On a recent trip to the Sierra lake where I swim, I put my hat on the SUV roof, packed the stuff into the vehicle, and drove off. The hat blew off somewhere on the short way home, and when I retraced my way, it was already gone. It was a Shepler's Stetson, about a decade old, so in need of replacement anyway. The new one has flash and feathers now as well.

I bought this hat as I find women’s “one size fits most” or S/M/L sized hats are too small on me. This hat is bigger than I expected (in terms of crown height, not band size) but it still looks great. Now everyone knows me by my hat and are disappointed when I don’t wear it. Great value for a great hat.

Really good for the price, arrived in excellent shape. I added a US Calvary band and and 9th regiment badge, looks sharp!
