I have worn Danner's "High Ground" womens boot for years. It had a problem with the lower lace eyelets so Danner discontinued it. This boot is similar but made on a narrower last, which I like. These boots fit my feet well. The boot itself is stout and provides excellent support. So far, I like them a lot!

My wife loves these boots! They are lightweight , comfortable, and durable! We elk hunt in the mountains and deer hunt in the desert and these boots hold up to any rugged terrain!

Bought for wife, bought half size bigger, but still too narrow.

I bought these boots in October and I love them they fit very well and are super comfortable, I bought them basically as multi purpose boots. I've used them to hike in the smokey's as well as to do some upland hunting with my dad. I also work in agriculture, and have worn them some to walk corn and bean fields. Meaning to say I have worn them a good amount but I am pretty disappointed that the eyelets for the shoe strings are pulling out of the boot. One eyelet on each shoe. They aren't unwearable but to pay this for boots and have them coming part after 7 weeks is a little disappointing.

I read so many great reviews on these and was excited to get these for a high buck hunt I was going on. I broke them before hand and within 4 miles of our hunt I had blisters. We had to continue hiking to get to our camp and before we even got there we had to turn around and end our trip because my blisters were the size of half dollars. These boots have a seam that goes vertical right where your heel goes which I think was the main problem and they do not have much give when you walk. I got my correct size and no matter what socks or looseness/tightness I did it did not help. I will return these and buy a different brand

I have 2 Rottweilers and walk 1-4 miles every day, over varied terrain, in all weather. The Wayfinder is the most comfortable boot (or shoe) I've ever worn. Though I'm in my 70's, I have a secure stride in these boots. There was no "breaking-in" period. They were like an old friend from day one. I'd recommend 1/2 size larger. I like them so much that I bought a second pair in brown and a third pair in the mossy oak.

This is a great boot! The extra height is supportive for my 'wobbly' ankles. I will be using them as a hiking boot until next fall when they will be perfect for upland game hunting. There the extra height will keep out woodland debris. Fit is great for me as I have a narrow foot.

Two of the rivets for the laces popped off on the 5th time wearing them. Had to return for replacement. Hopefully the second pair does not do the same thing. Overall the boots feel nice but I’m not real impressed with my last few pair. All seem to have seam issues or lace issues or rivets popping off (not a single pair has lasted even 6 months without a problem)

These boots are so comfortable and great for walking around all day.

Great boots. If they don't seem to fit just right, you probably need to adjust your lacing style. I added a surgeons knot at the top of the foot and a heel lock at the top.

When I originally read the reviews for this boot, I saw that it fit tight. I was able to try on the insulated version at a store and it did feel tight in my normal size. So, I bought a 1/2 size up. But after a few trips, they broke in and are now a little lose. I do still love these boots. I’ve worn them for moose and deer hunts in Alaska where the terrain can go from bog to mountainside. They have great ankle support, are waterproof. And, well, they look great too. I’ll wear extra thick socks to keep from sliding in them, so I’m glad I got the non-insulated. I highly recommend, just find your right fit!

I’ve had a pair of Orvis boots for 15 years and when they lost their water repellancy I panicked. After doing research I decided on the Danner boots as the replacement. They are so comfortable right out of the box. I’m able to easily adjust the laces for support. If they even make 8 years I’ll be pleased and I’m tempted to order another pair now! Thank you Danner!

Great boot, not my favorite aesthetically but super comfortable and durable. I’ve put some miles on these shed hunting right out of the box and they are hanging tough. Warmer than I expected with no insulation. Will be good for early-mid hunting season.

2 weeks in with a few “break in hikes” in them. So far, I love them. They fit great right out of the box, and the ankle seems to have lots of stability. We will see how they hold up to a season of hunting

People were right about there being no break-in period. I wore these boots straight out of the box on a 4-mile hike on variable terrain, and they were great. No blisters, no hot-spots, no pinchy areas. Additionally, they were sturdy without being stiff and very grippy on some slippery rocks. Definitely a fan of these boots. One thing that needs improvement, especially as a hunter, is the squeaking. These boots audibly squeak quite a bit, which ain't a great feature when you're trying to sneak up on a critter. Outside of that, great boot.

First off let me say I appreciate Danner for stepping up and producing boots MADE for women, as they make a terrific product. Need a few more styles or possibly a revamp of 1 or 2 from of the styles made now. Unfortunately I did return the 2 different styles I ordered. The reason I returned this pair, there was a definite manufacturing defect where the material came together with the right boot. Inside portion of the right heel. I could've worn them hoping that it would smooth out, however medical conditions don't permit me that luxury even though they would replace them if it didn't. The return process was quick and easy. Fit was great and seemed spot on in all points.

My daughter and I have these boots. We pack in the summer and snowshoe in the winter with no complaints. Have had them 5 years with lots of miles and now wearing the tread down a bit. That is why we are buying them again!

Love my boots! I wore them through 3 hunts this fall and the fit was comfortable in every terrain. I had read previous reviews and went a size bigger as suggested. My only complaint is that they really squeak. The boots not being leather I’m not sure how to correct that.

I purchased these boots about 6 moths ago. I wore them frequently through our whitetail bow season this year. The quality seemed fine. The toe box could have had a little more room but overall, I liked them. Then I took them on a 5 day mule deer hunt 3 weeks ago. The first 3 days they held up fine. The morning of the fourth day I noticed that the top lace eyelet was broken and had pulled out of the nubuck. So disappointing. I have worn Danner for years and the quality of this boot is not what I had expected.

Nice boots. Light as a feather with all the protection needed in an upland boot.

I got there boots in March. So far they have gone through spring, summer and fall bear chasing/hunts and the deer hunt. I've gone through water, mud, sleep rock, ledges, tons of brush and side billed steep mountainsides. I'm not even talking these boots up on how they support my feet and ankle. They just fit. They're durable and my feet have not been sore. I didn't even get blisters when my not came undone side hilling when packing out a quartered up deer. I recommend these boots! Great quality!! I chose the non-insulated waterproof.

Beyond pleased👍 I have long narrow feet and bought these boots for a pheasant shoot. Lots of walking in fields, I did not break them in and they were so comfortable. Well priced, great quality. Thank you Danner 🥾

Sizing was perfect. I got blisters on the back of my ankles the first time I wore them but no problems since. Very comfortable and durable. Best hunting boots I’ve ever bought!

I had high hopes for these boots. My old Danner boots were great, but these don't seem up to par. I was hoping for more stability/support but it's just not there. The color is ugly, but also impractical for hunting boots that get muddy/bloody. The foam layer between the sole and upper isn't very durable, there are little chunks missing after only a week of archery hunting. I'd say these are not for avid hunters & outdoorsman... These are better for those who don't get out alot or stay on level ground/road walking.

Bought these for a NM Antelope Hunt at the end of August 2021, knowing the temps could reach 90.... gave them a try during Spring Turkey Season in upstate NY. I really like these boots. They're great looking, light weight, not bulky at all. I did order up a 1/2 size in case I wanted to wear a heavier sock at some point. I would say they run "just a touch" on the small side.

I regularly hike in the woods for my job and these boots are awesome! Good grip on rocks. I went up half a size so I can wear thicker socks.

Super comfortable, very lightweight, i love the way they look esp for a hunting boot! A lot of toe room, I’m wider @ the front narrow heel. I wear a 9, ordered a 10 to be able to wear thick hunt/hike socks, have more than enough room. My new favorite boots!

After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to buy these for a tree service job. I was previously wearing a 400 gram insulated Under Armour boot that was rubbing the balls of feet terribly after my feet were sweating all day. I was excited to try the Wayfinders after all the reviews about how comfortable they were and how they didn’t need to be broken in. I now have even more problems with not only the bottoms of my feet, but these boots have rubbed the tops of my toes completely raw. I can feel the stitching in the toe area and the lace hooks rubbing my toes everytime I move and especially walking downhill. The style looks good, but the comfort is absolutely not.

I love the Wayfinders. This is my second pair. They are comfort, waterproof, and provide ankle support. I had to order a size and a half up. They do run small. And I usually wear two socks.
