I have been in this country for 20 years. I have not bought a coat or jacket yet. What a surprise to find out that the zipper is backwards from what I have done all my life. Except for this little cultural shock, great product.

Great vest for those cool spring days. I’ve worn it a couple times a week since I got it. Carhartt is making me want even more vests !

I really like the vest, and they fit well by ordering a size smaller than my usual Carhartt size. I purchased the Carhartt tan, and now a granite as well. The zipper should be heavier duty, but I can live with it. My only real complaint is that the Sherpa lining is wearing off around the neck line where it rubs against my skin. I shave daily, but apparently my rough beard is wearing the Sherpa away.

Awesome product! Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. It feels very high quality - durable material, good stitching, nice design. Note that sizes run very large! Like up to 2 sizes larger than your usual. I originally ordered the medium for him and it was way too big. He is 6'1" and about 165 lbs; the small is still big enough for him to wear a sweatshirt and a jacket underneath for cold days. (For comparison, my dad tried on the medium; he is 6 ft. and about 190 lbs and it was a good fit but not snug over a t-shirt or a light jacket.) So, keep that in mind. Otherwise, no complaints! It looks really nice too.

I first saw this vest on Tom Selick in an insurance commercial and thought it would look great on me... it does. And nice and ward in the cold weather.

The "Lose Fit" threw me off. It actually felt like it was 1 size up. I had to return for a smaller size.

This is the fourth Carhartt Mock-Neck vest I have owned. I wear them all year long and they provide just the right amount of warmth for any situation. They are super durable and last for years. I have always worn a size medium and and been more than satisfied with the quality, so I ordered a medium. A couple of days later while looking at other Carhartt products, I decided to read reviews that people had written about the Mock-Neck. Many people have said in their reviews to go a size down. Based on what they said, I ordered a size small. Both vests arrived a day apart. The medium vest was huge on me but the small was just right. I contacted customer service and spoke to Betty, who was extremely helpful with returning the medium vest. The only thing that I kind of don’t like about the vest is the zipper. I preferred the zipper that all my other vests had. That’s just my personal opinion. That being said, it is still a five star product. Carhartt rocks!,,

I’m 6’4” and 230 pounds. All my other vests are XLT (extra large tall and fit well). This vest has about 8” of extra material around the belly. If you’re 300 plus pounds, this is the best for you.

It’s pretty good vest, and only reason I give 4stars is - very warm and would be nice if it would come with adjustment on the waist area or come up with fitted size like athletic or.. My husband is XL on his shoulders and M on his waist. Because it feet’s ver good on his shoulders but very bulky around his waist . But he still enjoys his vest.

Way too big in the waist. Can't even wear it, looks ridiculous.

Nice vest. Runs a little big, at least for me. Ordered a Medium, returned for a small. Small Fits great. I'm 5'11" 155lb. The Sherpa is a smidge itchy on the neck. Wish they did the collar a different material. But, I'm sure once it's broke in it won't be an issue. I wear a hoodie under it for now. I prefer vest over jackets to keep my arms free to work so it was kind of a must buy for me with the cold weather coming. Love the vest though. Good purchase.

Way to big on me. Size chart is not accurate. Nice vest though. Will just get in smaller size.

My husband had always worn a medium in these vests and the vest was HUGE. I don’t even know if a small would fit. We sent the vest back.

Bought this for my boyfriend... He Loves it because he is tall and it dips down in the back. It is very warm and substantial without being too heavy.

Nice enough vest for winter warmth, but previous Carhartt was a heavier(5-star), button snap-up version which apparently is no longer available. I've had many of your vests in the past. They've held up well in harsh work and weather conditions for the most part. But the cheap, lightweight zipper has always been below par, and the first thing to go. The button snap-up would be a huge improvement! At least the multiple pocket layout remains the same.

Love it! Definitely keeps you warm on the cool mornings. Has the perfect amount of pockets. My only suggestion would to change the velcro out on the one inside pocket to magnet because the velcro catches on the sherpa

Great looking vest and tough as nails. If you’re thinking about buying, stop thinking about it and just get it! Runs big, I had to size down but I usually have to do that with most Carhartt items.

I love this vest. It is so comfortable and the slight slit on the pocket works great to put my needle nose pliers in when ice fishing. So warm and durable

I wore it for about two weeks then washed it alone with a mild detergent and it faded to a bluish color.

Okay, I really like this vest because of it durability, style and comfort it is also very warm. My only complaint is the collar is very stiff and turns in on my neck so annoying.

I ordered a medium and this product runs large. I recommend ordering down a size for a better fir.

Bought a Medium for my 20 year old son who is 5'11" and weighs 140 lbs. It fits great with enough room for him wear it over hoodies, etc. I know he'll wear this for years to come.

I like it alot keep's me warm. I bought the coat too love the lining in both. Keeps me warm on the cold day's. I recommend both the coat and vest. Sherpa lining is great.

This would be everything I want if it came in extra small. Trying on this vest I could feel a draft flow right up my back because it was not well fitting. 5'11" - 135lbs

I wear a brown medium (5'9"/165lbs fit male.) 4 days a week 10 hrs a day manufacturing stone tiles, printing. Works way better than an apron for me. Ordering 1of every color now. Very tough material, photos don't do these vests justice. Not a paid actor. Be safe, be happy y'all!

The weight, the canvas feel and pockets are all great in design and function

A small portion of the Right outside front pocket is not sowed in. I can stick my finger in and out of there .

It is very warm and fits well over my fleece/flannel shirt.

Very nice Vest but unfortunately the size is way off, I have 3 mock neck sherpa lined V33 Vests made in Mexico and size Small is perfect , this was the reason i bought this bit instead this is much bigger size , even like a large... I wll not teturn it as i live in south America but i will have to sell it . A pity because i would have liked to use it / by the way this was made in India not Mexico..

I was trying to decide between this one and the V01 Duck Vest. Glad I went with this one. The outer layer is already broken in and softer and the pocket situation is way better. Add to that the mock neck which is way more comfortable. Love love love.

Sizes are whacky on this, shoulders are good but the bottom fits like a tent and is super awkward. Seriously can't believe they discontinued the hooded duck reg fit vest. Quality has slid dramatically the last few years.
