Just like the fleece I bought, this jacket is a little short as well. The size says 2XLT but it doesn’t fit like that size usually fits me.

Lightweight, true to size, plenty of pockets, fits well.

The absolute best gift by far. He thanks me every time he wears it, almost daily. He loves how lightweight and warm it is. The fit and durability is outstanding. I have bought 2 more already for other gifts.

Very nice jacket but not truly designed for the working man. If this was a working mans light jacket the pockets for hands would be zippered and not a flapped buttoned stile. The chest pocket and if there were zippers on the hand pocket should be facing down to close. The reason for this is due to zipper lanyards getting caught while working you don't want the pocket to accidentally open and you lose anything that you may have in your pockets. In general this is a nice light jacket to go out on the town with but if Carhartt really wants this to be a working mans jacket as well as something that you would wear out they would fix the pocket and zippers.

The fit and feel is great!! The problem is the stitching... it comes loose and breaks.

I really loved this jacket and it looked great online. I am 6'-5" 230lbs and ordered an XL Tall. Unfortunately, the coat fit me like an XXL and was way too baggy. The length was fine but it fit me like a trench coat and I ended up returning it and getting a different style coat that fit me perfectly in store (in the same size).... Carhartt has varying size discrepancies between products so your best bet is trying them on before purchase. Quality is still top notch. Very impressed with the jacket just wished it fit true to size or like the other ones I own.

Great fit, great jacket. It's very lightweight, and more of jacket for 40s & 50s Fahrenheit. Probably layers up well for colder temps. All the inner pockets are great as well. Home run.

I usually wear this with a hoodie and have been plenty warm in 20 degree weather. Only thing I wish is that it was a few inches longer. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

This jacket is awesome. High quality. Keeps me plenty warm. I have worn it to work. I wore it on a hike. It’s pretty light and extremely durable. I love this jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket, but the fit is a little funny, kind of boxy. Fairly warm. The finish is a bit shinier than I expected. Wish the cuffs were elastic rather than the Velcro. A small, but irritating feature is that the string that tightens the waste keeps catching on a pocketknife that I keep clipped in the front pocket of my jeans. The adjustment is just in the perfect spot to catch the clip on the knife. Overall, it's a pretty good jacket.

My 80 years young Father loves this jacket! He said it is warm and stylish without the bulk.For reference, he is 6’3, 250lbs and the Tall XXL fits nicely on him.

Lightweight, comfortable and warm. Pockets are a little hard to get into when trying to grab your keys quick.

Size runs true to other Carhartt products. I'm 5'-9" thin build and ordered a small and it fits great. Has a tight fit look, but can still be comfortable worn over other layers. Very wind resistant and rain does roll right off. The zipper does tend to get tangled on the inner flap of the jacket is the only down side so far.

I'll be purchasing a new one this year! (I ripped mine last year... but the store was out for the balance of the winter season). Great coat.

Love the jacket it’s very lightweight but actually keeps the heat in very well. I’m 5’10” 300 lbs and got the 3x it fits kind of loose like I can fit a sweater under it. Just depends on what fit you like. You can adjust the bottom of the jacket with draw cord and also the sleeves with Velcro so it fits nice

I returned the jacket because it didn't fit. I have the same exact jacket already, which fit perfectly, and wanted another in a different color. The same size, style, everything, yet fits differently???

I needed to exchange this for a smaller size. That experience was excellent. You were out of the color I originally ordered but I likes this one too. It is comfortable. It is the perfect weight for keeping me warm while being lightweight. I would buy another one if the color I originally ordered ever comes back.

It’s like a super lightweight Carhartt puffie jacket, I love this thing. Plenty warm for lower 40’s, quality is incredibly good, fit is excellent. Excited to wear for years.

My husband has only worn a Carhartt vest as a winter jacket for the last 4 years. It's been washed and dried dozens of times, and holds up beautifully. I was happy to find this jacket for him, it's exactly the same as his vest, but with sleeves. He loves it, and I know it will last him for years. I'm finally getting him to wear a winter jacket.

Great jacket. Lightweight yet very warm. Size Medium fit is perfect - not to baggy but not too slim fit. Length is perfect front and back. I'm 5'8" 160 pounds. Plenty of pockets. Fabric is tougher than what is normally found on this type of jacket. Room for a light fleece or 1/4 zip sweatshirt underneath. Also bought the vest!

The defender rain jacket is great. Excellent at keeping me dry in the harsh marine environment. Very comfortable and fits well on a large man such as myself

I actually acquired this jacket after a stranger left it at a house party....and I love it! It is lightweight, warm, packs easy and looks good. The only reason it don’t get 5 stars is because It doesn’t do very well in the rain. Mine might be a few years old though....I’m not sure!

Love this light and loose fitting jacket! Does well in the wind and rain and can layer under it for added warmth. Love the color, the pockets, and the look of the jacket. Although it was in the "mens" section, I love the way it fits me. Perfect for winters by itself up to about 32 degrees, layer underneath if its colder than freezing.

The large tall was really more of an extra large with long arms. It's still a quality product, but could have used a better fit.
