These are absolutely beautiful in person. They look vintage and expensive which is exactly what I was going for when shopping for the perfect cowboy boot! The design is soo lovely. I'd also recommend buying your normal shoe size as they run true to size!

I am keeping the boots, but they were shipped with no packing at all. First impression was they were used. Workmanship was not what I have gotten from DP in the past. See photos.

Bought these for my wife. Shaft is 13-1/2” from floor to top of pull loops. The shaft is wide enough for many ladies calves. My wife’s calves are shapely. They fit perfectly. Have some wiggle room. Enough for skinny jeans inside & still a little play. If you have a large calf they may be too sung. She took 1/2 size smaller than expected. Overall the quality of the leather & stitching is quite good. The piecing of the cutouts is perfect. Since the have black toes you can polish any scuffing. Unlike Mens boots, the leather is softer requiring much less break in. We are avid country dancers & bought these specifically for country dancing. They have worked out very, very well for dancing. The leather sole feels good on hardwood. Once the sharp edge of rubber heel cap becomes just a little rounded, she really likes the feel on the floor. She wanted a fancy boot. In real life on your foot, to say these look stunning is an understatement!! The red is just right. Not too bright. Doesn’t look over the top. Just super cool. The colors of the boot goes with many different clothing colors, so they are versatile. There is no down side to these boots. The boot is rugged enough for street use as well. These are dress boots, not horse riding boots. Hopefully they don’t discontinue them.
