Good looking boot. Color looks correct to photograph. Sent a competitor’s Brown boot for return, it had reddish tint that stood out too much for my liking.

this particular boot looks worn when it's new. i put the moisture blocking spray on as indicated but it left patches of the boot much lighter then other parts. I fear I ruined the appearance of the boots. I'm going to try polish. I originally wanted the "Abrams" but they were out of my size. aside from these issues I like the boots but I wish I had not been so impatient and waited for the "Abrams"

Only gripe I have is a received a used pair in the mail. This is my 3rd pair so I could tell right when I opened the box the color was off the soles were scuffed up and they clearly had a crease from whoever had them before me. Had to drive them into town to return and wait for another pair in the mail. But I love these boots and are Easy to dress up or with jeans and a cut off drinking beer and shooting some clay.

I loved the look of these boots and was looking forward to wearing them. Unfortunately, the right boot was much narrower then the left and the finish on the boot appeared to be different as if the boots were made at different times or miss matched. I returned them.

Owned these for 2 months and love the look and feel.

Bought these for my bf a few weeks ago. He really likes them. I bought them for going out, but he's been wearing them to work too! He tried them on at another store while out of town & when we came home i ordered them online from Sheplers, mainly bc they were having the sale & the return policy/shipping is easy & fast. His normal shoe size is 10.5 and they fit great. No complaints, other than he has already scuffed them all up. Will be ordering again soon!

Not crazy about the wide toe, and the inside seam rubbed my ankle. But the boot has good design qualities designed to make walking easy!

great boots,, run a half size larger than expected

Really really impressed with these boots, I normally do not buy boots/cowboy boots because I wear a size 17. Luckily boot barn actually have my size which I was shocked by, and the boots are fantastic. They fit great, they feel great, and they look great.

Comfortable all day wear the first day! Boots look great with a weathered, aged leather look. A bargain for the price. The gel flex sole is great , not slippery like leather soled boots when new. I really like the chocolate leather look. The fit was great and I usually find D width boots a bit wide for my narrow Mans foot. If I have any crticism it would be that the leather does not appear to be long lasting as it is a bit thin, but that is to be expected with these pseudo worn leather boots. Overall very satisfied, especially with the sole..which I hope will last. My first pair of Dan Post boots and not the last.

Not comfortable. The "high impact ultimate gel flex" at the ball of my feet has become horribly misshapen after only a week of wear, eliminating its cushioning effect and making it downright unconfortable. I'm not sure whether this was due to defective materials or poor workmanship, but they felt great for the first few days. It's a good-looking boot, just not one I want to wear anymore.

This is a decent standard boot. The traction of the sole is helpful up here in the Northeast where we have several months of snow and ice. I have 2 issues with the boot that caused me to score it a bit lower. 1- the picture does not match the product. I expected a distressed brown leather. This is not a huge deal. Just means I will have to distress them myself over time but I was hoping to eliminate the break in period. 2- the gel component is in an uncomfortable spot too far forward under the toe. This will hopefully even out over time as well.

Great pair of boots at great price, my son-in-law loves them. This is his second pair.

I bought them and my order was wrong at first and had to send it back. They sent me a new pair and they must not have inspected them. There was a 2 cm hole in the leather.

Boot color is grossly inaccurate to what is advertised

I love my ostrich, but got these because I wanted a pair I could wear more often. These are my new go to’s. I can literally wear these everyday, all day. I chose them because of the rubber outsole “Cowboy Certified” and it did not disappoint.

This is a great quality boot. The Madcat leather has been softer in the past though.

I wear size 15 in most shoes, but a 14 in boots. The 14 were way too big. I have not been a size 13 since 9 grade, but exchanged them for a 13 wide. They still slip a bit. Bought some insoles and a pair of Rocky Merino Wool Performance Hiker socks. Good to go finally.

I just bought this Dan Post boots from Sheplers last month.  They arrived sooner than I expected and with free freight.  The workmanship is excellent and I got immediate complements on how they look.  My first cowboy boots with a square toe.  The boots broke in very quickly and fit great.

We have to send these back. Size 10 D runs small. Very disappointed that my husband can't wear these boots.

These boots look great. Nothing to write home to mom about. The insole on one of them came unglued at the heel, made for an uncomfortable night out. And the leather part of the outsole on both boots is starting to come undone, had to snip it off. Not Sure what cowboy certified them, probably not a real cowboy.

Boot is true to size & easy to break in. Leather is a tad thin but still great quality. The soles are very nice as well. Overall a very quality boot, especially for the sale price.

These boots are just fabulous - right out of the box! Nothing more to say. I love them!!

Shepler`s sent me the Boots same day I ordered. The boots are very well crafted. I like the Roper/saddle Vamp design. The insole is very comfortable. The inside fodder is all leather - no Gore Tex! The leather smells so good! These boots will not be my last Dan Post Boots! Thank you very much!

The most comfortable boot I ever bought. It did have a man made scratch on the toe. I would have asked for a different pair if I was in the store. I purchased boot polish and a brush. The scratch came out. It would have bothered me as long as I owned the boots if it had not.

3rd pair of these boots, the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I have bunions and the uppers stretch quickly to spread out a bit to accommodate funky feet. The down side of the soft upper is the leather scratches and cut up easily, so they don't stay nice very long... Great boots!
