I bought these 4 months ago and they are now trash ! They completely fell apart ! Great comfort and traction and great for tree spurs I loved them they just don’t last !

Copy Cat

Looks like they are trying to copy the Hoffman / Meindl boot buy these are made in China. Not nearly the quality

Stiff

Jan 8, 2019
I bought these a few months ago because I needed a boot with a lot of support and that doesn’t flex much at the toe. These boots are incredibly stiff in the sole, and when laces tightly are very supportive. They are comfortable in any weather, and keep my feet fairly warm in the cold. I wear a regular pair of socks and thick merino wool socks over, and I still have to tighten the laces very tight, so much so that the eyelets seem much closer than in the picture. These boots are extremely heavy and without them being basically welded to your foot, they are likely to slide around. If I had fat feet or ankles it make be different, but I’m not a thin guy either. I wish the tongue didn’t crumple when I tighten the laces as it detracts from their looks. A lot of people comment on how tall the sole is as well. The sole is great for water, mud, and snow, and keeps the boots a bit more stiff too.

Good boot

I bought these boots earlier this month and the work good. The only thing is they run a little big and the inside heel of the boot lining starts to bunch up some bit other than that good boot so far.

Best boots I've ever owned

Aug 17, 2019
You can just tell these are some heavy duty boots. I work on the pipelines and even though they're heavy boots, I never get tired from walking miles a day. They're super comfortable. The sole is like an inch thick and it has a steel shank on the inside, so the bottom is really stiff. I usually wear EE boots but these fit nicely with a regular fit. Definitely not boots made for lazy people who don't wanna mess around with laces. I get the price may be a bit much, but they're worth every penny. I am definitely buying these again.

they are very “chunky”. especially in the toe, if your climbing poles there may be an issue getting between the cross arm and braces. other than that very comfortable when on the hooks
