I have had numerous pairs of Danner boots in the past, but I have been wearing other brands as of late which led to severe foot pain. I decided to try out a pair of the Danner Striker Bolt in hopes of finding relief. I spent my first full work day wearing these boots. Felt a little tight initially. I took the boot string out of the speed lace eyelet and the boot became way more comfortable. My only complaint is that when I am walking, my left boot makes a squeaky popping sound. I am hoping that it is only due to the boot being new and not broken in.

The weight of the boots are a bit heavy for me liking but they do look good and seem durable

Very comfortable boot. Replaced a set I had for years. Boot is not a minimalist boot but still feels like wearing a light set of shoes. Highly recommend!

Comfortable right out of the box. Love the look of these boots.

Great shoe except for that top rear lace eye. What's that all about? Makes getting boot on & off difficult. Get rid of it then add speed hooks for a really GREAT shoe.

I like the quality, 2 E is still too narrow though.

Great comfort as usual from Danner . They are improved from the original Strikers that i have worn for years.

best boots ever wore in 30 years of being a law enforcement officer. I was getting concerned during covid when I could not find a pair. Glad I can find them again!!

Shoes length fit great. I re ordered EE width. I'm wearing them to hopefully break them in because they still feel tight by the ball of my foot.

I've bought the striker bolt for my last few.pairs andnhad.boughtnthe predecessor for a few pairs prior. They are my main footwear when I am not at work. I have liked their durability. Two pairs agomwhen they aged they would.rub black dye.all over my socks. This was after 2 yrs of use. The last pair.lost waterproofing after 2 yrs so I had to order new ones. This pair was rubbing my upper ankle on one side and causing blisters in one spot but that has gotten better now after.a.month. I like them over all and will buy again.

I am not really very satisfied with this boot...though the size, traction and fit are great, they are heavy and they are not comfortable for standing...as I have a pair of X TERRA FORCE that I have been wearing nearly every single day for 11 years or more and I can do everything in them WITH my back injury..!!

The boots felt ok. They needed to be a little wider especially across the top of the foot around the bottom of the laces and toe and need some kinda insulation in them. But other than that not a bad boot.

Great fit , light boot especially for being on your feet all day.

Great boots like all the Danner's I own. Only change I would make is the top two islets. I would make them the same as on the 452 Radical. Would make it easier to get on and off.

Absolutely love these boots, I also have the 8 " Stryker boots to hard to get on when your old, but thse 4.5 are perfect and comfortable. I work 12 hours per shift with no issues. Only if I could wear them off duty with shorts.

I'm still trying to break them in. They are much stiffer than the last pair I bought several years ago. My other pair also had more cushion in the soles. I can only wear these for a hour or two every couple of days. They rub on my outer ankles. Time will tell if they break in comfortably. These are either a different style or version of the last pair I bought.

Perfect boot when I don’t need an 8 inch insulated during the winter months. Comfortable and the gore tex keeps my feet dry during summer showers

Eyelet on the inside of the boot is rubbing on my ankle. Had 3 other pair of danner boots never had a problem like this. I can't wear them at this point to painful.

The StrikerBolt boot felt and performed great right out of the box. It's great that America still has companies that take pride in their products and services. Thanks, Danner.

I have been wearing Danner boots for about 20 years now and I have to say they are the most comfortable boot that I have worn during my career which requires me to be on my feet a great deal. They are even better with the arch supports that I buy and use inside of these shoes. They also keep my feet dry during inclement weather.

8.5 extra wide again whenever i look for my size i never find, this issue its before the pandemic now its worse please custumer service read this its not complain the quality or price you its about always missing or out stock this size and never learn or look your number sales

Kinda heavy besides that I love the Danner 4.5 boots traction is great rain, sleet, or snow I have no complaints

These boots are perfection. I have worn striker boots for at least 15 years, I always get the 8" side zip, however the quality of the 8" side zip has gone so far down that I will never get another pair. The problem is when they stopped making them all leather uppers the fabric behind the ankle ripped soon after the warranty expired. The 4.5" are short enough that I won't have this problem. To summarize... The 4.5" are excellent boots... The 8" side zip are junk and not worth the money. I will keep buying the 4.5" and just try to only walk through shallow streams.

Right out of the box they felt great and definitely less time to break it in! I love the way it fits my feet and the cushioning is definitely more substantial than my last danner boots! Overall I am very happy with the purchased and looking forward when the boots breaks even more!

They aren't comfortable. Hurt my feet. Stopped wearing them.

I bought the wide width, to my surprise they were comfortable right out of the box, I am pleased with the boots. I will be buying another pair in the future.

Glue on left toe starting to give away already. Had them about a month
