If you have a bigger butt, might want to go a size up, but overall stylish and functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying these bibs. I bought one size down from the insulated bibs and the fit very nicely. Now I have a pair for cold and warmer weather.

Bring back the RO1! I'm at a lose as I've been wearing the RO1 for many years and these just don't measure up. The fit is way too baggy, bib pocket is ok (I guess). I carry tools up there not gadgets or devices. The elastic in the waist makes me feel like I'm wearing a girdle. The absolute worst change is the front pockets. Don't keep anything in them if you plan on crawling or rolling around because you'll be loosing everything. The new design makes these pockets too shallow. These used to be work clothes, but it seems like they have become more of a "week ender", lifestyle fashion statement. "If it isn't broken, let's fix it 'till it is."

I have been wearing Carhartt since I was born, but this new suspender connection on the chest is junk had these for a few months and I’ve done had to replace both of them, I wish for the Old style button connection to come back, I had my last pair for almost 20 year without a single problem.

The sizing chart is no where near correct. You can’t put the correct pants sizing in for starters. I chose my brand and the size chart lists xl l sm m and so on. When my overalls arrived they weren’t even close to fitting. The positive side is your return procedure works very well so thank you for that. However I think it should be noted better on the description of the item on what potential oversizing is needed when ordering.

Love the fit, also love the double front and the extra zippered pocket in the bib. I have a pair of the "old style' and I like these much better. I do wish the knee pads were removable though, possibly through a zippered pocket?

The fit of the overalls is good as is the quality of the material. I hate the weird fastener used for the straps and would have much preferred the old standard button and metal slot fastener used on older brands that I have worn. Speaking of buttons, the top right hand side button fell apart during my first attempt to close it, very poor-quality materials chosen for them it appears. My main complaint is that there is no zipper or Velcro opening in the lower legs. It would be nice to be able to fit the overalls over work boots as required. I know this might seem trivial, but I wanted something that I could slip over my jeans and boots as a layer of protection and warmth when I needed.

Strong well made quality overalls. The pockets are great and the fit is spot on. 6'1 175lbs medium fits perfectly.

Please bring back the original R-1, I hate the new bibs. Put the hammer loop back on the left because it is almost never used. Make the pocket on the side the same as the old r-1, so it can fit both a 10" proto crescent wrench and 10" knipex at the same time. Just go back to making the original R-1. I wear my bibs 10 to 12 hrs per day as a construction millwright.

I pretty much wear overalls all the time. I’ve tried other brands and they just don’t hold up like these. I abuse them daily and they continue to serve me well. I have one pair that’s finally full of holes, frayed at the hems and loosing a bit of stretch on the elastic suspenders. I wore them 5 days a week for a solid year just to see how much abuse they could take...still wear them at the farm but my wife refuses to be seen with me in public if I don this particular pair of work armor any more. I’ve worn Carhartt clothing for work, recreation and (on occasion) in a business casual/semi-formal gathering (a button-down and a tie work with the black overalls). They’re just well made, comfortable, durable and long lasting clothing items. I don’t know if I’m going to try another brand or not. Why mess with what works.

They fit great, i would highly recommend them for any tradesman great flexibility and very durable.

I wore these everyday surveying this last year, finally ripped the crotch through but I'd say I got my moneys worth. The knee pads are work pretty well too, just get the largest size.

I love them, I was watching a Carhartt WIP skate video and I saw a dude wearing overalls, he looked cool so I went online to order some. The only Problem Is WIP is mad expensive. But as an electrician, I thought it in my best interest to buy a pair for work. So for both work and skateboarding, they are top notch. Falls that would have chewed through other clothes did not leave so much of a scratch in these. The front pouch can hold everything; tools, lighters joints, you name it. I will be buying more and make this into my trademark style

None of the pockets are big enough to fit my wallet or a pair of gloves in. The pockets on the side are not deep enough to keep keys etc. from falling out when sitting down.

Surprised my man with these for his birthday. Got the same size he wears in pants, the overalls fit perfect. He was able to layer up easily and loved the fit of it.

Comfortable, cool and worth every penny. I love them, people compliment me on them, and I can wear them on set or out for a drink.

Great pair of bibs. I really like em. The only thing I don't like is that I looked at the charts, ordered my exact size, and for bibs that are relaxed fit they were kinda tight when bending over and squatting. Overall though I'm not disappointed and pretty happy about my purchase.

You guys are, Hands Down, the best!! I, literally, live in your product. I couldn't imagine working without Carhartt products some where on my body. I have your overalls, lined and unlined, I have your jackets, vests, and boots. If you guys made cowboy hats, I'd wear that too!! Keep on doing what you do!!!

I bought them for my 22 yr old son and he absolutely loves them. Fit is perfect and quality - Amazing!
