This is my first Carhartt Jacket, my girlfriend bought it for me after I picked it out and I'm glad I decided on this one. It's warm and very cozy. It is a little heavy looking so if you want a better fit maybe you get a size down but if you want the extra warmth get your correct size. This jacket will keep you warm. I'm in the South but this jacket is great for the Winter regardless of where you live. Must buy if you want to be warm and cozy while outside for whatever reason.

Typical quality Carhartt jacket, only it's not nearly as warm as I thought. Then again, Carhartt is work wear, where you are more active than I have been in this jacket. Order a size up if you plan on cold weather (sub-freezing) and layer up.

This is my first carhartt purchase and I will say it did not disappoint. I was extremely happy with how it fit and looked on me. I love the soft yet durable quality of this jacket. It’s doesn’t scream flashy like the Bartlett jacket but still stylish without too much attention which I prefer. The Sherpa lining is very nice on the body and I like that it was omitted on the sleeves for easy removal. I do wish there was Sherpa lining inside the outer pockets but not a deal breaker since there is a soft lining instead. When you hold the jacket it feels heavy, but when you wear it, it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I can swing my arms freely from left to right, however, lifting your arms up will allow bottom jacket slightly exposed. I ordered two sizes because I wasn’t sure which size would fit me best between Small and Medium. I am 5’8” and skinny 130lbs with a 30” waist and I’m every happy with the size medium. I was concern this jacket would look too big / puffy on me but that was not the case at all. It fits true to size and gives me enough room for layering if I ever need it. The size small is more form fitting but it is short in length so your shirt will peak out below and there’s no room for layering. I recommend going with your true size. I live in Minnesota where temps below 0 degrees fahrenheit is normal but haven’t been able to test it in that kind of weather yet. But my first impression is I will most likely need to layer up to keep warm. You will also need to invest in a neck warmer if it’s super cold since the zipper doesn’t go past the neck leaving room for cold air to enter. Overall this is an awesome jacket and I absolutely love it. It will be my go to jacket and I plan to layer up with neck warmer if necessary.

Normally wear a large. I bought an extra large and it’s perfect. My son is 5ft10inch and weighs close to 200 pounds.

This jacket is warm, fits as expected, and is solidly constructed. It will undoubtedly stand up to even the harshest Minnesota winter.

Love the jacket my second one didn’t need it but liked the new color. Have the moss green one also great jackets warm comfortable and rugged. I would definitely recommend this product and all carhartt products I have their sweatshirts,shirts,watch hats and gloves.

I really love this jacket. It fits very well and is very warm. The only things I don’t care for are minor such as. The finish on some of the stitching seems a little cheap and the chest pocket zipper I thought should be metal. Just minor details that could be a little better for the price point this jacket is at. But overall I’m happy with it.

Love this jacket. Right out of the box it just seems like a your favorite comfortable jacket. Lining is great and the washed duck just makes it feel fully broken in first time you wear it.

Bought it for my husband to work in. He loves it and it looks good on him! Would like to see a style with the sherpa lining in the arms also. He says it's very warm but doesn't over heat in it.

I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs. The medium fits perfect. The moss colorway is very cool and it's a just a nice heavy jacket that will make working outside in the winter more tolerable. Glad I went with this model of jacket!

the only thing wrong is i should have ordered sixe 2x instead of 3x sleeves and hood too big for me but because it has elastic in the wrist it works i love my carheart jacket nice and warm comfortable reccomend this jacket

Bought this for my son-in-;law, he was very pleased, really liked that it was water resistant, the way the bottom of the sleeves were made to help keep you warm and to keep the cold out, the zippers for the pockets

This jacket is very durable and warm! Whenever I wear it, I don't feel cold. Sometimes I layer underneath to ensure I don't get cold. There are lots of pockets. The sherpa liner helps with the insulation.

I thought I was going to have white Sherpa not green. The zipper is as solid as it can get. The fabric is heavy and well constructed. It will likely outlive me. It's incredibly comfortable and easy to get in and out of. One thing that's kind of annoying is the hood because it is such a heavy material it's a bit stiff and rubs against my ears. Eventually, I would imagine it will soften and drop down a bit as it gets broken in..

Love it. Really well made and comfortable. Warm. Looks good enough to wear out somewhere but it’s tough enough to work in if necessary. I like the open bottom and cuffs without the stretch fabric as on other carhartt jackets. More relaxed and chill looking. I’m 5’9” and weigh about 155 lbs. I’ve had other carhartts that were medium and they always felt too big. This time I got a small and it fits like a glove. Only wish the hood was a bit stiffer and not kinda flopping around so much. But I’m glad I purchased this one, I’ll be wearing it for years to come

This is the best Jacket for Colorado Winters. You stay warm and dry regardless of the weather. Can't feel the wind either. Well worth the money.

Every year I try to buy this specific jacket and it’s alwaytsold out. Really I cannot believe this all you do is make clothing it’s a really nice jacket. You would think about stocking more. Too Bad

The zipper fell apart the 2nd winter I wore it. For a brand supposedly known for toughness and durability it proved to be very wimpy. Not impressed, won't buy another one. Pants, yes, coat, never again.

Perfect jacket for those who spend a solid amount of time outside or just want a nice jacket. It doesn’t get overly cold here in Texas so it works great for those days it gets into the 20s, 30s, and 40s. I’m 5’11 around 180-185lbs with an athletic build and longer arms, and a Large fits great. It does fit a little short on the waist but I wear a ranch coat if I’m worried about draft from the wind. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this coat. It’s more of a coat, less of a jacket because it’s sooooo warm. I’m a woman, 5’3”, about 130lbs. And it fits me with enough room for a hoodie and two more layers underneath. The color is really versatile for day/night, work/play. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing Carhart for many years. I purchased a womans coat once and found that it does not keep me as warm as the mens coats. I only buy mens in size XL because when I need to add extra layers, I can. I really dont like giving up my broken in ones but they are so raggedy that now I am looking for the exact one i currently have. My daughter had something to say about my "2 hole pockets and shredded areas on the coat".....she ALMOST made me feel bad, but then I just remembered that it still keeps me super warm....I guess it will be my go- to for when I do snow. Now that I am older, I buy what keeps me warm....how a coat looks really doesn't concern me, however I like how this coat fits and feels. It is comfortable, roomy and has plenty of pockets. I must be warm.....this coat does the job every time! my only problem is that the zipper put always breaks

Great jacket for style and warmth. Well made with quality materials.

I'm 6'2", weigh 210 lbs. and have a broad chest and shoulders so I originally ordered an XL because most other brands fit me well. The XL jacket length and sleeve length were fine but it was too baggy. Wind kept blowing up the jacket and it didn't keep the cold out (even when wearing a vest and hoodie underneath). I returned the XL jacket and ordered a Large-Tall (LT), which fit much better. The LT jacket length and sleeve length are perfect, it fits well and is not baggy, and there's enough room to comfortably layer up without restricting any mobility. I'm sure I could even gain 15-20 pounds and still fit comfortably in this jacket, even with layers on. For anyone with a similar body type (6'2", 210 lbs., broad chest/shoulders), I recommend the LT size. I do a lot of work outside and sometimes work with horses, the LT keeps the wind and cold out without restricting my movement or functionality. I hope this review helps anyone trying to make a sizing decision.

I love this jacket. I work in a climate controlled warehouse where it's always cold. Before I bought the jacket I always found myself getting cold chills at. Not anymore. Extremely warm and flexible to keep you comfortable all day long. Thank you Carhartt for standing the test of time.

Best fitting warmest coat I have ever owned. A little clumsy zipping it up in the dark...probably just not used to it yet.

It’s a large tall. The length is good, but it’s a little loose. I’m 6’2 188lbs. A regular fit would be nice. The relaxed is not necessary and the loose is ridiculous. Loose fit is definitely another size larger, so if you’re fat you can buy a size smaller and feel good about it!

Totally happy with the look and the warmth it will provide for Northern Canada winter.

Really nice jacket, but the sleeves are far too long on the Large Tall that I ordered. I've ordered plenty of large tall clothing over the years and these sleeves are way too long compared to anything else I've ever gotten.

Excellent quality coat. My son-in-law has had his for years, so I ordered one. Great color and fit true to size. Has zip up interior pockets which are super handy. Good hardware. Looking forward to years of wear.

This would be perfect for me if it had the internal rib-knit cuffs at the waist and zippers for the hand pockets like the chest pocket. I know I could get the J140 for the waist cuff, but I prefer the straight lines of this jacket. I would give it a Five Star with those two additions.

Great work coat. Got a tall for the back length,could have got a regular length, sleeves a little too long but I'm keeping it. Smooth zipper, inner knit cuff stops drafts. Have one like it without hood, it's my go to but getting ratty after many years of hard work. Good in rain and snow, maybe add a sweatshirt for real cold. Get one you won't be disappointed.

This jacket looks nice, doesn't appear super bulky & yet is so warm. My husband is 6"2 and did find it a little shorter than the Carharrt shirts in the same size. Very happy with this purchase

Returned. Sheplers has great customer service, but Carhartt is dead to everyone I know for the vax mandate overreach on their employees.

Just learning a lot about these Carhartt jackets I have an extreme but I find this warmer than my newer extreme well almost a toss up my other one is a J133 I think the fleece lining makes it warmer but it's gray so I chose not to wear this lighter colored one to work my all around one is my J001 from 2018 but for durability I find this and my extreme more durable from damaging equipment I'm around I hope these never get discontinued as these are the last of the best from Carhartt bring back to USA quality.

Excellent coat. Warm and plenty of pockets. My second one. Only complaint is the zipper. It is a little on the weak side the pull on my first coat broke Not the chain or the slider just the pull is weak. Still works though.Zippers ain’t what they used to be. I’m trying to be careful with this one. I’m 6ft 190lbs I bought the XL long fits great. First coat lasted 5yrs Easy wash and dry.

This jacket has far exceeded my expectations. I purchased it to throw on when I took the dog outside and for doing chores around the homestead, but find myself grabbing it all of the time. Much warmer than expected. My only complaint is the zipper is difficult to get started until coat is worn for a while.
