I've had my boots for 3 months, now that the grass is tall and wet in the morning my feet are soaked through after 20 minutes. These are supposed to be waterproof boots which is why I bought them. I guess I'll have to go back to Keen boots.

Wish it lasted a little longer but I did have them for 2 years. I used them for work and around the barn all the time!

Still, they are advertised as made to last, and they do not. I have had many pairs of them, and each pair lasted no more than one year, as the sole in front separates from the shoe. No amount of glue can get it then to stay affixed. Also, one would think that it is possible to supply shoe laces which stay tied. Other boots can do so, but with Ariat, after a short period of time, they simply will not stay tied without double knotting them, and eventually the ends fray and it is have to put them through the holes.

I've bought a new pair every year for the past 15ish years. I wear them all year but in the summer, I just wear them to the barn and change out with my Birkenstocks when I'm done at the barn. During the wetter, cooler months, I wear them constantly. I'm in the Puget Sound so we have very long, wet winters. If it's major storming, I wear my muck boots for more coverage. These boots are great right out of the box, no break in time. I wear them hiking, walking around the neighborhood, on the plane when going on trips, everywhere! My "go to" so I can "go to."

I do a lot of ground work with my horses and looked for a waterproof and comfortable shoe for bad weather days. Perfect also for riding. Ariat = always a good quality and fit!

All around great boot. Comfortable and good for working outside or running errands. Just be aware that the distressed brown is much darker than shown on the website. It doesn’t appear to be a leather variation because it is the same on other sites also including Ariat’s. Otherwise great boot.

Love these boots , I have been wearing this style for 6 years now. Fits is great right out of the box and they hold up to my farmish life very well!

I love these boots! They are easily worth $100. My last pair of Ariat boots just wore out after 8 years of regular riding.

This is my second pair of these boots. I wear them while riding motorcycle. Great for hiking also. Have always been waterproof when riding in rain. Has good arch support .

I ordered the wrong size shoes, but I didn’t realize I had done so until I wore one pair a day. I need to return the unopened pair, reorder 2 pair, & find a woman to buy the worn 10Bs I wore for a day. I wear 10 1/2 D but received 10B women’s. Otherwise, I have worn this model for years and love them.

I just ordered my second pair of Ariat Terrain H2Os in the last 4 years and I really have no words to describe the comfort, stability, and durability these shoes provide. I have a tendency to wear shoes beyond their life and it's been my experience so far with the Ariat product that it has a long wear life. They are the BEST riding boots and all-around footwear for working on farm projects and I can't recommend them highly enough!

I bought my original boots from an outlet store in Gilroy CA. Within a few months they had early wear. I posted my review here and Ariat contacted me. They replaced my boots with new ones. I could see the thicker materials on the toe and generally better quality. I have been wearing them for barn work and they are holding up well. None of the problems that the other pair had. I have gone on urban hikes in freezing weather and my feet stayed warm. This spring on snowy/muddy hikes with no problem. The sole is not aggressive so I would be careful using them for really rocky terrain with slippery pebbles. For barn work and riding they are just what I wanted. Ankle support, water proof, and good for riding. Ariat is still my favorite brand and I am grateful they responded to my concerns.

This boot is THE BEST i have ever owned and i am in my 50s! i bought 2 pairs for myself then 2 for my husband (one for the barn and one pair for everyday!) and also one pair each for my girls. it's been about 5 years of e every single day use and i am back for more! warm, dry , comfort. I do have flat feet and slip a dr scholls insert to give added comfort and I feel like i am walking on clouds! i am on my feet 14-16 hours a day-- split barn and inside. Only boot in my lifetime that my toes do not get frostbite! I have not used them outside on long hikes but my cement floor in that barn is brutal cold in winter and these boots are the only ones my family doesn't hear me screaming and see me running inside! they will stretch/break in a bit and are very comfortable first time.

Need waterproof for barn chores and these fit the bill. No break in needed, fit perfectly right out of the box. Ariat is my go to for riding boots and chore boots

My last Ariat boots lasted me 12 years. I figured I'd give the brand another try since they were so great. So far, they are fulfilling my high expectations in durability, comfort, and versatility. Thank you again, Ariat. I am happy to know there are brands out there that one can still count on.

I was recommended these boots about 9 years ago by fellow riders. I’m so glad they did. I just ordered my 3rd pair!! I wear these boots 7 days a week & they hold up to anything the barn and my horse throw at me. They are comfortable for chores and are amazing for riding. There was no break in period like i had with other boots. They also keep my feet cool in the summer & warm in the winter. They also last a long time. My current boots are still in perfect shape and are several years old with several years of life left in them. I highly recommend them!

These boots are amazingly comfortable and attractive. The first time I wore my first pair, I didn't have any tender areas on my foot that needed breaking in.

As an endurance rider you are on your feet a lot, theses are the best boots I have ever owned. They break in as soon asyou put them on, good sizing andsocomfy!

I live in them when I am not wearing mud boots. This is only my 3rd pair in 15 years, so they last a long time too. My favorite by far!

I have purchased numerous Terrain Waterproof boots for the last 10 years. Something has happened with the quality of these and other Ariat boots. In fact, at the horse rescue ranch where I volunteer, a few of the other gals agree with me about this significant decline in quality (and increase in price!). This review is for the latest pair of Terrain Waterproof boots I bought about two years ago. I wear these boots twice per week at the ranch for about 5 hours each day. My feet are KILLING me by the time I'm done and this did not start happening until my last pair (which I replaced with these and now have to replace again - but this time with a different brand). Also, my feet feel like they are on fire after my day is done. I'm just really sad that Ariat quality has taken a tumble - there were so many years where their women's boots were unbeatable. I gave them two stars because they are still pretty well waterproofed!

My only criticism of these boots is that they do not come in small sizes for petite women. I take a 6 but my 17 year old daughter needs a size0.208333333333333nd the smallest size madeis 5.5 which is too bigfor her even when she wears 3 pairs of socks. Sadly this means that my daughter misses out on a great product as do a lot of her friends who also have small feet. I think a size 5 is more common than most people think.

This is the 4th pair I have purchased! I love my H2O'S and literarily wear them every day. I also own an insulated pair as well as Fat Babies and a 12" square toed boot. Love my Ariat's!
