The website that I got them from said the boots were a little larger as you find your size. So I ordered 9.5 instead of 10 There a little snug. Should of ordered the 10.

Purchased these for my new husband just because. He is from LA so this boot has that rock star look and feel. He loves them!

Good leather, nice fit, and I like the white stitching , well worth the price.

The boots seem to be made well but too wide in the foot and heel and too tall in the instep area

Good soles they grip the road nice , and the Leather is already softened.

Product was way to small. needs to be wide. tight fit , from top to bottom.

Boots are made too narrow in the shaft. Tried them in my size, didnt fit ordered 2 sizes up didnt work either. Great looking boot such a shame. Sheplers handled the returns perfect, great company to do business with. Thanks

Not too many offerings these days since Chippewa, Carolina, Double H and many others discontinued their engineer boot line…. I ordered these on a whim, and whilst not the same quality as the big name brands were… I think for the price you can’t go wrong…!! I actually ordered a 2nd pair just in case these are discontinued in the near future….

Excellent quality boot. As others have said, the size runs small and narrow. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and the just barely fit. My feet are fairly narrow, so the width works for me, but I could easily see how they'd be too narrow a lot of people.

1st pair I bought was in the early 80s. Most comfortable Boot I ever had. Wore them everywhere. Had them resoled 3 times. Could never find another good pair to replace them until now. Cody James is the only way to go.

I bought this boot after exhausting my attempts to find a US Made boot in my size! I looked at the redwings but realized they are now made in china, but at the same price as it was when made here! These Cody James Engineers are every bit as good and less than half the $$ a little wide but for under $100 I'll deal with it!

The Brothers and Sons men's engineer boots do run small. I have been the same size boot since Marine Corps boot camp in '72 (9N),but with these boots I had to go with a size 10 1/2 D to fit properly. Once they were broken in they fit well.

I only wore them twice, I like them a lot! I like the heel being 2 inches!

I love the boots, very well made, however they are not true to size. I wear a 10 and the boots are way too big. If a wear 3 pairs of socks they fit somewhat better

The first pair arrived covered in mold. The second pair of my usual size did not fit. The third pair, one full size up, did not fit. I gave up.

Great Boots. They are sturdy and the leather seems to be good quality. They do bleed black a little on initial wear. They fit true to size.

Boots we're not the same size. One was a 10, and one a 10.5 Not normal for Boot Barn.

Strap came broken, too much; of a hassle to return, so I am taking it to a shoe repair.

I wish that I read about the boots better because the lower half is not leather. That sucks.

Boots fit very wide and leather stretches easy making them sloppy. Doesn’t seem like very good quality.

These are good boots, so far. The fit was correct and they appear to be good quality leather and are breaking in nicely. The industrial sole is good and doesn’t track mud into the house, which is why I prefer that sole on my daily wear boots. Heel height is as I desired, not to tall. Though the heel does lack a soft rubber pad on the bottom, so the heels are noisy when walking.As is common for dyed leather boots, they do rub off a lot of black dye onto white socks, which should pass in time. The dye marks on the socks wash out with no extra effort. Overall, a decent boot, made in Mexico instead of China. I would have preferred American Made, but nobody had my size in stock after over a year of looking. I only wear this style boot as an everyday boot, so I looked hard for a new pair to replace the pair that I’ve been wearing for 30 years. Will these Cody James last 30 years like the boots they’re replacing? Probably not. Time will tell.

Have only just started wearing these, but have been very happy with my other Cody James boots and bought these entirely based on the brand.

These are to be my "Santa" boots when NOT in full costume. They're well-built and look good! HoHoHo.

About a 1/2 size bigger than an 12 I have ever had. Soles are to thick and heavy to properly use the gear shift. Last pruchase fro Sheplers.

Excellent boot, it was what I was looking for, a good quality and an honest price, because engineer boots are not common here in Brazil. I am fanatical about this model due to the influence of the Hot Rods of the 50s and the Choppers of the 60s since I was a child and I am extremely satisfied with the product. And this boot goes perfectly with a Levis 501 pants or a black Jeans to which the buckle is apparent, it is something extremely aesthetic!

probably order a pair with vibram soles and better insole pads -- shipping was good and product wears fine...

I ordered them and they arrived quickly but were severely undersized. I sent them in for exchange but got a refund instead. I wanted to trade the 10.5 for a 12 size because they were sized very small. My money was refunded no problem but I wanted the boots. No hard feelings. I grew up on Sheplers and will likely still buy there, but only in person from now on.

Very well made Quality Boot - Feels Great ! I bought the same size as I do in western boots - 12D - a wee bit loose but with the proper thick socks everything adjusted just fine !

The boots seem well made, but they run terrible small in their sizing. I usually where an 11D, I had ordered 12D's previously as I knew they ran small. I returned those and purchased a pair of Size 13 D's. My toes are right against the toe of the boots. I measured them against my old Chippewa Engineer boots size 11 D and the Brothers and Sons engineer boots are still 1/4th of an inch shorter. Apparently, the boot maker in Mexico does not use a true sizing guide. I'll return these as well. But they are nice boots, they just run tiny.

I've boughten this boot a few times before, and it has always run true to size (9-1/2D). The boots that I just received, (same size), ran VERY narrow. Visually, they looked 1/2 the width of my old boots. I couldn't even get them on my foot. I spoke to customer service. They said it's the same boot, different manufacture. There was not a suitable alternative, and I returned them. Sadly, I had to look elsewhere. I deffinitly would not recommend.

I purchased these boots a few weeks ago and they've been easy on my feet during break in. I like they way they're put together look and feel solid with tight stitching. Boots are true to size listed.

The boots look really good in person. They are very difficult to get on the foot, but I have a high end step. But once they're on they fit fine they a good week-long break in period is needed and some leather conditioner to soften up the leather.

I'm loving these boots! They are a little tight to get the feet in so I got 1/2 size up. The pros at Boot Barn helped me to get the right fit. These are classic old school motor patrol issue. They feel solid and look great while riding my Goldwing.

Great looking boots! Generous sizing, no crammed toes. Husband loves them. Haven’t worn yet because they are Xmas gift but not expecting any issues. Normally I would order him wide with but didn’t need to according to reviews and when he tried them on they fit great. Nice leather and detail.

The shaft of the right boot was so small I struggles for 5 minutes to get my foot inside, I returned them for the square toe motorcycle boot and they were perfect.

Just bought my 3rd pair of these boots. Very comfortable and affordable. Non-slip is great for when on the bike and I wear them at work while walking on concrete all night. I highly recommend these and will be getting another pair in the future.

I was hesitant to buy them online when l discovered they were made in China. The quality of Chinese products varies considerably. However these appear to be made well and the leather is real (not that “bonded” junk found on some). However, if you are a stickler for “made in USA” look elsewhere.
