Jacket is nice quality but shipping method left something to be desired. Jacket was dropped into a box while still on the hanger. When I received the package the jacket was all wadded up and extremely wrinkled.

Wonderful fit very light, but keeps you warm made me from a 3 to a five so is my wife

I ordered both a 40R and the 42R so I may choose the right fit. I have an athletic build, v-shaped, broad shoulder, and a small waist. If this sounds like you, this blazer isn’t for you. I wear medium t-shirts fitted, but my shoulders feel better in a large. The 40R fit my shoulders, but the arms were very loose, the length was long and the body could have been a double breasted fit. I this jacket is trying to hit a general size fit, but this jacket is made not for a big and tall body. The 42R was out of the question big on me. It’s a bummer because the jacket had a great feel and very nice look. The black micro fiber shoulders and the suit material was light but not thin. I wished it for, but both are being returned.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. It is a very nice looking jacket and my hubby looks great in it! (He even knows he looks great in it -- it's that nice!) Love it!

Overall, this is a very nice sportscoat, but it cost a bit more than the purchase price to get it there. I'm a native-born Texan, now in my late 40's, and starting to take a greater interest in dressing a little nicer. his sportscoat is the nicest western style I've seen in a long time. The faux suede looks great with my Resistol Black Gold. The charcoal gray tweed herringbone looks great with jeans and a nice pearl snap and bolo. The jacket is great, what was not was the journey and expense to get it to a proper fi which double the cost. #1. Size: First of all, of the three Boot Barns in my area, not a single one carried the jacket. I had to order online. I went to a tailor to conform my measurements before placing the order. The tailor measured me at 44R. I am 5'11", 182 lbs, 44" chest, 35" waist, muscular athletic build. The sizing of this sportscoat line is off by about two sizes. The tailor told me it was more of a 46R and advised I order a 42R. The 42R ended up being the right fit around the chest and shoulders. #2. Fit: The 42R turned out to be the proper fit for the shoulders, but the waistline is not designed for anyone who watches their weight. This surprised me since Cody James pearl snap shirts are typically form fitting. Cody James really needs to offer a Slim version, or cowboy cut, for those of us with a trim waistline. My jacket required some dramatic alterations to take several inches out of the waist. The tailor couldn't take out as much as they wanted without effecting the rest of the jacket. Taking the waist in and adjusting the sleeve length cost another $160. #3. Exchange Policy: If you need to exchange an item due to improper fit, Shepler's will not ship the re-ordered item until after they receive the original order. I wanted this sportscoat to wear when I take my wife out to dinner for her birthday. I had to pay $7.00 for a refund so I could immediately place an order for a 42R. Their shipping is extremely slow! I placed the order on a Thursday with expedited shipping ($29), it did not arrive until the following Wednesday. All in, I've spent well over $350 on this jacket. It is now a very comfortable and looks great. It was a costly journey to get it there. At least for me, the lesson learned is to never again order a Cody James sportscoat listed as "Standard Fit".

I purchased the jacket for my son for Christmas. It looks amazing on him and he loves it as well. Excellent quality and fit.

Jacket is way more gray than what is depicted in any of the pictures. Quality seemed nice just not the color I was looking for.

My husband really likes his new light weight dress coat and it looks really good on him too. It is perfect for the renewal of our vows after 40 years.

My stepson was promoted in the Navy to Chief Petty Officer E7. I wore this jacket with a white western shirt, jeans, & boots ti the ceremony. I was asked to pin the anchor on his lapel. I am a very casual man and rarely dress up. I felt confident in this look. And my wife said I was hot.
