Very comfortable jeans. The side pockets used to be big enough for a smart phone to fit but Dickies is making them smaller now. I got around that by pulling one of the inside stitches out (just the vertical one that holds the pocket on, NOT THE ONE THAT HOLDS THE FRONT OF THE LEG TO THE BACK OF THE LEG) This adds an extra 1/4 inch or so for my Samsung S6 with Otterbox case to fit and does not affect the durability of the jean itself. Did I mention they are very comfortable!

Excellent heavy weight jeans. I only buy Dickies and purchase new jeans every 2 years . I only replace them because they’re faded, however they still hold up after 5 years working on cars and my property. Great quality jeans!!!

I purchased my first pair of Dickies a number of years ago for a price that was almost a forth of what I had been paying for demin trousers. I have not gone back. I have bought Dickie from that time forward. this is a well made, well designed product that holds its color well. A fine product, at a fair price.

I was not happy with my purchase. I ordered 3 pairs of relaxed fit carpenter jeans, the same jeans I've been wearing to work for many years. They fit everywhere but the pocket areas. They were kind of loose at the waist but so ridiculously tight at the pocket that I couldn't even put my hands in my pockets. I'm not pleased n I will be returning them.

I have worn dickies 1993 snb for years but in last couple years they have changed the material there cheaper made the coler is off and I have 4 pair that the crotch has torn out of not to mention the sizes are off I don't know what has happend but there is no consistency left with this product

Good jeans that i have been buying for over 10 years. The only downside is the side pocket keeps getting narrower. The material to make it like it used to be is minimal. Raise the price by a $1.00 and keep your customers happy. Phones are not getting any smaller, only your side pockets are.

I have been wearing 5 pocket relaxed fit Dickies for a number of years, and I wanted something different this time around. These fit the bill! Bought these jeans for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves them! She's really hard on zippers somehow and these come with what I can only call a "super duty" zipper. I'm sure she can't mess up this one! Plus the price is outstanding given the quality.

Have been wearing since 1963 when I started in the Railroad Industry . I retired from that job in 2008 but still wear DICKIES for work, for wife, or for leisure . I have always been impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship. For about 25 years of my railroad career I took my work clothes to the laundry and had then wash, starched then ironed. Because of the quality and appearance I gain more respect from my co-workers and supervisors because of attention I afforded to looking nice for work. I also owned leisure wear that gained a like respect from their appearance. If I could have bought a Dress suit for church from DICKIES I would have.

Yep first pair i put on the button came apart, looks like the pressed on pin didn't line up properly and was bent. Hope this isn't an indication of the quality that is now resorted to. I have worn these Jeans for years and have always been pleased in the past.

I’ve bought a lot of jeans in my 68 years but these jeans are the most comfortable, longest lasting jeans I‘ve ever owned. They are also true to fit. Please, please don’t stop making them. It always seems that companies want to change with the times. Just to let you know, they’re some of us out here that never change and when we find something we like we will go to the ends of the earth to find it. I love these jeans. The are so comfortable and the sizing is perfect - not that crazy, vanity size where you have to buy a size down from your usual fit. I am a middle-aged skateboarder and prefer to skate in jeans, and these fit the bill. They're comfortable, move with me, are durable and have not shrunk in the wash, the pockets are large enough to be comfortable to hold my phone and keys.

The front pockets need to be a heavier material. They wear out way before the jeans. That is the only thing I can find fault with. Other than that I like the fit and durability.

I've been wearing these jeans for work for several years now and am very happy with them overall. I just ordered two new pairs in the same size and they did not fit the same. One fit just right like all of my other pairs, but the other one was a little tight in the waist. Just wish the fit was a little more consistent.

I put any work pants to the test because I'm up and down ladders, on floor or concrete surfaces, ground/dirt, etc. I also utilize the pockets by packing them with many hand tools (rules, screwdrivers, small levels, pencils, knives, wrenches, etc.)Through it all the Dickies Carpenter Denim Jeans hold up the best and they are very comfortable, especially after a couple of times being washed.

Side pcket needs to be bigger. As cell phones get larger. The side pocket on the carpenter denim has been made smaller. The wife of a trucker driver a larger pocket would be great when he has to stop overnight somewhere and has to go for walk etc to put his cell phone in. Other than that these are his favorite jeans for working on the road and at home.

These are great heavy duty jeans. I am a contractor and tear a lot of jeans so I need the heavier material. The only thing I can think of that I don't like about them is they come out of the dryer extremely wrinkled and I have to iron them. I can live with that though and plan to buy more.

I'm a mechanic at a bowling alley and I have tried all other brands of work pants and shirts and nothing exceeds better than Dickies. I bought these pants for everyday wear. Work and home. The pants around the waist are a perfect fit. The length i believe is a bit longer than described. I ordered a 30 inch length, Seems too fit more like a 32. I always order 30L on any pants. 30L usually fit perfect for me. Im not going to knock the pants for it. The pants are great. Just need to get them shortened up a bit. I will be a return customer

I like baggy pants got my size 31/32, and love the loose fit baggy without creating an uneven silhouette, or falling off my waist because of the slightly more generous cut in the hips, slightly on the rigid side but they keep their crip look after a steam iron! I hate anything skinny nowadays so thank the universe for the carpenter fit!

The carpenter pants I bought must have been pulled out of the reject pile. Doesn't anyone check for quality? The areas above the front pockets were not constructed properly. The material was sewn on crocked or too much was used. It is bulging and crooked. Also, there is so much excess material in the thighs, I could probably fit both of my legs into one pant leg. These pants were made terrible. I am so disappointed. I don't dare risk purchasing from your company again.

I use these for maintenance work and like them. The extra pockets are handy for storing tools while going up/down ladders or away from my tool bag. They fit well and look OK.

My everyday go to, weither it work or getting ready for a ride on the hog, these are my jeans! Hold up great, even on the roof, and has strong pockets for all my EDC gear! Not to mention, really the only jean I can get in a 30/34!! Thank you guys!

I bought these work pants to last everyday of the week. They last a good amount of time. They wear well. They feel comfortable and have plenty of pockets.

I ordered 4 pairs of jeans of which 1 pair has length issues. 1 leg is a 32" length and the other leg is a 34" leg. I have to package and send back. I love the jeans Other than that issue.

You have no movement with these and the pockets are small making it hard to get your hands in them

I bought some regular jeans and some heavy duty jeans, and honestly have trouble telling the difference.Both seem to be fairly high quality, but not sure if they are "heavy duty". They all seem to be built fine, there are some loose threads here and there (why??), but overall good product. I'll buy again.

I wear the relaxed fit carpenter jeans for work and play and they fit and feel great! Soft as cotton but wear like iron. When a pair eventually wear enough to be pulled from the work week rotation they continue on as yard jeans and are just as at home there. I live in these jeans!

We have bought 8 pairs in the last several months and every paor has come about at the seam in the crouch. We have had a horrible experience with them so far. Dickies uswd to be great quality jeans not sure what happened

Good quality! Not as paper thin as some reviews say. Similar sizing to 874 pants. Side pocket is big enough to fit my iPhone 12 approximately 4 inches.

I have always loved this style jeans from Dickies. I might be a big boy, but I still have to move a lot at work: bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching...and these give me the room& flexibility to do it all with comfort. The heavy material and stitching hold up against abuse better than a more "popular", much more expensive brand seen on construction sites that claims to be the toughest in work wear.
