[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good two in one hat the does what it is supposed to. The gray hat looks like green to me and the seams make your head bigger because they don’t lay perfectly flat but, it keeps me warm and my forehead doesn’t itch.

Comfortable, warm, durable. I’m generally pretty rough on my work Gear. I’m outside in blizzards and large storms for 4-5 months out of the year and this is my go to. Underneath a waterproof jacket with hood, this will get me through the day.

Ear flaps too loose around the ears. Scarf awkward to pull down. Looks ridiculous. Photo looks good, but experience not what expected.

It is one size to small. But works great.

Kansas Wind Cant Blow this Hat off your Head

The winds in the winter of Kansas can be brutal. This hat was a lifesaver. The nose mouth covering piece holds the ear flaps down. No one in the family has gotten a cold or flu so far this year. I got one of these for every member in the family. Paired with the hood on your jacket your head wont even notice its winter. Highly recommend!!!

Great product. Bought three for my sons who are Police Officers and work in the northeast. I had the letters of the respective departments stitchedon the front. Now in blizzard conditions they are prepared for the elements.

I have asthma and the cold weather makes me cough and my lungs hurt. this fleece head ware is the best thing since sliced bread!! it is warm, it stays in place. it was for men, but it did fit me snugly.so it runs a bit small-but I still love it. it makes those early cold morning cores a breeze!!

The Carhartt fleece 2-in-1 headwear is serious winter gear. My first was provided by my employer years ago and this one I purchased myself based on the performance and durability of the last. Living in the south there are only a few months of serious cold but this hat comes in handily when needed.

I bought one, last year, and LOVED it. It was 15 degrees opening morning of MO firearm season and my head did NOT get cold. I recommend this hat for EVERYONE. Liked it so much, I bought 2 more (brown for me and black for my wife).

The hat fits loose and the mask is really tight like to tight to even wear. I thought it would be the other way around but I guess not so I'm alittle disappointed. Usually everything I get from Carhartt has alwys been excellent.

This review is for the second fleece hat I bought. This one is for work. I used my first both for work and jogging in below freezing temperatures. Ears stay warm, I get a lot of compliments on the look from coworkers, and the face cover is nice for the biting wind, easy to breathe through.

Very warm, comfortable, and felt awesome underneath my active jacket hood. Unfortunately it's kind of a hassle because the facemask is sewn to the beanie, so you have to wash the entire hat every day. Now days, we all know that it's completely gross to wear your cloth facemask without washing it after each use.

Very pleased. Great quality. Excellent fit. Love the facemask on this hat; provides great coverage and warmth, but is easy to breathe through. Easy to wash and dries very quickly on very low heat. I have bought three!

This hat has worked great for me during winter ops at a Oregon airport and in the cold, windy plains of North Dakota. I’ve used this beenie while de-icing aircraft in a man basket at 4 in the morning with below zero weather and pounding posts in -°10 wind. The beenie is very warm and does a good job protecting the ears, the drop down face mask works really well to keep the edge off. The one minor annoyance I could find is that when you are wearing a hard hat, the beenie will bunch up a bit weird on top of your head but then again it’s winter, things are going to bunch up. 10/10 would recommend!

I bought 4 of these in different colors for my kids and husband. They all love them!!! The hat keeps the harsh winter elements from hurting their skin and lips. The hat washes really nice too. I only have one complaint, they need to come in girl colors so I can buy one too!!!

Love this hat wear it all winter. The only thing I would change is a better way to fold or tuck the face mask when it becomes the liner.

This hat keeps your ears and your face extremely warm! If you don’t want to hear the face mask just tuck it back into the hat and wear just the hat. The face mask blocks the wind and isn’t a bother while wearing it. Thank you cathartt for another great product.

These hats are are great on cold windy days. My head clean shaven and normal knit hats are not warm enough. These are very warm and drop down slightly further for more coverage as a conventional hat. Plus they offer face coverage when its really cold

Nice concept, but not terribly warm. This is good for the 20-30 degree days. When it's colder the hat doesn't cut the cold enough. It's perfect to keep in my truck for emergency situations.

I love these hats, I have 3 of them. Just like carhartt clothes they are all different sizes, even though one size fits all. I just recently purchased a black one to replace my yellow one I sleep with but, it's to big. Im going to see if it will shrink in the wash. I still love my hat

Had high hopes for this hat because of the built-in ear flaps, however, it’s ridiculously too large causing it to come down to my eyes, even below my eyes, and while the ear flaps cover my ears, which is a good thing, the flaps come down to my neck. I look totally stupid in this thing and I have an average-size head. I’m guessing this hat was designed for someone with a massive head.

Great product. I was skeptical about the facemask portion, but it works great. Hides away when you don't need it, and keeps you warm and secure when you do. I bought 4... 3 as gifts and one for myself. So Glad I got one for myself.

I have had two of these for 4-5 years now. B'day presents from my kids. They are my nasty windy weather hat. I have a very small head so it does move a bit when not using the facemask. I can flip the ears up when I'm warm or drop down. Considering the ears don't strap down, they do a good job keeping my ears comfortable. I sewed a strip of 'high vis' material on the back of each. Not a fashion show hat BUT functionality over fashion is my credo. Typical of Carhartt, the price is about $10 too high.

Love this hat. Super functional. Very warm with the mask down for feeding horses in blowing snow. Tucks up in the hat when you don’t want it. Not sure why it’s labeled men’s. Very happy with my purchase. Need more colors!

My husband received one of these as a Christmas gift a few years ago but he found it far too snug for comfort on his rather large cranium. I ended up claiming it a year later when my car refused to start one ridiculously cold morning (it was pushing -50 with the wind chill) and ended up having to walk to work. I've been using it ever since. I've saved so much time and money not having to mess with scarves (ugh, tedious!), and it's still holding up well. Don't feel a darn thing, it's a life saver!

This is a great hat for those windy days in Colorado. I use it over a baseball cap because I have a small head. It was nice and warm. Just wish the face/neck piece covered the back of the neck.

Bought for my boyfriend and he loves it! Really handy how the neck piece stays inside the other when not needed. So you don’t have to detach and reattach each time.
