Its like a cross between a combat boot and a cowboy boot with the benefit of a composite toe

I have 2 pair of these. Only use one pair for work. I work on tug boats as a chief engineer. The one pair has been soaked in diesel, sea water and various oils still going strong after a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a handsome looking boot and work well in a thought environment. They take a bit get worked in though, took about two weeks for them to finally get right. Once they did though, they did great. I have had them about 6 months now and they are holding up just fine. My only minor gripes are that the top leather is pretty soft so it tears kinda easily. Also unless the tounge is set right, the laces will not fully tighten the top. That’s more of a big deal when there is work to be done but it is something that you get used to. All in all good boots for the price!

I just got them yesterday. Used them today for work and they feel amazing. I have been having issues with my back and feet and did a bit of research and some people recommended this one. Today I feel great after being at work for 8 hours. They are comfortable and the quality looks great. I will update after a few months to see how they go.

They are very high quality good and comfortable. Just 1 thing if you vear size 11 order no more than 10.5size

The boot fits very well and provides the ankle support I need.

I am quite happy with these! I do prefer a charcoal, black or dark gray color and would be great if the lacing system was a BOA system for tightening - very comfortable after a brief break-in. Foot bed is the best. Time will tell for sole wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are one of, if not the most comfortable hard toe boots I have ever owned. If you are a taller person, the 8" provides great ankle support, without being restrictive. The sole is very good in slippery conditions, walking in oil, ice, snow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these for hardscaping through mud, dirt, rock and pretty much everything else and they have outshined my last pair of boots (brunt) by a million. They are pretty comfortable as well with good heel support. A half size small is just right for me. Overall, a great durable work boot.

There is a lip inside around the composite toe that makes it uncomfortable to wear

Road construction worker, after a year of wearing them 5+ miles a day and countless hours on my feet. Tread is 100% completely gone and the laces didnt hold up. Over all not a bad boot, saved my ankles a few times.

Easy navigation of the BB website. Timely delivery. Excellent boots! Take a little breaking in but very comfortable, in my opinion. Would have been nice if they were all leather although, I do like the wide square toe and the outsole is great. Recommended...by me.

I have worn these boots every day, ten hours a day, for just shy of two years. I've gone through a couple of pairs of laces, and a portion of the leather on the left boot has worn away, exposing the composite cap. That little scuff is about the size of a dime. I work in a corrugated container company as a machine operator. My job is dirty, and I'm constantly spraying these boots with water or printing ink, climbing on machines, crawling in tight spaces, kicking things with my boot, etc. It's not a job where clothing lasts, but this pair has managed to survive this far. Break in was a genuinely miserable experience, and I nearly regretted purchasing these shoes. Once broken in, however, they have been an absolute dream and I couldn't ask for anything better for the price point.

I bought these for my son who works in construction. This boot has everything. It is perfect for working hard, outside, in the cold or the heat, or the wet for that matter. After that, he can brush off the mud, and they look nice with jeans. Well, they do where we're from anyway. Very comfortable and versatile.

Since a boot model I wore for years was no longer in production by another brand, I’ve been looking for a thin square toe that stays tight throughout the work day. This square toe is thin, light and tight on my feet.

The wide toe helps to prevent the side big toe calus I've experienced with other boots. I usually walk around two miles and these boots are comfortable all day.

Super nice pair of boots but these run really big. I typically wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7 thinking I could make them work. They were huge so I had to return them. It would be great if they made smaller sizes.

Light weight, comfortable, good looking. Composite toe may cause an uncomfortable ridge on the sides of your big toe and pinky toe.. IF .. you don’t get the right size. My foot size is 11 1/4” (bare foot) Ariat 12” is too big, 11.5” is perfect These boots run slightly wide due to the square toe. My foot falls over the Ariat wide boundary on their foot maping sheet by an 1/8” designating I should go with ee (wide) for width but I went with the D (medium width) and they’re perfect.
