I also ordered a CAT brand boot to try out both and immediately knew i'd be keeping the Ariat. Day 1 of wearing these I had them on for about 6 hours hauling landscaping stone. They keep my feet warm but not sweaty. They look great and are clearly well-made and very sturdy. The quick lace is a game changer. Laces feel good and don't easily come untied. Literally love these boots. Ariat, please never change this model!

I've worn these both at the nursery I work for and on my property doing work , and working for my friends with their livestock. I have worn them for about 4 months now, and really enjoy them. Only con is that sometimes they are a little loose around the ankles but to no extreme that I find uncomfortable. I can walk through puddles, muddy woods, stalls and corals , and wet concrete floors in greenhouses where is frequently splash my feet with garden hoses and work in the pouring rain. I have found them to be completely waterproof. That being said I would never intentionally fully submerge them. For the purpose of what I do splashing around, getting the toe box wet, stepping in sloppy mud up to the soles, it's been very reliable footwear. If the water is cold I can somewhat feel the temperature but no moisture. I'm really happy, I'd get these again.

I just recieve'd my boots about two weeks ago, the shipping was quick! I have a couple of pairs of riding boots and a pair of clogs so whenI needed a workboot this was mychoice, I LOVE THEM. I bought a different pair with the "comp toe" (not this model, but since I don't have my order history and they don't put the model name on the shoes, I don't know which one it was) and I LOVEd how the sole felt, super good for my lower back, I was happy every day because if it. But the comp toe was put into the toe of the boot that fit me. In other words it was pinching the heck out of my feet at the front and I have now gotten the Macey boot to replace those. I like this boot but it is wider on my foot so slippery side to side just a little, and the leather is really poor quality. I may take off a star after I wear it another month or two.

Purchased for work! First day worn and no breaking in required! These boots will only get better in time!

I'm both a conservationist and florist, and spend as much time installing botanical design work at uppity venues as I do tromping through the woods foraging materials or doing trail maintenance, but these boots are appropriate for both environments! Sturdy, perfectly snug, not too clunky, pretty inconspicuous as industrial work footwear goes, and up for the beating they take on the daily. Super happy with my choice of this boot.

Super happy with these boots! The color is pretty especially after they’re oiled, the laces stay tied without double knotting them and the boot itself is sturdy and well made. Having wide feet is usually a struggle for me but these have enough room where my toes don’t feel squished. Only complaint is there’s no arch support and they’re a little hard on the bottoms so you’ll want to get inserts if you’re on your feet all day.

Good fit and comfortable, but the leather is not very good quality. It is thin and does not have much body and even when conditioned regularly does not hold up or look very good.

Super comfy, stylish waterproof, lightweight which was very important. My only drawback is they could use some cushion inside the boot, however that is easily resolved with some cushion insoles. They look great with jeans and I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. Would definitely recommend these and would definitely purchase again!

I have about 10 miles on these now, & am very happy. I take my dog for long walks off trails. Modern light weight hiking boots let all sorts of weeds penetrate through the material. These leather boots keep the weeds & seeds out. Combined with short gators, I don't have to waste time picking debris out of the linings of my shoes & socks after the walk, & no 'duchies' on the trail.

Wore these for two weeks and they were still stiff and uncomfortable. But the final straw was when a heifer stepped on my toe. The regular toe apparently still has some structure to it, which collapsed into my toes and stayed there til I took the boot off. If it had been a full sized cow my toes would have been severely pinched. I expect unreinforced toes to be soft so they can compress and then spring back to normal. I'll have to put up with my old worn out boots til I can find something else-- not putting these on again!

After ruining several pair of other brands of shoes working on my small homestead I decided to look into a good pair of boots that would take the abuse I’d put them through. At first they were a little tight, but after wearing them a small handful of times they stretched a little and have now become my favorite shoes. I usually struggle with sizing due to my slightly wide feet but these were spot on. I have a good amount of wiggle room for my toes. I highly recommend these boots!

I have been a devout Ariat boot and clothes fan for decades. I wear Ariat for work because they are comfortable and durable. I love them for fashion. And I now wear them for casual comfort. The styles are timeless and their performance is perfect for hard outdoor work with my animals or field.

This is the 2nd pair of this style I have purchased. Have needed work boots at my job for 16 years, never have I found a pair that I wanted to buy twice. The fit is almost exact. One of the features I like about this boot is that it is not completely lined with padding. Too much padding just falls apart. The leather is sturdy and supportive and the sole has held up extremely well to walking on metal grates all day. I wear a size 11, so the first task is to find a boot in my size. Finding one in my size that checks off all the other boxes for me is a refreshing surprise!

I bought a few months ago, in anticipation for my new job. Walked my dog in them on the weekends trying to break them in. They didnt seem to need it. Super comfortable from day 1. 1st 3 days on the construction site went well but the 4th I came home with blisters in the top of both my feet. Im finishing up my 2nd week and my blisters hurt so bad. The stitches are rubbing them like crazy. New (slip in) boots this weekend hoping to let them heal. So sad because i really loved these. Wish my options for work boots were not so limited.

On my 3rd set of soles. I bought these in 2003, I rode a motorcycle in them for 12 years, My ambulance drives kept them for me when I had my accident. Waitress in them for 8 years, walked all over New York City a couple of times and always wear them to go out. Now, I've turned them into my go too boots for hiking anywhere from 14 to 1 mile in a day. Too bad I can't replace the inside of them that are getting worn. Within six months I wear a hole in the top of my tennis shoe. So, I know I'm hard on them. I've never owned a pair of boots than have become so much a part of me. If these boots could talk.

I’ve been buying the Macy Workboot for almost ten years. I keep three pairs going, good enough, better, and best. I wear them everywhere for everything. My risk of injury, my comfort, and support are the most important, but they also look good.

Very well made and structured perfectly. I didn't buy them for work, but for weekend wear. Love that they are rugged, but not overly blockly. So comfortable and give the right amount of support. Highly recommend.

I wear these every day working on a construction site, and I'm very happy with them. I do recommend replacing the insoles with something with a little more cushion, though. But they're quite comfortable otherwise, and very well made.

I had a similar pair of Ariat work boots that I purchased about 3 years ago...I finally wore them out after a few yearsof farm work and wasonthelookoutfor another pair.I found out that theystopped makingthe ones that I had, but every pair of Ariats I tried on were too narrow for my feet. Thankfully, I decided to look online and found these that come in C instead of the typical B and finally found a pair of boots that fit my wide feet. Very comfortable and excellent for farm and field work! Have already recommended them to a coworker...I'm thinking I'm gonna love these just like I loved my previous pair.

I’ve been wearing these boots for five years. They are so comfortable but I wear them out because I walk so many miles a day in them. I will stay with them as long as I work and I greatly appreciate how the boots feel on my feet. Super comfortable right from the start, they are waterproof and slip resistant so while I am working on a tiled floor I don't have to worry about wet floors. Not too mention pretty fashionable with a pair of jeans!

These boots are not your typical comfortable Ariat boot. I purchased these boots in March of 2023 & it's now June. Still just as uncomfortable as the day I put them on. I was shocked at the lack of padding on the insole and how painful they are to wear so I took the insoles out of one of my other Ariat pull-on boots and compared and this boot's was paper thin. I was very disappointed as the reason I chose Ariat is because of the 6 other pairs I own and the consistently comfortable out-of-the-box wear of them. There's no trying on women's safety boots in store as no one carries a good selection of them. Do not purchase these if you are going to be on your feet for more than a couple hours as while they look good, my heels are killing me at the end of the day. I purchased some aftermarket insoles and this only made them slightly better. Size 10, Normal width, not overweight, no foot issues.

These are great boots. Comfortable arch support and width. Lightweight. Durable. True to size. My second pair. Would definitely buy again.

Best (and cutest) women's work boot that I've found! I tried Danners, Redwings, Blundstones, Redbacks, you name it. Perfect for indoor and outdoor work. The boots have held up well to water and mud. I wear a size 11 and they fit very true to size and width and they did I mention that they're cute?! I've received so many compliments from men and women alike. I'm so happy I found these boots!!

Comfortable to wear right out of the box! I especially like the sole. It is not a lug sole that collects mud, it has traction, but isn't clunky. I gave 4 stars because I would prefer eyelets to hooks and I replaced the laces with regular cotton shoe laces. These boots replaced the nubucks I had for more than twenty years. They finally cracked, my husband glued the soles together, but the stained unbuckle finish was pretty unsightly. If these last another 20 years I'll be more than please, worth every penny. I can polish these when they start looking tough.

MY last pair I wore for almost two years and wore the insole down so bad, I was about on the rubber!!! I LOVE these boots! So comfortable and you can wear with any kind of jeans or slacks and look good.

I work for a package handling company, on my feet all day. I need good supportive, leather work boots. What I like most about these is that there is not a lot of padding. While padding is good in theory, it wears out and leaves uncomfortable places, these boots have never had that problem. After no break-in time and no padding issues, when I needed a new pair, this is what I went for. Now it's time for a new pair, to get me through the winter, these are the boots I'm buying!

I have had these boots about a month now and overall I’m pretty satisfied with them. They are sturdy and offer good ankle support. I am using them on a farm pasture so it’s fairly uneven and they are stabilizing. They seem to be wearing well. I would give them 5 stars but they seem to run a little bit short making them almost too small. I will never be able to wear a heavy sock with them. Also the laces do not stay tied tightly together so I must stop and re/tie often.

Love these boots but they run very big and I had to return them.

Comfortable and quick break in time. I can walk in them for hours and the traction on the bottom is very nice! The only issue I have is that the color I thought I was getting (dark peanut) turned out to be more of a tanned leather/orange.

Great looking boot but stiff. Will take a little time to break in. In my opinion, buyers should go up a half size as these were a snug fit in my true size and hurt my little toes.

The fit is right on! Hardly any break in and only because the sides do come just above the ankle and are stiff. I love them.

Overall this boot is good, and considering how terrible the selection for quality women's work boots is in general, I guess it's all about compromise. I put my boots through very heavy use, and wear them every single day. In 7 months the leather had stretched out enough that I couldn't cinch them any tighter, and my feet started to swim around a bit in the foot bed causing injury. It is what it is, and again I ask a lot from my work boots, but I just don't understand why we can't have footwear that is the same durability as men's boots. We're certainly working as hard.

This is my 4th pair of these boots. I still have 3 pair in my closet. They wear so good. I am working on concrete for my job and they hold up extremely well. I have one pair for riding motorcycles in for the protection factor. Sizing is spot on.

I purchased these boots to replace a pair of keen boots that I wear to work in the yard. It rains s here a lot so there is always mud and rain to contend with. They are extremely comfortable and fit well. I figured I would have to break them in but they were perfect and required minimal break in (minor squeaking at first). I even wore them on a good hike on the 3rd day without any problem. Fit is great, color and durability excellent. I wish they hade these in black so I could use them when riding the motorcycle.

I wore out a pair like these, so I wanted the same boot because I liked them so much. Unfortantly they are hurting my small toe on each foot. I am taking them to a shoe cobbler to see if he can do anything to help this problem because I like to boot.

I bought these for when I was working doing trail maintenance in the back country. It was a relief from my last pair, that required some breaking-in. I got no blisters, had no problems and eventually started wearing them casually. I used them in freezing temperatures and wore multiple layers of socks with them, which may play a part in why they were so comfortable but even now as I need only wear one pair of socks with them, I uphold my opinion that they are great boots. My only issue now is that they feel a little large and will have to buy another pair this summer! I'm still using them for work and hiking in the meantime :)

Very well made sturdy work boot. My old high boots simply wore out from outside chores. I ordered 9 and it seems to be a good fit but my feet look huge in them. I sort of wish they were not quite so bulky looking.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair. All others great! Ariat is making the mistake of cutting quality instead of just raising the price. Cutting down on the amount of leather used going across the toe and top of the foot area which makes them too tight and where the seams are on top it puts pressure on the joint bones. Still trying to break them in, but never had issues before. Don’t mind paying for “quality”! Companies need to understand that, poor quality causes customers to lose confidence in your product, look elsewhere and definitely does not promote referrals!
