. Other than that, they fit good.

I have been wearing these pants for a few years now. I have been happy with their durability and comfort. The area in the crotch seam is the first to wear out, maybe from getting in and out of my truck. If that didn't happen, I would get an extra 2-3 months of wear time out of them. I get 4-6 months of daily wear out of these pants. Different colors waist line and side pockets are different fitting.

I needed to get work pants for my new job. I didn't want to pay a lot in case the job didn't work out. These jeans are good quality at a fair price. Even though they are carpenter jeans, I can still wear them off the job because they also have a "regular" jean look.

I have been wearing Dickies carpenter pants for years. I can be hard on clothes and these hold up pretty well to abuse. When the leg fronts get holes in them, they turn into shorts and patch material. Good clothes.

My husband uses these for work. I have been unable to find the style that he had before so we went with this style. Even though it says 100% cotton the duck brand feels less softer and cooler than the ones he had before. Are sturdy though and these will do.

I want to use the sidepocket for my cell phone, unfortunately the placement of the side-pocket is too low and too small. my cell-phone, which is a big one, does not fit in this side pocket. can you please increase the opening just so that you can at least easily fit an iphone 7 or 8 or 9. and raise the opening itself by about an inch or a half inch so that it is not too far down the leg. i want ready-access to the phone and do not want to have to bend my whole body to reach it. thanks.

The jeans are fine, except that the length is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes I buy 32 inch inseam and they're fine, other times they're up to 4 inches longer than normal. It's annoying and frustrating. In this order, one was fine, the other two were too long, so now I have to return 2 of the 3 I bought.

I'm a volunteer building houses for Habitat for Humanity. I had (actually still wear) a pair of these jeans for five years, wore them three days a week, washed them repeatedly (they are now light tan in color) and they have just held up incredibly well. The one rip I had years ago, stopped and didn't spread; the duck fabric is very strong. So yup, I ordered another pair because they are just that good, worth the price and a heck of a lot better than jeans that cost a lot more.

My only complaint is how they look after being dried. I have tried drying them two ways on different heat cycles, and both times they come out a wrinkled mess. It takes to much time to iron them to be presentable at work. No other complaints besides that.

These are some of the best pants you can get, especially for the price. My favorites by far, the fit is fantastic, they look great, the only thing I would suggest they change is make the right side pocket bigger.(phone used to fit in there, but phones have gotten bigger now, so they don't fit in that pocket anymore) I've bought these pants for many years and will continue to do so.

Decent jeans for the money, although they seem to come out of the dryer very wrinkled. The main problem for me is I'm a 28" inseam and the shortest offered here is 30". Why can I get the original work pants in my length but nothing else? Cost of alterations moves these out of the good value category for me.

Well made, good material, I just don’t understand why they are “washed”. If I want them rinsed I will do that myself. They would be better if they were not rinsed, just brand new. Another thing I noticed is that they fit different than the pairs I bought last year. The legs aren’t as roomy.

I could not figure out why some Dickies pants, Even though the same size, fit me well, others not so well. Relaxed fit straight leg is the reason they fit me well. Love the way these pants fit. Got tired of my denim carpenter jeans prematurely wearing at the knees and even through the denim on the side that I carry my pocket knife. Duck wears better than denim and these have just as comfortable a fit. My only complaint would be that the front pocket openings are small even for my medium sized hands. Overall, a good value.

These jeans fit perfectly when I first put them on. After washing/drying, they fit just as good as the first time I put them on. They also have plenty of room when moving around. I would highly recommend these for anyone on the move at work.

Yes, I like the relaxed fit carpenter jeans very much. They fit me much better than the competition. Here's a question--I had one of these jeans in which the watch pocket had been extended so that it held my iPhone perfectly. The next pair didn't have that feature. That was a super feature--can it be standard? Also, leather reinforcing over the edge of the front pockets--my tape measure wears them out there prematurely.

Just like the carpenter jeans, these duck dungarees do it all at work with comfort. But, in the service industry, sometimes you want to look a bit more professional for the customers. The style & color choices as an additional touch of "professional" to the work-hard look of a typical carpenter jean/dungaree. I actually wear these as often for casual wear as I do for work.

I have to send two of three of these pants back. The sizing of all three identical sizes is different. The only difference was color. But they should have all been identical carpenter pants. Unfortunate, because the material is great.

Quality and workmanship is great, always has been but the fit is terrible. These jeans should be called "baggy" not relaxed fit. I have been wearing Dickee work jeans for more than 30 yrs and it seems like the cut keeps getting bigger and bigger. The waist sizes are no longer proportional to a body that is not obese. There are still a large % of men working that don"t require extra room in the seat and legs, especially in the lower leg section. Its almost to the point that the extra material is becoming a hinderance when working. Because for these reasons I have for he first time started to search for other manufacturers for a better fit. Maybe its time to think about offering an "original fit" cut once again

These pants are great. Material feels very durable. Also they do NOT shrink at all. If you usually buy a longer inseam because your pants shrink, don’t do that for these. Had to hem them because they stayed 34”. That is a testament to their quality however.

i have used other brands for years, i thought i'd give these a try because of saving some money and good reviews. I normally wear a 33x36 in every other jeans i've worn. Since there is not a 33 waist available i tried a 32x36. Got them in the mail and there is no way i can fit into them. So i returned them and bought a 34 x 36. Now, they are too big. I am just keeping them and hope they will shrink after washing several times.. Washed several times and shrank a little but not enough for what i needed. I like the Jeans and price overall, double knee, heavy jeans. I doubt i will be ordering anymore unless they start making a 33x34 or 33x34. If they do, i will be ordering allot more.

Apparently you don't pay much attention to these reviews as I have done this once already. I ordered 33 because I can't keep 34's up and 32 is just a little snug. Your 33's were easily 2 sizes SMALLER than the 32's. That's NOT just shrinkage. Total waste of money. Now please stop sending me emails.

These are my standard work pants. The other brown duck big name was always my go to but in the summer the double layer is too hot, and the outer layer wears in about the same time as the fabric in these pants. For comfort and wear I switched to this brand. I go through 2 pairs a year working them hard.
