My daughter received these for Christmas in 2013 and only this past summer 2015 finally outgrew them. The "grow with me" insole is a stroke of brilliance. She only rides a few weeks a year, so for the most part these were everyday shoes for her. However, she's tough on shoes, and last school year only wore these or her sneakers. The boots have held up beautifully. With some leather care they look nearly as good as new, and ready for her little sister to wear in a few years. Apparently they're pretty comfortable because A) she's fussy and refuses to wear any shoes that limit her ability to run, climb and play, and B) she forgot her sneakers the day they ran the mile in school and had to run in her Workhogs instead. I'm sure she would've been better off in sneakers, but still, she ran a mile in cowboy boots -- and pretty fast, too! Definitely buying her another pair.

This has been well worth the purchase. They look great and are easy to wear.

I bought these boots as I was looking for a good riding boot that would also man-up when covering long distances on foot, they haven't dissapointed! I just completed my ride from one end of New Zealand to the other. Over 9 months myself and my 2 horses covered over 2,500km's over the worst and best terrain that NZ has to offer, everything from quicksand, beaches, alpine scrub and rock scree's to miles of tar seal and metal roads. Not once did these boots dissapoint, very comfortable both in the saddle and on the road. If your looking for a pair of boots that can hack it for all day wear, these are the boots for you! WIll be buying another pair, whenever these ones wear out, which would seem to be several yaers from now!

I've had these boots for about a month now and love them. I work in HVAC new construction and the gel soles are very comfortable. I bought the boots with the green upper section and at first thought they sent me the brown on brown boots but they are green, just not nearly as bright as pictured, but they look great.

These boots look and fit great. I'm very pleased with this purchase from Shepler's.

Waterproofed them and they are now my all purpose winter boot,with a good tread for mud snow etc. Wear them every day for the 2 mo. i've owned them. Great winter alternative to my Ariat Ropers

After trying on a huge number of boots, for everyday wear, these were the only boots I found that had a great feel, assoon as I put them onforthe first time. Rugged andcomfortable !

This is about my fourth pair of these boots. I have only worn this pair for about 1 month. By the middle of the day my feet hurt terrible. I removed the insole and the foot bed seems to be low in the middle, causing my toes to pinch together. There is no padding left in the sole after just 1 month of service. I had a similar problem with a pair of these in the past, and they were returned, and I purchased a new pair of the same model. The replacement pair fit and wore good. I think they are a good boot, but they must have some inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. At the price they charge, they should all be good, not just 3 out of 5 pairs. I will not be purchasing this model of boot again.

These were the first pair of boots that my child has outgrown!!! He wears them daily, no holes in soles, or in the toes. He has had them soaked, they go and go just like my 6 year old!!!! I've been very impressed!!!

This is our third pair of workhog boots for our boys. We get our oldest boy a new pair every year and hand down the old ones to his brother. Each pair goes through two boys in our house and there is still life left in them. So we hand down to a neighbor for their boys. Great quality and great looking boots!

I use them for work in constrution, Excellant feel walking over gravel, on concrete , or in the mud. So far it seems like a well made comfortable boot.

This is my second pair. They are the most comfortable boot. Great fit and long lasting.

I find these boots run a little big. I usually wear a 10.5 but the 9.5 fit just fine. They felt great after only a couple days of break-in. I work in a machine shop so I'm walking on concrete and metal shavings all day and the soles have held up pretty good. My only complaint is the stitching. About one year after purchase, they started splitting on the outside of the boots, right behind the balls of my feet where the boots bends when I kneel down. If they would reinforce those kinds of stress points I would rate these boots 5 stars all day long.

Put them on and loved them, my feet hurt in lots of boots from the break in on but these boots feel great from the start. I had to buy half a size bigger. More comfortable then any other I tried on from Justin, Tony Lama etc.
