The shoes are difficult to put on on the first few times. Do not wear them brand new out to an event. And they have a very narrow width. I had no problem with thin ped like socks and wearing them around the house for a few hours for several days before I wore them to an event. My feet were still sore. If I would have sized up they would have slipped off my heel, which is narrow. This is not usual when I buy a quality boot. This was my first time buying this brand. Previous brands that I've not had an issue with are Justins, Ariat, and Sterling River. The price was right and you get what you pay for.
